It really didn't take too long. Mac was back at camp and, of course, there were rumors flying around about her. There were some that were interesting, like her getting her good friend Miss Praetor drunk at a party, but then there were ones he did not like at all. Like this latest one... she was seeing some guy. A painter. That artistic crap that always make girls go weak at the knees. Ezra knew that he needed to put a stop to this, but he couldn't go to Mac directly. No, that was a complete invitation for Cheyenne to go after him and his balls. No, he had to do this a super sneaky way. He asked around and found someone who could do the job. Apparently someone who had luck on their side.

So a meeting was arranged. Nighttime at the Senate. Nobody would be around except for the two of them, so nobody had to know what they didn't need to. He walked into the building as he looked around and saw a figure in the distance. "Are you the person that's gonna help me with my little problem?" he asked as he came closer.

Jen was many things. A partier, a free spirit, a gambler and able to melt paint off the wall when she really got to swearing. Above all things though Jen was a constant business woman. Money was rare to come by when you were a legion scrub and didn’t have any family in Rome to back you. The pay for being a legionnaire was piss poor and the rules sucked faun cock. That being the case Jen was always on the lookout for a way to make a little extra dough. If she could gamble she usually did but gambling was fickle. Sometimes you just needed a job and as far as jobs went Jen wasn’t too picky.

So here she found herself late at night, in the Senate house, when she could be looking for a bar or a party, and she was waiting on a guy with a job. It wasn’t a pretty job but it was one that she had no problem doing and that was really the main thing when it came to this stuff because the job she had found was all about intimidation. Jen didn’t know her target personally but one thing was for certain. This was definitely going to be fun and she liked getting paid for things that were fun.

So leaning against a wall back in the shadows Jen waited for her contact to show. She didn’t think it would be long and sure enough it was only a few moments before she heard someone approaching and calling out to her. “Depends. You the pantywaist too afraid of his ex’s current squeeze to put the squeeze on him yourself?” Jen chuckled. It was good to keep things in perspective but a little good natured ribbing couldn’t hurt. “Yes I’m here for the job now what do I need to know?”

Ezra was warned that the person he was working with had an... interesting sense of humor, but it still caught him off guard when he finally met his contact. He raised his eyebrows at her as he walked towards her and cross his arms across his chest. "I don't think pantywaist is the appropriate term you want to use," he said as there was a slight chuckle in his voice. "But my ex... she's seeing some boy. I don't know much about him, but I need him to know to back off from her." The laughter was lost in his voice as there was a little of a fire in his eyes. "And I can't do it myself, since her best friend is the Praetor and has threatened my balls a couple of times. However, this is something..." He gestured between the two of them. "She won't find out about it. Her name is Mac... Mac Carter. She's in Second Cohort. Find the guy she's seeing and tell him to back off or else."

“Mac. Yeah I know her.” Jen chuckled. “Seems like the fun sort.” This whole situation was a little amusing. Here she was being hired to basically strong arm some kid who had gotten the hots for some dude’s ex-girlfriend. Not that she cared or that it was any of her business but was the guy really so much of a wimp that he couldn't take care of this himself? If that was the case he may not have to worry about Praetor Cheyenne taking his balls because Jen was starting to doubt whether he had any stones to begin with.

“Alright so just to sum up, find the boy that’s got you scared shitless, deliver the message that the blonde is off limits and then pound the message home for good measure so you can get the business on with your ex. I think I’ve got the gist of it. You got a name for me or something?” Jen was interested in finding out who had this guy so worried. Mac seemed like the type that knew how to take care of herself and she doubted the blonde girl would be too receptive if she found out her ex was willing to do some shady deals to try and move in on her. Then again who knew? People were weird and a check was still a check at the end of the day. “What’s got you so up in arms anyways? Mac leave ya with an icy case of blue balls that would do Chione shame? If so there’s plenty of girls who would throw you a mercy fuck to get you mind off it. Works a lot better than intimidation.”

"Fun is a good way to word it," Ezra said with a chuckle as he crossed his arms and shook his head. Mac was many things to him and fun only covered a little bit of what he knew of her. And he wanted to be the only one that knew her, so that little punk of a boy she was seeing had to be put down and now. "It's Ezra. And I can't scare off the boy myself or else she won't talk to me, which kind of defeats the point of doing the scaring away in the first place." He nodded his head as he eyed the girl to see if she was up to snuff. But then she had to insult him and he rolled his eyes. "Let's keep the reasons private and I'll double your pay. Sound like something you can deal with?"

"Alright, alright, so you can't scare him off or the girl won't like you. Think I saw this on a gods damned Lifetime movie once. Hate those things." Jen shook her head. It would be an easy job. Could she tell Ezra that this was just the type of plan that could backfire on him badly? Of course she could but then she would miss out on the payday and she didn't want to do that. Besides, her dear old mom would probably like the fact that he was willing to gamble everything to get the girl even if she probably wouldn't have admired his methods.

