Than was angry. Beyond angry actually. He had been thinking about his past before he came to camp eight years ago and that was never a good place for his mind to dwell. It was back then when his psyche began to fracture. Parents were supposed to love their kids, weren't they? Not use them as sick science experiments. He mulled this fact as he slashed through the training dummies with Masamune. He liked sword fighting and he used it to help him stabilize himself somewhat. He lost much of his sanity the first twelve years of his life. The twenty-year-old son of Eris had serious mental scars. He was not sane, but he was not completely insane either. Well not yet anyway. He kept on his rampage of the training dummies, releasing the built up frustration he felt. He soon ran out of dummies to destroy. It was then Masamune dropped to the ground with a loud clang and Than sank to his knees and let out a loud primal scream.

Swords. Arenas. Bows and Arrows. Weapons. Finally, Xanthe had found the arena. It was the perfect place to settle those annoying disputes when no one was doing what she wanted. Not that she knew where the place was, she could challenge people whenever she wanted! She should probably learn to use a sword though.... Xanthe was sure that she'd pick up the basics as she went along. She was a child of Zeus - lord of the sky - after all. And was she going to let the rest of the world know it.
One thing she hadn't been expecting - however - was to walk in and see someone not only destroy the dummies but fall on the floor and scream. That was definitely undignified. There was no was that she'd ever do that. She was way too awesome. "Well, what's wrong with you, sunshine?" She asked with her hands on her hips. "And don't you dare say nothing. 'Nothing' is not ruining what was going to be my training session."

Than was startled, he did not like being startled. He quickly stood back up. Not before grabbing his favourite katana that he had previously dropped. He stared at the girl who had just startled him, bemused. "Hasn't anyone ever told you not to approach someone who is having a mental breakdown, especially if they have a weapon. It is not wise." He tried to get his head as clear as possible as he analysised the girl. "How is my problem or problems as there are many any concern to you? As for me ruining your training session, I am sorry what can I do to fix what I have ruined?"
He took a few deep breathes to calm down completely, it was not a good idea to let his frayed sanity get too out of control. He realized that he hadn't been the most friendliest version of himself and likely just made a bad first impression on the girl who looked to be about two years younger than his sister. "I'm sorry, I'm not always like this. I was thinking about my past life living in a cell in my father's science lab. I get a little out of it thinking about that. Don't laugh but my name is Than." He always felt like he would be laughed at every time he told people his name. He bowed to the girl for whatever reason. As he came out of the bow, he smiled. "Have you any experience with a sword?"

She shrugged, clearly not caring. "Mental Breakdown or Eating Marshmallows, I do what I want." Xanthe wasn't exactly the kind of person to listen to advice - at all. Anyone who tries usually ends up pretty disappointed. Still, she thought that this person would be....interesting. She had a close look at who she was talking to and decided that it'd be worth her time to continue the conversation. "In short - they're not. I just don't want people walking around thinking I'm a jerk. As for fixing the problem - I don't know. You could be the testing dummy I suppose."
Seeing the two breathes, Xanthe smirked. This boy seemed to have a bit of trouble keeping himself calm - which was totally awesome for her. People who had that kind of trouble were always fun to mess with. Looking closer, she could see that this boy was older than her - like, six years older. Not that she cared. But she supposed she was going to have to when he introduced himself. It's not like she cared who he was or anything. "Again, not my problem so I don't care. Your history isn't my problem. Xanthe." She added at the end of her sentence - even though it sounded out of place. Sometimes her sentences weren't.... the best thought out. Having him bow to her - however - made her feel superior. She totally was, but that made it feel like it. "Nope. None." She said, matter-of-factually. "That's why I'm here." She then gestured to the arena. "Duh."
