"Nice is easy, but good is hard." Accalia said firmly, "It's so easy to be a traitor these days I can see how people would rather be evil and live for a little longer than be good and die a lot...sooner..." She realized that she was starting to get slightly depressed and she decided to make the conversation end. She stood up and smiled, holding her hand out to Emma, "Come on. I say we get off the ground and get moving. Exercise is the best thing for sadness!" She said with a little too much perkiness. She shrugged, "I mean it'd be better than talking about how sad it is to have evil boyfriends."

It was nice too laugh. It was very nice to laugh. Laughing seemed like such a ordinary thing before and now it was like some kind of sanctuary, a hope, a wonderful refuge that only the lucky or blessed were able to experience. Accalia never counted herself among the lucky but for this moment she was, she was one of them with this stranger who she was able to share an experience with. "Let's just say they are equally as bad and call the case closed." Accalia said as her laughter started to die down, but she wasn't disappointed. She was okay with it.
Accalia nodded, "Well, Princess isn't really..." Accalia smiled, "anything like you. So he obviously wasn't for you at all if he went for someone like her. She is completely crazy I think." Accalia admitted. She didn't like to say bad things about other people but if they were hurting others she didn't really see the point in holding her tongue.

Accalia nodded slowly. Same old John, the model. Saying his cheesy model comments, and talking about fashion week. Accalia tried her best not to laugh out loud at him. "Well, i'm glad you're back. Your father must be happy that you are here, safe and sound." She said, with a sincere smile on her face. "Nice to see you're doing nice as well." She said as she started to lean down a little, bringing her gaze to where his face was. "Over here." She muttered awkwardly.
She laughed as he pushed Frederick away who started to run away in an opposite direction and she followed him with her gaze, turning back to John quickly. "I'm not going to say he isn't overly friendly..." She raised her eyebrows, not sure where to take the conversation next. She hadn't really talked to guys much, especially not guys like John.

As he took his sunglasses off Accalia kept her eyes firmly on his. Though his chest gleaming in the sun was tempting, she didn't want to get caught looking at it. She put her hands on her hips, "Well, well well, look at you settling down for a little while at least." She laughed, the bright green flower in her hair bloomed brilliantly, almost embarrassingly. She hadn't been laughing for a long time, and it felt great. "I'm doing fine thanks. Just running my dog around as usual." Almost on cue Frederick ran up to great them, stopping and turning to John in a sudden act of calm, then he ran forth to start sniffing the boy. "Don't mind him. He doesn't bite..." Accalia muttered.

Accalia flipped around to see a familiar but surprising face strutting towards her. "Oh my Gods, John?" She stood up quickly. Suddenly embarrassed about her dark green bikini that she adorned at that moment. He walked away from her black towel, used to attract the sun, and walked towards him slowly. So charming. So suave. So... John. She couldn't help but find him attractive. Even though he happily was with her sister for quite some time, she still knew that he was a good looking guy. Can't ignore that. This was possible her best opportunity in going numb-but no. She couldn't. "How are you?" She asked.

Accalia didn't spend much of her time on the beach, but her dog, Frederick, was getting sickeningly restless being locked up in the cabin or at the arena, and she knew that she had to take him out. As Frederick ran around on the Oceans edge, beaming at her every now and then, Accalia felt her feet twitching. She had recently seen Harper on her last visit, right before Jacob left, and it got her to thinking. What was Accalia doing at camp? Why wasn't she out there living life, like her most beloved sister? Accalia found it hard to concentrate. Jacob, Jacob, Jacob. He was long gone and Accalia wasn't even sure the relationship was even there at the end. He was so worried about his poor suffering puppy and his suffering cabin members that she became a mere shoulder, and occasionally a serious/romantic moment would flutter but they didn't last long. She clenched her fists. Enough about that.

"I wish that one would go away. The monsters or the boys...." Accalia started to laugh and a real smile started to build on her face, "I can't decide which one I want to leave more!" She laughed again, finding life ironic and funny. As it always has been. Accalia nodded slowly as Emma asked her question, "About four months I guess, so not too long." luckily, Accalia thought. it was enough having loved her father so well and for so long and for him having gone missing. She shook off the thought, there wasn't much else that she wanted in life than to find her father. Maybe she should just ditch camp anyway, "Anyway, what about you?" Accalia inquired of the boy mentioned earlier.

