Raphael took a step into the cave he had marked first and continue walking. his eyes narrowed and searching everything. he was a great hunter his sight from his mother made him one of the best but he wouldnt have known where to go without Artemis's help. he frowned at the thought.

he had left without saying goodbye to anyone and around the same time Uriel and the others left for theirs. if anyone were to get killed here it was only going to be him. he had to do this. he rubbed his ring and ektelesi belos formed in his hands. this whole time he had trapped the Minotaur he thought that killed her. he had gone in full rage against it only leaving small cuts on it. he had lost count how many times he cut the creature but by the time he was out of energy the beast definitely was done moving.

he knew it would take it a thousand years just to blink once and it made him feel better. he bit his lower lip and his breathing quickened as the same rage came back to him. the true creature had gotten away and he had established the torment he hated so much on the wrong monster. his grip tightened on the handles of the scythe-like weapons as he heard footsteps moving towards him. he tilted his head to look around a corner. "whose there?"

Xenos stepped into Raph's sight. "Hello, old friend. How have you been?" The child of the night looked around the cave as Raphael glared at him.

Raphael gripped his weapons and spat words at the child of the night. "what do you want, traitor? and dont make some snide remark to me." he raised one of the kamas. "its not night and i have always been better with a blade." he glared at him and the silver strand of hair shined in the dark cave. he took a deep breath and started scanning the man with his eyes.

Xenos was the most unreadable man Raphael had ever met. "I thought you wanted me to tell you what I knew about your snake, but I guess not." Xenos turned around to leave. He was almost gone when he heard Raphael's shout for him to wait. "So, you changed your mind. Good." The child of the night looked at his old friend. "It wasn't the snake that killed her."

his glare disappeared. "WAIT!" he still couldnt read this man and he was one of three people. one was dead. his old friend and trainer, Vladimir. his ex-friend and now traitor Xenos. and his girlfriend, Artemis. he was tempted to stab his own leg right then and there. "tell me."

"I'm not certain who killed her, but I know how you can find out." Xenos grinned at Raphael. "Also I think you should have someone go with you when you go to find out." He turned around. "Find Agias in Las Vegas. He's a seer from the ancient times. He should be able to help you. Be careful though, he was a Spartan in the old days, so he may attack you before giving anything up."

he raised an eyebrow at the man. "why are you helping me?" he stared at the man and realized it before he spoke. they were almost in the same position. he was just trying to help her out of the coma before something like Raphael being unable to help shanna. "nevermind." he spoke before the man answered. he kept his weapons out in case he was attacked though. then he realized what the man said. "so she was killed by someone....the amphisbaena didnt do it." the rage grew more. he was gonna hunt down this person and find a worse punishment than the minotaurs.

"It looks like you don't need me anymore." Xenos said. He turned around and said, "good bye." The child of the night shadow traveled away. Raphael knew he wouldn't see Xenos again.
