An Ocean Viewer [Open]

It was the middle of the night. The waves were gently rolling in onto the sands. Being the middle of the night, most creatures were asleep, except for one lone figure standing in the waves. It was a young man, or so he appeared to be, wearing a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. Behind him further up the sands was a pair of discarded flip-flops. He stood there on the beach, staring out at the ocean, just quietly thinking to himself. Most people that knew him would be shocked that he can keep quiet like he is. What they don't know, or understand, is that some nights he finds himself unable to sleep. He gets caught up in the fact that he is a man out of time and it haunts him. For you see, this young man was actually over 100 years old. He had found himself trapped in the Lotus Hotel and Casino for years and years. He liked to look out over the ocean at times, it calmed him to a degree. He looked for something in the distance, but not even he knew what it was. Giving a sigh, he crossed his arms over his chest and relaxed. "I really am, just a man out of time." He gave a small laugh and smirk at his own joke before he shook his head, the smile falling away from his lips. Sighing again, he turned his head to look both ways up the beach.