In any case it was going to be fun to watch and if nothing else Jen thought that would make it worth her time especially if the dude doubled her pay. "Damn. Boy must really be yanking your chain if you're willing to pay that price but alright. Double the money and you've got a deal, no questions asked. I'll even bring you back a tooth as a souvenir if you want."

Ezra had to chuckle a bit. Was this lifetime movie worthy? He personally thought that Mac was an Oscar in comparison, but whatever he needed to do to get her back he was willing to do it. He smirked before he added, "At least it's not a Disney Channel movie. Those things are so cheesy and horrible in comparison." Nobody wanted to be degraded down to a Disney Channel movie and Ezra was going to make sure that this didn't downgrade. There was a lot on the line and a lot at stake, but the payouts were worth it.

But she seemed to agree to his deal. Double the money and no questions asked. It sounded like a plan to him. He nodded his head slowly before he raised his eyebrows. "No tooth will be necessary. I don't want the evidence linked to me." And with that, he reached a hand into his pocket as he pulled out a small wad of cash and handed it to her. "And as a sign of good faith, I'll give you half of your payment now and half when the job's done. I hear you're the best in the business and I'd rather you stay that way."

A Disney movie huh? Yeah she would give him that one. Disney Channel movies were definitely not her bag. That said she didn't think Disney would touch this plot with a 10-foot pole. Jen herself would make those wholesome bastards shit their drawers. It was much more likely that this was the type of plot where the crazy exboyfriend was stalking his former girl trying to have his way with her and now that Jen was involved the shit was about to get real.

"I'm telling you, you're really missing out on the tooth thing. Nothing that a girl loves more than a battle trophy to show your affection. A tooth, a finger, the still bearing heart of an enemy, they'll say they don't like it but they do. Makes em wetter than a submarine with screen doors." Jen chuckled. This was going to be fun and she couldn't figure out what she was going to enjoy more, the beating up the current boyfriend part or the messing with the ex-boyfriend part. There were just too many options. The money up front would be nice though. It was always better to have something in hand if you were going to be doing this kind of work because a lot of things could happen. "See now you're just trying to butter me up. I'll go ahead and take the money but you should know you don't have to work that hard to get some girls in the sack." Chuckling again she gave him a little wink.

Ezra had to chuckle as he shook his head. "If you happen to get his tooth, I guess I can't say no to that kind of a gift, but do not go out of your way to get one, okay?" If Mac found out that he had one of the boy's teeth, that was almost a surefire way for her to never speak to him again, which was the quite opposite reason why he was hiring the girl in front of him in the first place. But the plan looked like it was going to go quite smoothly.

Jen took the money from him before she made a comment and winked. Ezra chuckled again as he reached up to ruffle his hair a bit. "If that's an offer, I'll let you know that I like to keep things between my business associates professional..." he lowered his hand and raised his eyebrows at her before adding, "But once you get the job done, we'll no longer be associates, so that's when we can throw professionalism out the window."

"Fine, fine. You sure know how to spoil a girl's fun." Jen said as she took the offered money. This guy definitely seemed like the vilest sort of scum there was but at least he paid and as long as the money was coming in Jen didn't mind too much. Maybe she wouldn't get to maim someone tonight but at least there was a pretty good chance she would be getting drunk afterwards and well who could complain about that? "I'll make sure her new boy toy sees the errors of his ways without breaking him....much."

And that was that. Business was done except for one thing. Grinning at the boy's offer Jen considered for a moment and then nodded. "Oh I'm very professional. Just remember that I've got a strict penis removal policy for guys who try and double cross me." She wondered if Mac might have such a policy if she found out what lover boy here was up to. She didn't know but one thing was for sure, it was going to be fun to watch if she found out. For now though Jen had a message to deliver and money to spend. "Alright now. Off with you. I've scrub to knock back into line and we don't want you getting caught up in the business side of things. I'll check back when the deed is done."

Ezra chuckled as he held his hands up to show that he was defenseless. “And you'll find that I have a strict no penis removal policy. I like it there and I don't double cross those who help me with my problems.” He gave a slightly wolfish smile as he checked out Jen briefly. “But I wouldn't mind someone like you by my penis.”


He chuckled again as he stuck his hands into his pockets and took a step back. “Alright,” he said with a smirk. “I'll see you when the deed is done... And then there's probably more deeds to be done.” He laughed to himself as he turned on his heels and left.

Jen chuckled. This Ezra guy was apparently her kind of scum. Business was all fine and dandy but at least he knew that there was always time for a little fun afterwards and that was really what was important in Jen’s mind. “Play your cards right and you might get to have me all over your penis.” She grinned widely and gave him a wink. “Just sayin. Always good to have something to look forward to.”

With that Jen figured the deed was done. As Ezra turned to leave so did she knowing that there would be plenty to do before she could get back for the rest of her reward. Money wasn’t everything but money and sex was pretty close. Throw in a little violence on the side and as far as Jen was concerned you had pretty much everything covered. Tonight was going to be fun and she was going to enjoy every minute of it.
