Fin really didn't like having to call troop members in for misbehaving, but he had to do it from time to time. Today, he had to speak to Mac, Roxanne, and their crew. He chose to do it one on one, it was easier to talk to them when they weren't in their little clump. Heck, everything was easier when they weren't in their clump. Mac and Rox were the main prank perpetrators of New Rome and Fin had dealt with them many a time. He loved the girls, really, but sometimes they drove him up a wall. Still, he always tried to remain calm and compassionate. Tried. Roxanne was sent in first. @roxanne

Roxanne or Hawkeye walked in calmly, offering Finley a confident smile. "Well well well I decided to have a victory drink earlier just in case there is no need later." Her hair was dyed a light blue, it hung down loose past her shoulders. Her light blue eyes took in her surroundings calmly. "I love what you have done with the place." She felt certain Finley knew about what she and her companions may of done this time, what actions the group might of committed. Might of was probably distinctly inappropriate, definitely did no doubt fitted it better. She mentally ran through all of her recent pranks, shaving foam in third cohort's helmets, replacing a centurion's gladius with a plastic toy version and her current personal favourite, ink on the inside of the binoculars. Recently, Hawkeye upped the anti on her disruptive behaviour. It was like a new stage in a campaign in a way. Few would of known the reasons as to why this happened to be the case. If one broke into her secure chest, opened a locked box and then read through the letters which she wrote to her mother, they would of discovered the truth of the matter. Her mother was getting married, a turn of events that troubled Roxanne greatly. She kept such a thing top secret, instead her personal troubles came out in a dramatic increase in prank base behaviour. "You know Finley if you keep inviting me here to talk privately people are going to talk." She joked, her eyes running up and down him, as if searching for any indication as to why he might of wished for her to be here. Today's selection of pranks probably served as the reason. Finley smiled back at Roxanne as she walked in with her confident grin. He wasn't surprised, of course. She always carried herself that way. In truth, it was one of the best things about her. Her hair was blue and her words were just as bold and confident.
"Please, have a seat, Hawk," he said as she complimented his office. Then she made that little joke about people 'talking' about him calling her to his office so much. He smiled again, chuckling. "Awe, well, I guess we'll just have to live with the rumors," he concluded. He cleared his throat, "is there anything you need to talk about. Roxanne?" he asked, his tone changing from the lighter one to a more serious one. He always offered for people to give their side of the story first, before he discussed what he would do about their actions.

"Why not? Thank you." She seated herself sideways turning her head to the left in order to face him. Roxanne smiled. "There is no harm in that." She said, voicing her agreement. Roxanne's face was briefly darkened by a slight frown, but it vanished after a few moments. "No why would you think something like that?" She preferred to keep her home life private, classified. This remained the case regardless of the news. It did not effect the legion, so in her own opinion, the legion did not need to know about it. All they might see of it is a considerable increase in pranks and other misbehaviour.
"Mind if we have a drink?" She inquired as Roxanne's right arm hung down behind the chair. "It is always nice talking with you, especially with refreshments." Hawkeye took the topic down a completely different sector. "How about you Finley? I mean if you wanted to talk to me you know you no longer need to call me in here right?" Finley happened to be one of the few officers she actually happened to like. Fortunately his father was Mars, if Jupiter sired him instead, then this happy arrangement would probably not exist.

She sat in her usual sideways manner, a posture that gave an air that she didn't really care what happened there. She smiled and spoke of their being no harm in the rumors but that smile vanished for a moment before she went on to not really answer his question. He shrugged, "I just noticed that you've been a bit more... outgoing in your antics than usual, let's say. I was hoping it wasn't anything serious," he said, leaning back in his chair just slightly. "Good to hear it's nothing," as if he believed that for a second.
Then she spoke about having a drink, and how it was nice to talk and whatnot. He chuckled, "awe, well, this is technically official business so it's better to do it here," he said before standing and crossing over to his ice box. He pulled out two drinks, but they were just root beer. Finley was largely against alcohol, unlike Mac. He grimaced at a memory of Mac getting Chey drunk before replacing his smile and turning around to face Roxanne again. "Here," he said, handing her one before sitting on the edge of his desk. "I like talking with you too, for the record," he added. "But I'm afraid that you and Mac might need a bit more... encouragement to behave. I'd hate to turn you over to Cheyenne," he joked.

