Preperations

[Marius Rodomonte]

Marius chuckled as he got ready for his next prank. He was making pitfalls on the beach. He had a shovel and several buckets, so he could move the sand out of the way, or maybe find another use for it. His eyes sparkled with mischief as he thought about what would happen. The pitfalls were only about hip deep, so that no one would get hurt. Though the traps were rigged to collapsed in on themselves when triggered, so people had to dig themselves out to move. There were fifteen traps in total. The son of Hermes finished rigging the last trap just as someone arrived. All the traps were covered but he didn't have his mask on him, so he didn't want anyone falling into them yet. "Hey, who are you?" He said to the person walking up to him.

Artemis was walking on to the beach, hoping to get some surfing done but saw some kid looking at the sand and looking a little.... Evil? She sighed and walked over, him noticing her "I'm Artemis. Are you okay you look a little lost or something." she said and stuck her surf board in the ground and raised a eyebrow at him "and who are you?"

"I'm fine." Marius grinned at her. He walked over to stand in front of her. "My name's Marius, and this is a nice surfboard you have." He held the surfboard in front of him. Artemis didn't notice he had reached to grab it. Shogun ran from a nearby tree and leapt onto his shoulder, studying the surfboard also. "And this is Shogun." He said with a laugh.

Artemis looked at the monkey and chuckled a little "Nice monkey.." she said hen raised a eyebrow and looked at him "Are you that new Hermes kid cause for some reason they like to have pet monkeys." she said and looked of at the water. So. Tempting. Yet she wanted to be nice.

Marius chuckled at the fact she still hadn't noticed he had her surfboard. "Yeah, I'm the new Hermes kid." He gave her a questioning look, "and what cabin are you from?" The son of Hermes looked around. "Also a piece of advice, Don't walk over that way." Marius started to walk off the surfboard still in his hands.

Arteries smirked and nodded "Cool." she said and notices he had her board and held out her hand "And I'm from ares cabin and I think you should give me that back before you get your butt kicked." she said and motioned wih her hand to him to give her the board.

Marius looked down at the surfboard in his hands. "Oh, all right." He reluctantly handed her back the surfboard. Shogun grinned at her. Marius laughed as the monkey jumped from his shoulder to hers. "He seems to like you."

[dawn]

Artemis jumped a little when the monkey jumped on her. "Ya.. Ya so much fun. Wooh. Please get him off." she said very sarcastic till the last sentence. She didn't like monkey, evil little thens. And so are the Hermes cabin. She kept a tight grip on hHer surfboard and waited for him to remove the monkey for the shoulder.

"Shogun, come on, boy." Marius gestured at the monkey, waiting for him to hop off. Shogun blew a raspberry at the son of Hermes, and moved away from him. The monkey was hanging off Artemis' shoulder now. "Don't be like that, come on." Marius glared at Shogun who was peeking out from behind her shoulder.
