Alternates alike must unite to fight,
A warning comes in a friend turned traitor,
When the hour of your need never was greater
One who is loved will turn to gold
When one who was lost returns to the fold
A hero's sacrifice brings peace to the field
And decides for Olympus: stand or yield.
Summer 2018. July.
The gods are on edge.
A new prophecy has been spoken. A prophecy that threatens to dismantle everything the gods have set up if it is not fulfilled. Where the fate of the world rests on the shoulders of demi-gods - a race of beings who have been largely ignored by their godly parents. Children who are impressionable, whose youth and lack of experience make them open and extremely vulnerable to the voices of monsters from Tartarus and the legions of Kronos, Lord of the Titans.
With their limited experiences with the gods and temptation all around them, will the demigods be able to overcome adversity and do what it takes to save Olympus? Or will they turn the tide and watch the world burn in order to rise in power with the Titans?

[*]The Big Three never made a pact.
[*]The Gods have started claiming their children, this summer, at camp.
Certain canons who were aged 10-13 in the book are being bumped up to be at least sixteen here. (And Thalia was never turned into a tree. She survived at camp.)