The matter that brought about a massive increase in her misbehaviour was in Hawkeye's opinion a serious problem. At the present, Roxanne however was utterly unwilling to discuss the topic, even with Finley (the only member in the Legion with a rank she actually liked.) "Yeah its nothing." Roxanne insisted quietly. "Should I find anything that is a problem I'll bring it up with you." Unless of course, Finley called her in again later to talk to her about something else which she totally committed.
"Official business? I think I just got drafted." She chuckled imagining a few New Romans shaking her head at her in disbelief. Roxanne accepted the drink gratefully, enjoying the cold feeling of the bottle against her hand. "Nice to hear that for the record." She responded before taking a sip of the drink. "Oh no." She answered quietly. "I don't think Cheyenne would like to hear about all of this..." Roxanne took another sip. "Though I am certain she would not be interested in my letters." She took another sip, perhaps not recognising what she said.

He nodded as she insisted that it was nothing and explained that if she found anything that was a problem she'd bring it up. He hoped that was true, that she'd eventually be able to open up to him about whatever was causing her to get so reckless. "Good," he said with a soft smile, "I just hope you don't let anything troubling you consume your life. That's all," he added, maintaining the same understanding smile.
He chuckled as she made the joke about getting drafted. He chuckled even more when she talked about Cheyenne, but then raised an eyebrow as she mentioned letters. He wasn't sure what she was talking about, but he didn't want her to close up so he decided to try and keep it cautious for now. "She's interested in your needs just as much as I am, she just as a harder time showing it. She's not as... apt with the emotional things," he said, not a hint of cruelty in his voice at all toward Cheyenne. He loved her, as a comrade, and as whatever else. That was obvious to most, that he would stand be her through anything.
"Tell me, was your latest prank of switching the swords your idea or Macs? It caused quite a riot," he mused.

"Oh don't worry I won't." She responded swiftly. "I mean no more than being a demigod has or anything." Unfortunately, her problem could not be resolve just the same as her being a child of a god could not be resolved either. "Maybe she should take a few classes then on such matters? We already have beheading 101, feast 102 and Roman Manners for Experts." Hawkeye it seemed was in a grumpy mood now she had been away from the water for a longer period of time than she preferred.
At his mention of the latest prank she smiled at him sweetly, looking offended. "Me? Pull a prank on someone?" Roxanne pretended to sound offended by the very suggestion. She paused to take a swig of her drink, swallowing she confessed. "My idea and Mac helped." She grinned broadly at him. "It happened to be quite a sight almost as good as the time I boxed the centurion." Somehow in the middle of the night, Roxanne succeeded in putting a centurion asleep in his bunk inside a small wooden box, well crate if one was to be honest. Yes she may of had to scrub many steps with a toothbrush afterwards, but it was sure worth it.
"Not that I'll crate you any time soon." She chuckled.

Of course she didn't worry a lot, he knew that. He also knew that being a demigod came with it's own worries and it was bad enough without help. "She's learning," he added to her comment about Cheyenne taking a class. Her playful banter still seemed in tact but there was something else there, something that Fin wanted to access in order to help with but he didn't know how.
Her 'sweet' smile and offended look at his mention of the prank sent him grinning again. Oh, the feigning innocence was a fun game and and unsurprising one. He nodded when she said it was her idea and that Mac was just a helper this time around. He actually laughed when she mention the boxed centurion. "Awe, that was quite a sight to see as well. Thanks for giving me the vote of confidence," he added when she said she wouldn't crate him. "It just seems like you're doing more pranks then usual, lately. Are you just having strokes of genius, then?" he could get to the bottom of this... or get close.

