Genie was a little nervous. She had been all day. Last night she had gone rogue as it were and followed her impulses. They had led to her to giving Lydia a kiss goodnight and while she had really liked doing it at the time she had sped off really quick in embarrassment and excitement, so fast in fact, that she didn't even stick around to see what Lydia had thought about it. While not necessarily a bad thing and it had certainly seemed right at the time she realized now that by running off she was at a pretty big disadvantage. Did Lydia like it? Was it the right thing to do? These were just some of the questions in her mind and now, instead of enjoying the blissful floating on a cloud sensation that she anticipated she was wondering if she hadn’t just screwed up her chances with Lydia entirely.

The worst part was that she hadn't seen Lydia at all today and even though Genie knew they were supposed to meet up she was finding it really hard to concentrate. She hadn't been able to get any work done in the forge all day and if she wasn't careful she was going to mess up some of her projects. She supposed it would serve her right but the not knowing really was driving her crazy. Finally she decided if she hadn’t heard anything from Lydia by the end of the day she would march right over to the Dionysus cabin and see what was going on herself. She just hoped Lydia wouldn’t slam the door in her face when she did.

Dumbfounded. It was rare that Lydia was ever dumbfounded, but after what happened last night there was a first for everything. She thought she would just say goodnight to Genie and see her in the morning, but so much happened. Genie kissed her and ran off before Lydia could enjoy it. And she did enjoy the brief moment she got. But now... she was just confused and she spent the better part of her morning sitting in her cabin rationing out her feelings and thoughts. She liked Genie. That was granted. Gods... no matter how she tried to think, her mind kept wandering back to that night with Genie's lips on hers. And she had to meet her in a little bit. And Lydia had made up her mind on what she was going to do.

She made sure she was ready before she headed over to the Hephaestus cabin only to be turned away by Genie's siblings. She wasn't here, but they knew exactly where she was. So Lydia took a deep breath before she headed down to the forges. She paused by the door when she saw the girl and her heart fluttered a bit before she took a deep breath. "Excuse me," Lydia said as she stepped inside and towards Genie trying to keep her tone lighthearted. "But do you have a habit of kissing people and leaving before they can enjoy it? Because if you do, that's one habit that we need to break."

She needed to pack things up. It was getting late and Genie really did want to see Lydia. It was obvious that she wasn’t being very productive here and a good shower might help to clear her mind before seeing the Dionysus girl. Unfortunately though Genie never got the chance as just as she was putting out her fires and hanging up her tools she heard a voice behind her and it didn’t sound too happy.

Genie squeaked and spun around to face Lydia knowing that she had been caught. “That’s not usually how I like to do things.” She said hesitantly looking to see any sign of what the girl was thinking. Lydia didn’t look too mad but looks could be deceiving. “My momma always told me you should go with your gut though...I wanted to kiss you so I may have acted without thinking it through much.” She was thinking now though and this conversation wasn’t going at all like she had expected it to. How exactly did Lydia plan to break her of her habit? What was the girl really thinking? There was no way to know for sure but Genie did pick up on one part of that conversation. “Were you enjoying it? Before I left I mean?”

As Lydia was walking towards Genie, she tried to keep her face as straight as possible. It was a bit fun to see Genie a bit flustered, but she couldn't know her real intentions for coming and seeing the girl. She stopped about a foot away as she tilted her head to the side. "Gut instinct?" she replied as she nodded her head. "I've never really heart it applied to kissing, but I like it." She giggled a bit as she straightened up and took a step towards Genie.

"I was enjoying it," she said as she looked at Genie before glancing down at her lips. "It's just too bad that I couldn't really truly enjoy it though since you left." She tilted her head to the other side as she smirked. "So I'm now guessing this is my time to really enjoy myself." A smile broke on her face as she giggled a bit before she leaned in to gently kiss Lydia.

Genie watched as Lydia approached her. She couldn't get a good read on the situation so she wasn't really sure how this would go down. Lydia didn't look like she was mad and that was good but Genie would be lying if she said she wasn't a little anxious. Still, she could definitely agree that Lydia was the hottest thing in here at the moment as she marched across the room and that was including the forges.