Accalia nodded slowly, "You're right. Sometimes I wish that I wasn't ever in a relationship." She sat up straighter and furrowed her eyebrows, a thought having just occurred to her. "Do you know what is silly? We are training to fight for our lives, most of our mortal parents are either dead, missing, or don't want us. Not to mention our Godly parents are...well..." She looked up at the sky with a slight glare in her eyes, then turned back to Emma. "Anyway, all of this is going on-and we get choked up over boy issues. You'd think we could handle minor things like that..." She knew now that he was just trying to make excuses when it came to her relationship ending. Not too mention the awkwardness of her relationship with a son of Aphrodite that ended several years ago. She sighed, "Yeah. If only boys were girls." she said, returning to the present.

"No, no." Accalia shook her head, "Your situation is much worse. Jacob maybe still liked me... but long distance isn't worth it. I'm sure he was just uncomfortable with the situ-" Something caught in her throat, a sob or a frog, she didn't know. She clasped her hand tighter on Impli, her trustworthy bow, then laughed at Emmas next comment. "I agree! I feel like girls are much more willing to go on dates than boys you know," she started "and they wouldn't ditch you as easily either-I feel like they should be more emotional." She shrugged. She had never seriously thought about the idea before, it just made her laugh again.

"That's nice of you," Accalia smiled, "Might as well pretend that our parents aren't all their cracked up to be. Good and bad." She reached her hand up to tuck her hair behind her ear, a dead flower falling out of it, she groaned and just shook her head, several more fall white flowers falling out.
She grimaced, "Yikes, that Princess girl is unpleasant." Accalia shook her head in disgust, "Well, i'm sure you'll get something better sooner or later. Somebody better." She tried to smile encouragingly but it probably came out like a half smile half grimace.
"Oh," Accalia started, "Well, he's a little bit older than me and has decided to leave camp." She said quickly, not wanting to think too hard about it, "The break up wasn't too bad, he just didn't look me in the eye or anything..." She shrugged.

"I guess i'm not as melodramatic as my mother, in fact i'm rather the opposite." She said with a smile. She never really felt anything bad against Demeter, in fact she thought the whole idea of being mother oh wheat and whatnot was pretty cool. It suited Accalia well enough.
Accalia eyebrows raised and her jaw dropped in shock, "Wow, sounds like a real tool." She said firmly, "Who was it, if you don't mind me asking? I've met plenty of jerks and a few bad guys around here..." her mind crossed over Xenos and how she wanted to rip his spleen out for getting his sister to the dark side. "Luckily I haven't dated any of them yet."

Accalia chuckled, guess she was right about the girl being a daughter of Athena. Which, isn't a bad assumption considering most children of Athena are rather nice people. As far as Accalia was considered. "I fit my stereotype too. Considering..." she pointed into her hair where there were little white flowers intertwined. Although, her flowers were a little more wilted than usual considering her mood as of late. "Demeter." She said simply.
"Well, I guess I just..." She shrugged and gestured to the grass beside the arena, "Shall we sit?" She slung her bow over her shoulder and headed towards the grass sitting on it. "My uh... ex boyfriend problems." She said quietly.

Accalia let out a laugh, "Oh, so you're an Athena daughter, aren't you?" Accalia guessed. Unless there was something other group that liked spurting out facts. "I shouldn't stereotype." She apologized raising her hands in the air apologetically, truthfully it was easy to stereotype people by their Godly parents. But, Accalia didn't want to come across as being rude. She stepped closer to Emma and held out her hand, "I'm Accalia Phillips, by the way." She said with a sweet smile, though the bitterness in her eyes did not disappear.

Accalia just shook her head, "Yeah... a lot of... dumb things," she said with a sigh shaking her head, "It's nothing." Accalia wasn't sure why, but this girl seemed to have a sort of understanding in her eyes, maybe she was a daughter of the God of empathy or something. Accalia shrugged and looked back at her, forcing a small smile. "Everything is okay. Everyone is okay." She said quickly. She wasn't sure best how to convey her feelings without spilling her heart out to this girl. She didn't want to ruin her day or anything by making a long dramatic story about her boyfriend-ex boyfriend-leaving. Just up and leaving. She groaned under he breath and turned away, "Just out shooting to blow off steam, I guess."

"What the hell!?" Accalia called out loudly as she turned to face the girl. She didn't actually look like she was trying to make fun. In fact, she looked pretty calm in her comment. She was just sharing knowledge, knowledge. Accalia breathed deeply and nodded slowly, "I know, I just have a lot of... things." She muttered. She didn't want to burden this girl with her problems. But didn't the girl start the conversation in the first place? Maybe she herself needed to talk about something. Maybe Accalia was going to be someones shoulder to cry on. Accalia was almost jealous, she never was good at asking for a shoulder.
Accalia forced a smile, "I'm sorry I blew up." She said calmer than before.
