Killing Machine (CODY)

Her plan was working beautifully. The undead campers were already appearing at camp and she knew the everyone was on edge wondering why they were back from the dead. With the tension in the air, Audrey knew it was only a matter of time before she launched her first attack on the camp. She was just waiting to pick the right target. She thought about that boy who stole her deer, but knew that would be too obvious. But she knew she wanted someone that the camp would miss and would be even more on edge.

And she was planning that attack tonight. It was the dead of night and she was in the forges. She had herself propped up on one of the tables as she kept an eye on the door. He was going to be here any minute now. He would get the message. The goddess would make sure of that. So she waited for him to come. Any moment now...

It had only been a few days since he came back and was the talk of camp, and already they were calling for him. She, the voice, explained it all to him. He moves, who he was to get close to and who he was to keep eyes on. He knew his part and he knew what his part would be, thats why he found all of this so trivial. Yet the son of Poseidon found himself walking in the pitch darkness of a new moon to the forges. The Hunter was awating him, at least that was what he was told. He didn't care much for third parties, his loyalty was to the one that was always floating with him just past his sight. Yet here Cody was, mindlessly walking towards the forges where he saw the  girl proped up on the table.

"I'm not some pet you can just summon on a whim." he said as emotional as a brick. "Next time you want me, come get me the regular way. After all there is no harm in two innocent campers talking to each other." his voice was full of snark. He matched her location in the dark room, standing across from her with his arms cross. Cody still didn't know how he felt about their so called leader, but she served the voice so she was trustworthy enough to meet, turn his back to? Not so much. He knew enough to know over throwers weren't exactly known for being trustworthy. "What did you need me for?"

As soon as Cody walked into the room, Audrey tilted her head to the side and gave him a look that clearly said oh you poor baby. Not some pet she could summon? She could still summon him, but he wasn't a pet unless he was prepared to be a German Shepard. She chuckled to herself as she shook her head. "But innocent campers don't talk about not so innocent things out in public." She hopped off of the table as she walked over to him and crossed her arms over her chest. She popped a hip and looked him over. She more inspected him than looked him over. He would do for now she thought as an evil smirk crept up onto her lips.

She looked up at the Poseidon boy as she cocked an eyebrow. "So she probably told you what we're doing, right?" she asked as she wondered how much the goddess had told him. "Do you think you could control a Kraken long enough to attack camp?"

If a dark room could get any darker, it would have with these two meeting. Cody could feel it in his bones, but he welcomed the feeling. He knew his role quite well. And he was prepared for it as well. So many years ago yet it only felt like yesterday, Cody played the hero and took the heroes cost. He learned from it though that being the hero sucked. There was always another villain, always another darkness around the corner. Why be the hero when being the villain felt so Good. He simply nodded at the girl in reply. 

"Trust me, me and calamari have bonded quite nicely."  Turns out that the son of a sea god with a evil goddess benefactor had it's perks. Some extremely nice perks. "The attack will go off without a hitch, the campers won't know what hit them." Cody told himself that over and over again yet inside it felt all wrong, he knew it wouldn't go perfectly. As blind as the camp was he remembered the last attack. He knew it quite well. This would be different though, this would open up two works entirely. "As long as your other man can handle it on the other side."

Audrey's smirk grew a little bit wider as it tugged at the corner of her lips. His humor was witty, she would give him that much, but humor would gaurantee that he could control a Kraken to make sure their plan went off without a hitch. "It better go off without a hitch," she said lowly as there was a hint of threat in her voice. "Because you know we don't want to disappoint our benefactor, you know." She shifted her arms across her chest as she cocked an eyebrow at the Poseidon boy. "Don't worry, your brother says he can handle it just fine," she said as she chuckled lowly. "He's taking the west coast while you'll take the east coast. It'll be a bit of sweet revenge for you, won't it?"

Ah yes, their benefactor. Cody didn't know their benefactor well, only what  they told him in his head.  Cody was in the dark for most of it but he knew is part. A machine, a psycho in their army. A toy solider. When he was first bought back, he didn't know what to do. Why and what brought him back, but of course it wasn't out of the goodness of anyone's hearts. He was just a chess piece. He didn't know what to do about it at first  but he followed, he didn't know what else to do. He followed and listened and pulled himself into this.  There were worst things to be in. Hades is one of them. "I don't disappoint." he said simply, Looking around the deserted forge before back at Audrey. "Revenge isn't the point of this. A plus but not the point. I owe a debt"

This plan was going to go off without a hitch. Audrey could feel it. Nobody at Camp Half-Blood was going to expect a second Kraken attack in a matter of a few years. She didn't plan on the camp recovering that quickly for another water-based attacked. But she had something, or better yet, someone who could actually control that monster. It would listen to their every command and it would be organized, not chaos that Xenos threw at them.

"You better not disappoint," Audrey repeated as her smirk grew on her face as she readjust her arms across her chest. "And you do have your debt to pay, not only to her, but the rest of us. It didn't take some simple begging to convince her to bring you back. Just remember that."

Debt to pay. Cody narrowed his eyes and smirked evilly at the girl. This plan of theirs was quite the ordeal, not that it mattered much to him. Nothing did anymore. He never asked to be back, they chose him for this purpose alone. He doesn't remember where he had been in Hades but he knew how he died now. If he knew anything it would be a heroes death. Yet it seemed like no one cared about what was going on here. At all. They knew of the last attack yet no plans for safety or anything were in place. Fools, unprepared fools. He felt nothing for this place anymore, he just felt nothing.

"I don't disappoint." he said, the smirk playing on his face. Something about that phrase made him feel prideful. Like he almost knew this was true in a more 'devious' sense. "I do remember that, and if I recall you pulled me out of that hell hole(lol pun) in order to do your work. So don't flatter yourself, I owe the goddess for my life but I don't owe you all anything. We are even."

Audrey raised her eyebrows at the boy as he said he didn't disappoint as a content, but evil smile crept onto her face. This was going to be perfect. Just perfect. Until he decided to sass her. She narrowed her eyes at him as she got up in his face to glare at him. "You just remember this," she hissed at him. "If I didn't recruit Eris, you'd be stuck in that hell hole forever. So you might think you owe her your life, but you also owe me. It was my idea to bring you back." She took a step back from him as she straightened up as she lifted her chin at him. "You better be ready in two weeks," she warned him. "That's how long it'll take to get the other Kraken in position. And we want to attack both coasts at the same time. You better to ready."

Two weeks. Ugh. Cody had to be here for two weeks? He rolled his eyes and looked at the girl. "Wow two weeks? What sea sail sibling of mine did you get to do this?" he said before walking pass the girl and around the darken forge, looking for something to catch his eye. He knew he was looking for something but what it was? Who knew. He didn't understand what he wanted right now, but you best believe he was going to find it. Hey, he had two weeks to anyways. "Sure, because you convincing a goddess of something she already didn't want to do." he said sarcastically. "Two weeks and the attack will start, if he isn't in place replace him." he said simply. before walking to the door way. "and don't worry I'll get you a 'thanks for bring me from the dead to do your plan' cake at the local bakery." he said sarcastically before walking out into the night. He knew his part, time to get shrimp face ready.
