I'm callin' dibs on your lips, on your kiss, on your time.
Boy I'm callin' dibs on your hand, on your heart...
ALL MINE!
Walking through camp was one of Aubrey's favourite things to do. She just got to see what everyone is up to. She would deny this if ever asked but she loved gossip and rumours, well maybe not the darkness behind them. Aubrey just liked to know things. When it came to camp gossip however there wasn't much to tell. Sure she got most of her inside tips from the Aphrodite cabin who always had the down low on everyone at camp, Aubrey wondered if there were any secrets about her roaming around. Deep in thought, she almost ran into a tiny Apollo camper who squeaked and brought her back to reality. Aubrey apologized with a smile and continued on her way. She always tried to smile, even when she didn't want to. Her look on it was life is too short to be unpleasant so she was never mean, only nice. It wasn't hard she liked being nice, helping others and just being a good person in general.
Aubrey reached her destination. The Lake. She had her bathing suit on under her clothes and a towel in hand. She left her towel in the sand and grabbed one of the canoes and set out onto the lake. She paddled out not too far, but far enough not to be interrupted. Sinking down into the canoes bottom, she looked up at the slightly cloudy and dark sky, she frowned there was a darkness coming and it was a little strange. Strange as in no one was panicking but everyone could see it's presence.
She watched the clouds for what seemed like an hour, when her eyelids fell heavy with relaxation. Resting her head on one of the seats she drifted to sleep, which was never a good idea for a demigod as sleep usually brought dreams. However these dreams were none too peaceful. These dreams were filled with anxiety and personal warning from the gods as usual. Every once and a while the campers would have to visit the Hypnos cabin to get any kind of peace around the camp grounds. Lucky for Aubrey her dreams had been tolerable enough for her to stay asleep. As she thought, her thoughts turned into dreams and the world turned off.
