[Cheyenne Achilles]

Ever since the Kraken attack, Cheyenne wondered about the Omega that appeared above it. Not only that, but she wondered what she was missing in her scouting notes. The augur couldn't be the sole one correct about this. There had to be something in her scouting notes. Those thoughts alone kept Cheyenne in her office most of the days as she shifted through paperwork that dated decades old. That's when she discovered something that related to that Omega. Something that once was tied to this camp...

"I knew it," Cheyenne declared as she slammed her paper onto her desk as she looked up at the wall. "I knew it... I just knew it..." She looked down at the paper as she smirked a bit. "I knew that AJ couldn't predict this all by himself...."

Masin was headed to talk to the Praetor, Cheyenne. One of the members of her cohort, the fourth, was missing. Not missing in action, necessarily, for they were just sent on a chore and didn't come back, but the rest of the cohort couldn't find them. Masin was sure they were just hiding somewhere, messing with her, but she wanted to check with Cheyenne nonetheless and also ask her what the proper punishment would be when they found the camper hiding out...

She knocked on the door to her office but it swung open at her touch, "Cheyenne? Are you...." she poked her head in. "Uh, everything okay?"

Cheyenne's head immediately snapped up when she heard someone addressing her. It was Masin from the fourth cohort. One of the few Centurions that actually did her job. Cheyenne quickly glanced down at the papers and decided to cover them up in case she decided to look at them. The discovery of Greek demigods was a major one and the information shouldn't be passed around camp willy-nilly. She looked back up at Masin as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

"No. Everything's okay," she said as she nodded her head curtly before she stood up a bit straighter. "What brings you here though, Masin? Is there another party that we need to bust?" The fourth cohort wasn't known to being the calmest ones around camp, but they flew under the radar so much that Cheyenne never knew when they were having a party unless a person like Masin told her.

Cheyenne said everything was okay and straightened up to her usual stance. Masin liked Cheyenne, thought she was everything that a Praetor should be. Masin thought about wanting that job someday, but she wasn't too hung up about it. She didn't mind being in the position she was in, being among the ranks and leading there. Plus, she trusted Cheyenne and Finley.

Cheyenne then went on with business, asking what Masin came for. Masin straightened up, too, clasping her hands behind her back. "No parties at the moment. We're missing Kaitlyn Brown," she said firmly, "we sent her into New Rome to get some apples for a training exercise, shooting apples off the tops of peoples heads and whatnot, and she hasn't come back. We've searched New Rome and Camp and we can't find her."

Cheyenne pressed her lips together as she waited for Masin to state her business. And a missing camper was the problem. One who was either a really good hider or left camp and the city completely. Cheyenne tapped her fingers on the table as she thought about it for a moment.

“We can get our search dogs for her. She's probably in a closet or something. I don't put that past her or your cohort, no offense.” She looked down at her papers as she moved the papers a bit. “But if she left camp and New Rome, I can't help her.” She looked back up and smiled apologetically. “Everyone is grounded until we find those responsible for the Kraken attack.”

"None taken," Masin said, resisting the urge to sigh. She knew that they were a bunch of troublemakers, that's why she was made Centurion in the first place. She was one of the few who wasn't like that. She nodded firmly as Cheyenne spoke about she couldn't help Kait if she left camp, due to the Kraken attack. "Understood and agreed, if she left she's on her own," Masin really hoped that wasn't the case. "How is that going, by the way? Research on the Kraken attack," she asked, nodding toward the papers on Cheyennes desk, assuming that's what they were.

Cheyenne nodded her head as Masin agreed with her plan. It wasn't the best plan ever, but they couldn't go out into the world to look for one Roman when there were bigger threats out there. Threats of a Greek nature. Masin asked about the Kraken research and Cheyenne looked down at the papers as she drummed her fingers a bit. Should she tell her? Should she not? She pressed her lips together as she thought it out before she looked back up at Masin. "I think I found a pretty major breakthrough that will lead us to the culprits," she said as she nodded her head slowly. "I need to confirm with Fin, but most likely we'll be sending out a scouting group to verify our research."

