The End (Riley)

The mission was quite simple: follow the girl and make sure that she didn't make it back alive. She could use any means necessary, but she had to make sure the dead body was on display for the entire camp to see. Nothing too hard for Hannah, honestly. She'd had much more complicated kills. But now, it was her time to shine for the Usurpers and to actually get something done underneath their name. And her latest target was an enemy to the Usurpers. She'd tried to blackmail Audrey into calling off the attack and Audrey wasn't having that at all. So she called in Hannah to clean up the mess.

And clean up the mess she would. Her target was walking through the woods for an unknown reason at night, but it was just perfect. She had knives strapped to her body as she stalked her pray silently throughout the night. She couldn't attack her quite yet. The timing wasn't right. But soon. Very, very soon.

Riley had a habit of walking in the forest. Its was peaceful, nothing like her home. Often she found things to fight, mostly just to waste time. She didn't speak to her family much, here nor in New York. It had been over twenty-four hours since she had threaten that traitor, and she had not seen her. Needless to say she believed her point got across nicely. Camp may not be the best place on earth, but hell if it felt more like a home than she ever had before. It may not be perfect but it was something. As she walked Riley thought back to the home that wished her dead and smiled. Let her be dead to them.

Her target seemed to be blissfully unaware of her presence, which worked in Hannah's favor even more. She pulled out a knife as she decided that the time to strike was now. She silently and quickly walked up behind her before she grabbed her. She had an arm around her torso and both of her arms as her other hand held the knife up to her throat. "Surprise," she hissed into the girl's ear as she chuckled lowly. "Thought you would win, didn't you? Well, it turns out that my boss doesn't like threats from little pipsqueaks like you." She pressed the knife against her throat a little bit more, but not enough to break the skin. "Any last words before you died?"

It figures that one day her mouth would catch up to her one day, not that she would ever admit it. Riley knew her limits and knew how to push them beyond the point she needed to. As soon as she felt the other presence it was too late for her to shift and counter the move. She felt the cold blade pressed to her throat and winced. The fox was trapped in a bear claw. She growled as she found her footing. A Boss? What was going on here? "Pipsqueak huh? What a surprise, a dog sending a mutt to do their dirty work." she bit back harshly. "You may think you'll win by killing me but have you never learned, you will never win. We may not be the golden age of Greece but we shall never fall."

Hannah had to laugh. "Quite a mouth you have in the face of death." She smirked as she pressed her blade up a little bit harder against her throat. "But know this, the Usurpers don't mess around, pipsqueak. We want our presence to be unknown for now and we're just clearing off one small mistake. A mistake that will be taken care of soon. You'll be leaving a world that is about to change. A world that will be free from the gods and we're allowed to control our destinies, like I'm controlling yours. Any last words?" Of course she was monologue-ing, but evil people tended to do that, especially Hannah. Not that she completely believed in the Usurpers, but she did believe in the chaos and destruction it would cause. However, she let the pipsqueak have a few moments to say something before she chuckled. "Time's up," she said before she did her duty. The girl was silenced forever and the Usurpers could still go on with their Kraken attack. Things were falling into place nicely. Very nicely.
