She is much like many daughters of Aphrodite and Venus in the way that she thinks toying around with boys and love is more like a sport then something she'd actually commit to. She's suspicious, jealous, possessive and often assumes the worst. She's a vengeful little thing, and most of that vengeance is geared toward any who even looks at her cousin. She is incredibly possessive over her.  At first glance she almost seems sweet, someone who you could easily befriend. The main problem is, she's rather addicted to her ability and finds it fascinating that she can mess with people. She doesn't use to often, considering she will get sick herself if she does, but you can bet that she will use it against you in a heartbeat if you upset her. Ridely treats her friends as if they are part of a special, high profile group. It is easy to lose her however, for she is always on the lookout for betrayal from her friends. She doesn't have any real friends, not in a 'always there for each other and love each other' kind of sense. She really feels as though she doesn't need them. Still, she's an aggressive part of Rileighs little group, she looks up to the girl. ABILITY SPECIALITY: Disease Manipulation-- RIdley's disease manipulation specializes specifically with the common flu. She has to be touching her subject, but when she does she can cause them to feel ill until she lets go. However, if they are already coming down with something, she doesn't even have to touch them to worsen the sickness that they already have. The major set back is, if she does this too much she herself will get ill as well. A little History: Once upon a time, an angry little girl named Ridley grabbed onto another childs hand, and then that child threw up. RIdley's Father, Carter, was an incredibly handsome nurse with a knack for curing children. He worked in pediatrics and was incredibly well loved by his patients. When Hecate caught wind of his amazing remedies (which some claimed were just like magic!) she posed as an attractive nurse who was visiting a medical convention the same weekend that Carter did. They had a little fling, of course, and viola! Ridley came into existence. To this day Carter still doesn't know that the random lady he had a weekend fling with was actually a Greek Goddess. Ridley hasn't bothered to tell her, thinking it's best to keep her father in the dark. It was hard, however, trying to keep it a secret from her dad that she thought she was making people sick. For a long time Ridley just thought she was imagining things, until she started to experiment... She soon found that people felt ill when she touched them, if she was thinking vengeful thoughts. She also figured out that doing this every day made her sick for weeks at a time. She didn't realize the ranged portion of he ability until later on, when she came to camp. That happened when she was already almost fifteen years old. A satyr found her and explained what she was. It was a bit of a shock to Ridley, but she was glad to know she wasn't a witch or something, but was incredibly upset with Apollo. From then on she spent the summers at camp, telling her father that she was going to a regular summer camp for youth, and her father supported her. Through her years at camp Ridley developed more of her powers, and more of her personality. She found that manipulating people was fun, and people weren't worth trusting. When she found out her cousin was a Demi-God as well, Ridley couldn't have been more happy. She was happy to look after her at camp and make sure that she went down good paths and didn't allow herself to be toyed with. Then that boy, Ethan, came along. "I hated that Crystal was attached to someone other than me, someone who was just so perfect for her. We only needed each other and he was in the way. So, I started to convince Crys that she was bad for him. What!? I had to protect her from boys, from a broken heart. Anyway, she eventually gave into my way of thinking. She knew that I was right, that it was better to not be with Ethan. She just thought it was for HIS sake. I knew it was for HERS. So, I performed a little magic, taking only his memories of her and their time together. He wouldn't remember her at all. But then, of course, she wanted to leave Camp and I couldn't let her go alone. I love every second of the time we were gone. Just the two of us, fighting monsters and men and living the dream out and about, no bounds. But now we're back, and she's decided to change her name. I'll call her Lily as often as I can, just in respect because I love her, but he better stay back. Rp Sample-- Andy made eye contact with Finn as he began speaking to her. He was so upbeat, at first, asking how she was doing today. Then he picked up the face and ran over to her, asking what was wrong, asking if she wanted anything. She hesitated, her eyes wide as he wrapped his cloak around her shoulders. Then she nodded, "I need a drink," she said softly, "something warm?" she blinked rapidly, assuring that no tears would fall from her eyes. She wouldn't tell Finn Jordan what had happened, of course not, but she could decide then and there that she was going to actually let him cheer her up instead of sinking into oblivion. She decided that this was the last time. This was the last hit. This was the last time she'd clean blood from her clothes and hands. The last time she'd break her violin because of some emotional circumstance. The last time she'd hurt anyone. The last time she'd betray her family. She found herself smiling in spite of what she'd done, just thinking about how she could change if she just tried hard enough. She could do this.
