Harper smiled widely. It was Adam and he came bearing gifts of the alcoholic kind. She walked a little faster towards Adam down the amphitheater. Harper liked Adam. He was one of the ones she would occasionally hang out with when they were both at camp. And she might've made out with him before. Or maybe she didn't. She honestly couldn't remember, but she was glad Adam was back. He'd been gone quite a long while.
As she got closer, she noticed his animal companion. "Well hello there, Argos," she said as she greeted the dog. She stepped over to it to give it a pat before she took the new bottle from Adam's hand as she sat down beside him. "It's great to have you back," she said with a smirk as she opened up her beer. She took a sip before she chuckled at his comment. "Fuck, Adam, where do I begin?" she asked as she shook her head. "It's probably a good thing you were out doing... who knows what... because camp here has been through some shit." She looked down at her bottle before looking up into the amphitheater where she saw that they were not alone.
"Oi!" Harper yelled out to the boy as she held her bottle in the air. "You want to join us for one?"

We have updated the rules. As of today (8/5/17), we expect you to abide by them. Camp Half-Blood has seen many things since Percy Jackson and his friends left camp over 50 years ago. First, there was a great Minotaur attack that almost demolished the camp along with mini monster attacks happening.
Then, Primordial children became the enemy. They were being attacked at camp and the gods did not feel like it was safe for their children, so they launched a full out war on the camp. Things only ended after a Kraken took several lives as it attacked camp.
Little did the Primordials know that there was a second force behind everything. A group calling themselves the Usurpers wanted to overthrow the gods and bring in an era of a godless world. They attacked at a masquerade and laid in waiting until their big and final attack: another Kraken.
However, this Kraken attack was different from the first. Their sister camp that they had forgotten over the ages, Camp Jupiter, was also being attacked by a Kraken. The Usurper movement died, but the chaos was already done. Camp Half-Blood is sending out a quest and Camp Jupiter is sending out a scouting party. However, both camps believe that the Kraken was sent from the other, so now this is now on the brink of war.
It’s Roman vs Greek. Demigod vs Demigod. Who will be victorious and who will fall to their brethren? |

Harper was really confused. She was seeing some guys around camp that somehow up and disappeared on her, which made her sad. Then she was dealing with Cody, who wasn't really Cody, but it was an evil Cody instead. Plus, her sister Accalia left camp in a serious attempt to find her father. So she was confused all over sorts of things and she just needed to clear her mind. Usually, a good make out session would do the trick, but since she didn't have anyone readily available, she decided to go on a walk. That was supposed to clear minds, right?
So a walk around camp, but she couldn't shake the thoughts that plagued her. Honestly, it was quicker to just make out with someone than actually stroll around camp. However, she passed by the amphitheater, but paused as she saw someone there. And not just anyone. This person looked familiar, but older. Did he really come back to camp? "Adam?" she asked loud enough for him to hear as she made her way down the amphitheater towards him.

She was stupid. She was wrong. And she completely understood if Cody never wanted to see her again. Even if this Cody was different than the Cody she used to know. And this Cody was mean. And harsh. The old Cody would never say these words to her, but it didn't mean the words didn't sting. She physically cringed as he talked to her. Sweet cheeks? Was she just a piece of ass to him now? She glanced up from her lap at him and notice the darkness in his face that she missed the last few times. But she could also see the good in him. The old Cody had to be in there somewhere, right?
"I'm not leaving you alone," she said as she wiped more tears away from her face as she sat up straight. If he was going to be harsh to her, she could be harsh right back. "In case you couldn't tell, you're not in the greatest position right now and I know there are so many people out there who would like to tear you to shreds." Her eyes narrowed as she looked at him. "So maybe I'm wasting my time, but you're not a lost cause that you're making yourself out to be. I can still see the old Cody in you."

Silence. Her question was met with silence. Did he not care anymore? Did going through hell and back ruin him? Ruin the Cody she used to know. The tears streamed down her face as she reached up to wipe them away. It was very clear that this Cody and the Cody she remembered were two completely different people and she shouldn't waste her time. But yet, there was still a part of her that held on. That hoped that the old Cody would come back. She should've turned away and walked right out and she was going to until she heard his voice.
Why? Well why not? She turned to look at him only to be met with dead eyes. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me. Harper wished that saying applied to her at this moment, but it didn't. Her breathing hitched as the tears only seemed to come in force as she shook her head. "It wasn't like that... It never was." She reached up to swipe at her cheeks, but it seemed to be a losing effort. "You weren't there for me. Nobody was there for me. He was there for me, but now..." She choked back a sob as she thought of the final words Xenos had said to her when they ended their engagement. But she was going to stand her ground for the most part. She couldn't leave Cody alone like she was all those months ago.
She sat down in a chair right next to his bed as she folded her hands in her lap and looked down at him. "I was never bored with you," she whispered as she sniffled a bit. "I always cared for you... hell, I've always loved you, but back then..." She sighed as she shook her head as she continued whispering, "I was stupid. I was wrong. And I understand why you never want to see me again. I'm sorry."

The rumors were swirling around camp, but they weren't really rumors if all of it was true. Cody came back to camp. Cody brought the Kraken back to camp. Cody left, presumably dead, but now he was back again and he was in the infirmary. And Harper had to go see him. Not because of these feelings that were swirling around inside of her, but she felt like she was the only one who truly understood what Cody was going through. To come back to camp as one of the most hated campers around. She had to see him. He couldn't feel alone like she felt for so long.
So she went to the infirmary after she talked herself in and out of the idea several times. But once her feet were moving towards the infirmary, there was no turning back. She arrived and managed to talk the Apollo kids working into letting her see him. It was kind of a perk when your best friend was the leader of their cabin. But she was finally allowed to see him. She paused right outside of his room. She crossed her arms as she got a glance at him. He looked like he'd been through hell and back, probably because he actually did go through hell and back. She took a deep breath as she took a step into his room to announce her presence.
"It's kind of funny, isn't it?" she said calmly as she felt her heart beating in her chest as she felt the tears prickling in her eyes as she walked towards him. "You die to a Kraken, only to come back alive and bring the Kraken back to camp?" She paused as she stopped by his bedside and looked down at him. Even though he went through hell, he still looked as perfect as the day she met him. She couldn't fight back the tears anymore as a couple streaked down her cheek before she whispered, "Why?"

Harper wasn't imaging things. There was a Dawn right there in front of here and the proof was there as she was engulfed into a big hug. Dawn's hugs. It was a long time and she missed them so much. Harper squeezed her sister back as she savored the moment. Gods, things were starting to feel slightly normal around here. She pulled away slightly just as Dawn decided to ramble in one big breath. She chuckled a bit as she squeezed her sister. "Yup. I'm back. And I'm so glad you're back too." She smiled to herself as she pulled away again to give her sister a good once over. "Everyone said you went back to live with your dad, but I have a feeling that's not all that happened?"

Harper didn't have anything better to do that day than to lay on her bed and stare up at the ceiling. It wasn't like she was getting asked out on dates like the first two times she arrived at camp and nobody really wanted to hang out with her since the betrayal still stung the camp. Hades, she rarely got to see her siblings as well because they had more of a social life than she did at the moment. So she laid on her bed staring up at her ceiling just wondering where her life went wrong.
However, she didn't get to think for long since a blast from the past walked through the cabin door. Harper hadn't heard that voice in a very long time. Not before she ran away from camp the last time. She immediately sat up as she looked towards the door. She looked like the girl from her memories, but she was older. Was her mind playing tricks on her in her boredom? "Dawn?" she asked as she slowly got up from the bed.
