It was no surprise that Katsu didn't spend much time in her cabin. She knew she wasn't like her siblings, no matter how long she had been there. Ares' was seen as tough, strict and literally wanting to stab everything that they saw, and she was nothing like that. She was bubbly and carefree. She wanted to make friends more than fight, but thats what she was always labeled as. A warrior, another tool in the camps arsenal. That wasn't her life though, at least not what she wanted of it. So when she was in the cabin it was times like now, when she was pretty much alone. A few siblings were there but most stuck to themselves while the rest were all at the area training. It's not that she didn't love training, just when her siblings were they they always wanted to fight each other. A straw dummy Kat could fight, her sibling? Not so much.
Kat sat on her bed with a magazine, a bag of candy and a cup of coffee, enjoying her quiet afternoon and looked around at her siblings. Most she knew well, there was one that people kept talking about though. Someone who left and was back without a word. Apparently he was some big deal to the oldest cabin members. Valentine, she got his name from one of her siblings. So she pretty much pin pointed him to the only person that she didn't recognize in the cabin. She did know one thing. He had a dog, and Kat loved dogs. She saw said dog a few times but when it seemed to stroll into the cabin she couldn't help herself. It must have known his bunk well because thats were they went straight and kat walked over. "Can I pet your puppy?"

There were so many good reasons for him to be cabin leader. Not only that he was the oldest in the cabin and battle-hardened by his time outside of camp, he also had his own room. Considering that the Ares cabin wasn't what it used to be, he was pretty relieved because of that because honestly, he didn't really want to put up with his siblings. Not that he hated them... Oh well maybe he did a little. Right now he had his door open though because Sirius kept going from the main room back to his room and helped him collect things he might need. There were only a few of his siblings there right now because most were in the arena as they should be but he had an excuse. He'd leave camp in a couple hours because he was sent out with blondie not princess princess Peyton.
He didn't really know how he felt about that. He'd wanted to leave Camp again since his shoulder'd healed but when he left with another camper he was forced to come back. His thoughts were interrupted, when he heard the voice of one of his sisters and narrowed his eyes. Sirius who'd sat down next to him turned his head to look at the girl in the same moment as Valentine did. "My puppy", he repeated and looked at his sister coldly. "My puppy is probably going to bite off your head if you call him that one more time, but you can try to pet him if he lets you." He nodded at the dog lightly and if dogs could roll with their eyes, he'd probably done so as he took a few steps towards the girl. "His name is Sirius. Not puppy."

Okay, Sirius, not puppy. Katsu liked her hand, and where it was preferably. Valentine was very cold and Kat tried her best to ignore it, she didn't like it. She didn't know much about him other than he was gone for a long time and then now he was cabin leader. How it worked, she didn't know. All she cared about was the dog. She noticed as she leaned down to pat the scary dog on the head that he seemed to be packing for something. And of course Kat being her put her nose in everyone's business. "Are you going somewhere?" She asked, scratching Sirius' ears as she asked. "I thought you just got back, and you just got cabin leader." she said raising her eyebrow at her brother. Why was he leaving so soon?

Valentine kept an eye on Sirius, as his cabin sister patted him and turned back around, when he figured that his dog enjoyed the caress way too much to do anything. He pulled up the corner of his mouth to a light smile but dropped it again, when she began to start questions. It was none of her business where he was going. He turned around a bit and raised his eyesbrows at her. "Oh, I won't be gone long. I'm just going out with my girlfriend to frolic around in the outside world. We'll make flower crowns and be happy because life is just so great and then I'll be back, so no worries. I will even bring a flower crown for you", he explained with a sickly sweet smile before he rolled his eyes and turned around.
"Chiron's sending me on a quest with some girl from the Asclepius cabin", he added a bit more seriously and didn't turn around again this time. "I'll be back soon, you and the others better take care of the cabin. If I come back and things aren't going the way they're supposed to be, you are in a whole lot of trouble." He just yet realised that he'd called Peyton his girlfriend and frowned at himself lightly. Though he'd been kidding, that really wasn't funny. The thought of her as his girlfriend was.. He didn't know what it was like and he rather didn't think about it right now. Or ever.

While scratching Sirius' ear, Kat listened to her half brother with excitement. A girlfriend! Flower crowns! "I'd love one!" she said energetically, not catching onto her brothers sarcasm till he explained the second part of the truth. Her smile only wavered microscopically. "Oooh! A Quest! that must be exciting. They don't happen much anymore so it must be important. Which makes sense why you would need to go along, Ares cabin and all." She said in her same cheerful tone as before. How exciting! A quest! She hadn't heard of people leaving camp in a long time, too dangerous with the threats no longer being just monsters.
She laughed at his threat slightly, pretty sure he was just kidding. Well, hopefully at least. She moved her hand from the dogs ear to playfully salute her brother "Aye aye captian." she said with a giggle before returning her hand to the scratching it had been before. "I'll make sure things stay in line here. You just be safe!" she said, returning her attention to the dog and petting him more.