Hawkeye made a snorted derisively at his reply about her learning, "For that to be even true and possibly work she would actually need to be capable of learning."[b/] She finished the rest of the drink, putting the bottle down hard than she meant to.
She liked it when he grinned at her, Finley was a good person, good officer and that happened to be something she would normally not say about any of the officers within the legion. "I was thinking of doing it again." Hawkeye winked at him in a playful manner. "Might try for two in one box." If she pulled that off, it would not only be hilarious but also a camp first. "No problem." She answered calmly. Roxanne fell silent however when he inquired into if she was having a stroke of genius. Eventually she provided him with an answer. "Yes." She admitted. "I suppose one could say something like that I guess." Roxanne did not want to say what in fact happened to be troubling her just yet.

Fin was rather defensive of Chey, especially since Mac had kidnapped her and taken her to that party and... he realized he was clenching his jaw and fists and relaxed them, offering a small shrug, "you don't know her as I do, Roxanne, but you are entitled to your opinion," he tried to sound passive, a mediator of sorts, but his feelings about Cheyenne often disrupted his efforts as casualness on her behalf.
Fin shook his head, still with a grin as she said that she was thinking of doing it again. "Awe, not sure if that's going to be as easy a second time around," he chimed in. Then, she admitted to having a stroke of genius, or 'something' like that. "Well, Rome is all about discipline as you know," he started, tone casual again, "so we can't have you causing too much mischief, Hawk. As long as no one gets hurt I suppose I can go easy on you this time," he chuckled, staying leaned forward with his arms on the table.
"Anything else I can do for you while you're here?"

Roxanne noticed that he clenched his fists at her words. Perhaps she struck a nerve with him? Or maybe he simply felt defensive over another Roman within the Legion? Regardless Hawkeye believed her opinion of Chey to be completely justified. "I'd rather you know her than me." She said in an incredibly insolent tone, which had not been intentional. "It is good however that we have our own separate opinions." She disliked Chey and was not about to have her thoughts or opinion on her changed. She did not go deliberately out of her way to undermine her, however nor did Roxanne make Chey's or indeed any officer's life easy.
"Oh you of little faith I don't fail." It was a true statement, as much of a constant pranking pain she may of been, Roxanne tended to at the very least be reliable. Unfortunately how willing she happened to be in helping and or following orders entirely depended on her closeness to water. "Rome was also not built in a day." Hawkeye chuckled quietly. "Just ask our godly parents they were all there after all." It must of been interesting to what the passage of time, the rise and fall of the Roman Empire. "I never let anyone get hurt." She whispered in a quiet voice. "Well not physically." Mentally she was only slightly above the putting plastic toy snakes in peoples beds or balancing buckets of water upon a door frame.
"I do not know." She shrugged her shoulders. "It's... It's personal and something that I cannot do anything about..." Hawkeye looked utterly uncomfortable talking about such a subject. Usually she only tended to be open near water sources, something about them made her feel calmer and more confident.

Fin nodded, glad to know Chey better than Rox as well. He also could respect differing opinions. Being the son of a war God and all, it was an important thing to get past. "Good, then we'll agree to disagree and we're good," he said with a little nod as if to cap off the topic.
His eyes narrowed playfully as she said she wouldn't fail, but chuckled as well. Then she mentioned Rome not being built in a day and their parents and he rolled his eyes, "awe, yes, our parents had a lot of fun with that one," he commented. The Gods were... temperamental, to say the least.
When she quietly spoke of never letting anyone get hurt, at least physically, he smiled softly. He knew that, and he just wanted it to stay that way. Then she responded to his offer, and he leaned forward just slightly to catch her answer. Personal, awe, so there was something focusing on. "Not being able to do something about it is the worst feeling, isn't it?" he said calmly.