A major breakthrough? Masins eyebrow raised even higher, almost offering her help, but Cheyenne mentioned Fin. Naturally. "I hope to be of assistance once you've received Finley's input," she said with a short nod, "as for the scouting group, thank you," she gave a short bow before straightening up. "Is there anything else I can do for you while I'm here? I know you need to speak with Fin first but perhaps I could accompany you to meet him?" she took a step back, toward the door, but then paused, her eyes flickering back to the scrolls, "you could tell me first, if you'd like, and we can tell Fin together." An idea.

Cheyenne pressed her lips together as she tried to keep the secret to herself until she told Fin, but here was someone in front of her who would completely understand what was at stake with this discovery. She tapped her fingers on the desk before she nodded her head. "Okay. I'll tell you, but you have to promise to keep it a secret until it's formally announced." Cheyenne's eyes darted around to room to make sure that nobody else was in the room or listening in before she leaned her head in towards Masin's.

"I just found out that we're not the only demigods," she said in a hushed whisper. "There are other demigods. The ones responsible for the attack are demigods, but they're not Roman. They're Greek. Greeks are trying to attack our camp and we need to stop them and I need to tell Fin as well." She raised her eyebrows at Masin to see how well she was taking the news.

Masin leaned in as Chey said she would tell her, and nodded when she was told to keep it a secret. "My lips are sealed, your words stay yours," she vowed. Then, Chey started to explain, and Masins heart was pounding loudly in her ears. Greeks? Attacking the camp? It was them? Masin felt her blood start to boil. And, of course, she knew that Chey was telling the truth.

"That's..." before she could finish she looked up, the door had opened and Fin was stepping inside. She leaned away from Chey, straightening up and clearing her throat. "Praetor Rockefellar, sir," she greeted with a nod. But her heart was still racing.

Fin was headed to check on Cheyenne. He wanted to meet with her and discuss things and... really, just wanted to see her. He approached the Principia and knocked on the door before pushing it open. "Chey- Oh, hey Masin," he looked between the two girls. Something was weird... Masin looked like she was about to pass out, Cheyenne looked more serious than usual, if that was possible. "What's going on? Are you guys okay?" he stepped into the room and shut the door, double checking that no one was in close vicinity in case there was something wrong that they needed help with.

Cheyenne looked intensely at Masin as she processed the news. It was a bit out there, but the documentation was there. Long ago, New Rome had established a relationship with a Greek camp. However, something went wrong and those ties were dissolved and they never spoke of the other. At least, until now. She waited for Masin to say something, but Fin walked in right as she was about to say something. Cheyenne immediately straightened up as her face heated up slightly. She hadn't truly talked to Fin since Mac made her accusations about him being in love with her, so she still felt awkward around him.

"Fin," she breathed out as she nodded her head. "You're just in time. I found something out that's pivotal about the Kraken attack." Her eyes glanced at the door to make sure it was shut before she looked back at Fin. "You might want to sit down for it. It's pretty earthshaking."

Finley asked what was going on and Masin looked to Chey to give the answers. She told him to sit down and Masin nodded. "It..." she shook her head, "just sit," she agreed. Then, she took the moment as Fin got settled to breathe in and out slowly.

Greeks. Basically the worst people in existence, at least to Romans. Rome was stronger, better, more organized and more judicial. Masin considered for a moment that maybe they should teach the Greeks there ways, make them better... but if they attacked first Masin would back up an attack wholeheartedly, and march into battle.

Cheyenne pressed her lips together as she watched Fin move from the door and take a seat. She knew it sounded all crazy what she discovered, but she knew that he had to know it. That the top leadership of New Rome had to know. Once he sat down, Cheyenne cast a glance over to Masin and nodded her head before she turned back to Fin. "I know who did the attack," she said as she pulled out the pieces of paper that detailed a certain piece of New Rome history that was almost forgotten. "They were demigods," she said as she handed over to Fin. "Greek demigods. They're attack our camp. We need to do something before history repeats itself once more."

He sat down, a little panicked. She started to explain and he sat up straight as she mentioned the attack. Then she said they were Demi Gods and he frowned, his brow furrowing. But the last part... as she handed him the paper... he completely froze. "Gr-Greek?" he said, unbelieving. He looked down at the paper and then up at her and then back to the paper and then back to her again, "how is this possible? How..." he gathered his wits, glancing to Masin and then back to Chey, "we need to find them. I doubt the entire group did this. I mean, there are bad seeds everywhere, right?" he HOPED it wasn't a whole giant group...