Wiping her brow off on her sleeve Genie really wished that she had the time to clean herself up a little bit. She knew she looked like a hot mess but that apparently didn't matter much to Lydia. The girl matched right up to her and before Genie could even say anything she had a very pleasant surprise pressed up against her.

Quick kisses were nice but this was much better than nice. Lydia leaned into her and Genie kissed her right back closing her eyes and giving a soft contented sigh. She didn't know how long that kiss really lasted but it seemed like an eternity. When they finally did break away though Genie was smiling. "Wow..." She said in a dreamy tone. "...that was...well, wow. Guess I should have enjoyed that first kiss a little more when I had the chance huh?"

Finally Lydia was kissing Genie and she could really enjoy it. The girl wasn't going to be rushing off on her anytime soon and she couldn't tell if it was because she was stunned or something else. But it was nice. Lydia truly enjoyed it as she kissed the girl softly as she moved her arms to her hips so she could hold her close.

But like all good things, it had to come to an end as Genie pulled away from her lips. Lydia raised her eyebrows to make sure that everything was okay before a smirk crept onto her lips. "I think you should've too," she said as she reached up to push a strand of hair out of Genie's face. "Like I said, we need to break you of that habit."

Well this was turning out much better than Genie had anticipated. When Lydia slipped her arms around her the daughter of Hephaestus couldn't lie that she felt a happy little fluttering in her stomach and she was still pleasantly light headed from having Lydia's lips pressed to hers. The Dionysus girl was a good kisser and Genie was already pretty excited about what this all meant. One thing was for sure it was definitely going to be a lot harder concentrating on work with thoughts of Lydia floating around in her head and that wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

"It is a bad habit." Genie confirmed. "Annnnnd I might need a little more practice to break me of it." She smiled happily as she tried to get at least one more kiss out of the pretty Dionysus girl. If Lydia really didn't mind kissing her then Genie planned on taking full advantage of that fact. "...You know, just in the interest of forming better habits. Besides, you had me worried for a minute. That was a very tricky trick missy. I can forgive you though."

Lydia giggled a bit as Genie did agree with her that she had a bad habit. She bit the corner of her lip as she looked at Genie as she moved her hand to her shoulder after she pushed that strand of hair out of her face. "Well... you know what they say... it takes twenty-one days to make or break a habit." She giggled a little bit as she glanced down to Genie's lips briefly before glancing up into her eyes. "A tricky trick missy?" she repeated as she shook her head. "I haven't heard that before."

But her hand moved up from her shoulder as she cupped Genie's cheek and caressed her cheekbone with her thumb. "But I think I have no problem breaking or forming new habits with you." And without another word, she pressed her lips against Genie's once more. Sure, Genie was practically begging for more kisses, but Lydia was happy to oblige.

Twenty one days of kissing rehabilitation with Lydia didn't sound so bad though Genie did hope things could maybe last longer than that. She did like the Dionysus girl and if Genie had her way she was definitely going to see if there was anything more to that happy fluttering in her stomach than just a strong physical attraction. Right now though the attraction was very strong and when Lydia came back for seconds Genie eagerly accepted the renewed attention leaning into the girl's caress and kissing her back with a little more intensity now that she had gotten over the shock.

It was getting hot in here and not just because of the forges. Genie found herself wishing that they were back in her room where she could lay the pretty girl down on her bed and properly make out with her. Genie had never been much of a girly girl to be scared of getting a little sweaty and dirty but she did feel self-conscious of the fact that Lydia looked so hot while she probably looked like a hot mess. In the end it was that thought that caused her to reluctantly pull away giggling a little in embarrassment. "Are you sure you didn't mistake me for one of my smarter, prettier sisters? They probably would have found a better place to kiss you than a deserted forge."

Twenty-one days of kissing was definitely something that Lydia could get used to easily and it really didn't look like that Genie would have any objections over it either. Maybe the location wasn't ideal, but it was nothing that Lydia was worrying about in that moment. Right now, it was Genie and her lips. That had her full attention until Genie pulled away from her.

She raised her eyebrows slightly before she returned the girl's giggles. "Nah," she said as she shook her head. "I think I have the right one... and it being deserted means that nobody will interrupt us... unless you have a better place for us in mind?"

