Marisol Richards,

Marisol is Janelle's step-sister and a seventeen-year-old daughter of Aphrodite. Up until she was 12, she and Janelle believed they were sisters; when in truth they were only ever step-sisters. They always believed that they were the daughters of Adam and Shannon Richards. Those who didn't know believe the two girls were twins and Adam and Shannon were happy to keep up the illusion. They were born just days apart, Marisol showing up on the doorstep two days before Janelle was born on the thirty-first of October. They had an older sister, Kaitlyn that they adored as long as they could remember. They were a happy little family until one day when Janelle and Marisol were 12, a hellhound attacked the girls. Kaitlyn who could see through the mist and saw what was actually happening threw herself in front of her sisters to try and protect them from the attack. They were saved by a satyr called Raven (my Satyr Charrie), but Kaitlyn's injuries were too severe and she died on the way to hospital. Both sisters and their parents were devastated. It was after that their parents were forced to tell them the truth and send them to Camp Half-Blood. She was claimed by Aphrodite right after she entered the borders of the camp. Janelle pushed her away almost instantly after they arrived telling Marisol that they were not sisters and to leave her alone, something Marisol would never accept, though Janelle kept pushing her away every time she tries to reconnect with her and remind Janelle that they are sisters by bond and upbringing if not by blood. Janelle rebutted this every time saying whatever bond they may have had in the past died with their sister and the discovery of their parents' lies. Marisol refuses to give up trying to reconcile with her step-sister. Marisol is warm and caring, nothing at all like her cold bitter step-sister. She loves people and being around them. She is loyal to the end which can be seen in the fact that even though she keeps getting pushed away by Janelle she never gives up on her.