Genie still wasn't so sure that this was all some kind of mistake. This all seemed like a dream and Genie kept thinking that any moment now she was going to wake up with her head on her workbench with Lydia's lips being nothing but a pleasant memory. That said Lydia certainly felt real enough and the fact that she showed no signs of going anywhere gave the Hephaestus girl hope that this dream wouldn't be ending any time soon. Genie wanted to stay here, wanted to keep kissing Lydia and happily enough it looked like she had the opportunity to do just that.

Genie bit her lower lip for a moment considering her options and finally decided to relent and just go with it. "Well so long as there isn't any confusion I reckon there wouldn't be any harm in a few more kisses." There were few things that could get her going like a cute girl that didn't mind getting a little dirty and she found that she desperately wanted Lydia's lips on hers again. Maybe if one of their cabins had been closer it would have been different but right now Genie couldn't think of anywhere she would rather be than right here with Lydia in her arms. "I think I've been waiting too long to risk you letting you get away from me now." She smirked and let her hands drift down Lydia's back to give her bum a little squeeze. "Get over here and kiss me you sexy thing you." and with that Genie wasted no time in getting back to what was really important.

"Nope, no confusion here," Lydia said with a bit of a smirk. Personally, she thought that Genie was the prettiest one in her cabin, but she wasn't going to voice that opinion aloud. Instead, she was going to make Genie know that wasn't any confusion with her lips. Besides, Lydia always found that having a quiet, secluded spots around camp made for the best make out sessions. She bit the corner of her lower lip as she used her fingers to gently brush along Genie's arm.

She giggled when Genie's hands found her rear and squeezed and and she looked down at her with a smile. "You don't need to tell me twice," she said before she leaned in to close the gap between their lips. She pressed her body up against Genie's as she held her close. She was going to enjoy the Hephaestus girl as much as she possibly could while they still had the forges to themselves.

With the confusion cleared up and the knowledge they wouldn't be disturbed in her mind Genie was all too happy to go back to taking full advantage of this situation. She was about to say just that but then Lydia leaned forward and put the issue to rest in a much more effective way. Genie hugged the other girl close and just let herself be carried away by the soft press of Lydia's lips and the sweet taste of her breath.

Genie kissed Lydia back much more eagerly this time and as they got more into their kissing she tugged hot Dionysus girl back to her own little personalized corner of the forge where her hammock awaited. Maybe it wasn't as perfect as being back in one of their rooms but it would be better than standing around and Genie was willing to bet the Lydia wouldn't mind getting a little more comfortable so long as the kissing continued. On that matter she thought they were both in agreement.

Kissing Genie was quite enjoyable and Lydia thought it was now one of her top favorite things to do. And the fact that she got to have her alone in the forges? That was a very pleasant idea and it seemed that Genie thought the same way as well. She held Genie close as she kissed her as one hand went to her lower back and the other cupped her cheek. And it was good and lovely, but Genie decided to get a little bit more comfortable and Lydia couldn't help but agree. She allowed herself to be pulled back into Genie's corner with the hammock. She made sure not to break the kiss as she got in and made herself comfortable.

As soon as Genie joined her in the hammock, Lydia pulled her closer so that her body was pressed up against the Hephaestus girl. Her hand moved from her cheek as it went to her arm and softly caressed the skin there as her hand on her lower back made sure to hold her close to her. She wasn't afraid of Genie running away from her. Not now, but she did love the feeling of her pressed up against her.

Genie wasn’t going to be bragging or anything but she thought the fact that they were able to maneuver their way across the room and deposit themselves comfortably in the hammock all without breaking their kissing meant they were pretty good at this making out thing. Lydia certainly was in any case and Genie was quite content that her lips were currently locked together with the pretty Dionysus girl’s. Now as she laid with Lydia and felt the girl pressing against her she was encouraged all the more to continue.

Letting out a soft, contented moan as she got settled Genie found that her hands really wanted something to do and they apparently had a mind of their own of how to do it. They were going pretty good now and the Hephaestus girl brought one hand up to play with Lydia’s long hair while the other went exploring the body she had been wanting to touch ever since they had snuggled that night in Lydia’s room. It was fun and she was definitely enjoying herself. “I think…I might have…found…my new…favorite pastime.” Genie gasped between breaks in their lips.
