Audrey glared at the boy as he stood up to face her. She had half a mind to kill him like he killed her deer right then and there, but no. He looked like someone would miss him at camp. And that would to search parties and the eventual discovery of his body. No, Audrey didn't need her intentions or her group found out. Not this early in the game.
She reached down to hover her hand near the dagger that was by her waist as she raised her eyebrows at the boy as she got into his personal space. "Oh," she said as straightened up to size up the boy. "I was about to kill it when you did. I didn't know I had to call dibs in order to make sure it was my kill." An evil smirk crept onto her face as she leaned in to get her face closer to his. "So dibs."

It was late and Audrey was in a tree. Not that she was stuck in said tree, but she was waiting for some creature to pass by so she could kill it. Ever since she got Gideon's blood on her hands, she had this insatiable want to do more. She wanted to take more life from this world with her bare hands. It was addicting. She wanted, no, needed more. She had her bow and arrow strapped onto her back, but she hand her knives strapped all over her even if it didn't appear like it. Her eyes narrowed once she heard rustling and movement in the distance. A deer appeared into the clearing right below Audrey. She pulled out one of her knives and was about ready to aim for its heart when it dropped dead onto the ground. Audrey knit her eyebrows together before she noticed that an arrow sticking out of the deer. She shot her head up and glared once she noticed another person walking up to it. She strapped her knife back on before she dropped out of the tree. "You just shot my deer," she snapped once she landed on the ground and straightened up. Audrey smiled as she caught the hint of excitement in Freedom's voice. Maybe there would be something good from this something they kept hinting at, but Audrey was just excited about the possibility of seeing this girl more. There was just something about her that caused Audrey to want to get to know her better.
"No," Audrey said as she reached up to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear. "I would really love to see them." She smiled as she shrugged a bit. But then there was plans for tomorrow and Audrey had to scrunch her eyebrows in concentration as she tried to remember her cabin's schedule. "I think we have morning training in the arena, but then I'm free all afternoon." She unscrunched her face before she glanced over at the clock hanging in the mess hall. She swore underneath her breath as she realized she was late for a meeting. "I'm so sorry," she said as she quickly began to gather her trash and stand up. "But I'm late for something, but I'll see you tomorrow afternoon, okay?" She gave an apologetic smile to Freedom before she threw away her trash and quickly left the mess hall.

Audrey smirked at the something part. She could only imagine what those somethings would include. She hoped that her mind was on the same track as Freedom's, but at the same time, Audrey wasn't sure if she was reading the signs wrong or if she was throwing herself onto the Heracles girl. At this rate, taking over the world seemed much easier in comparison.
Audrey smiled softly at Freedom as she started playing with her fingers, trying not to start onto her nervous habit of ripping off her fingernails. "I would really like to see it," she said as she smirked slightly. "It would be pretty cool to see what you like to draw or whatever." She shrugged her shoulders a bit. "Plus it would give me an excuse to see you again for that something," she chuckled a bit as her voice took on a playful tone.

Audrey shrugged her shoulders before she clasped her hands in front of her and rested them on the table. "It's been about... what... 13 years or so since I last got arrested? I think I finally got out of that rebellion phase everyone kept talking about." She chuckled to herself as she shook her head. "So I wouldn't worry too much if I was you, unless you tempt me to break the law." She threw a wink at Freedom before she smirked.
She raised her eyebrows as she notice that Freedom looked... a bit shy at the mention of her artwork. Did Audrey push her too far with the flirting? She was truly interested, but if Freedom felt uncomfortable... She smiled softly at her at the mention of hanging out in her cabin. "I would like that... if you don't mind," she quickly added, not wanting Freedom to feel pressured into it. "I like hanging out or something." She shrugged her shoulders again.

"Hey," Audrey said with a slight smile. "We have fighting things in common... and maybe potentially trouble making... I was on a first name basis with the police officers back in my hometown before I discovered camp... I would like to think that I've kept my nose clean since I've come to camp, but it's at least cleaner than back home." She knew her nose was clean, but she knew she had bloodstained hands. But that didn't matter for now. It wasn't something Freedom had to know now... or ever.
Audrey raised her eyebrows. "You designed your own tattoos?" she asked, clearly impressed by the girl's talent if she was willing to ink it onto her skin. "Now I have to see these tats... have you designed any tattoos for someone else?" She leaned back in towards Freedom as she looked her in the eyes. "Can I see your drawings sometime? They have to be good if they're on your body."

"I hope things turn out well," she said with a slight chuckle. "Because I do want to see what kind of tattoos you've decided to get. It can tell something about a person you know?" She smirked a bit as she imagined what kind of tattoos were there. Audrey knew she wouldn't be disappointed either way.
"Well..." Audrey said as she tried to think. What hobbies did she have besides leading the Usurpers and trying to overthrow the gods? "Well..." she repeated again. "I like knitting and listening to rock music. And biking... if I could ever find one around here." She shrugged her shoulders as she leaned back a little bit. "What about you? Any interesting hobbies?"

Audrey couldn’t believe that Freedom just flirted with her bluntly. Not like the two had been flirting… or what Audrey considered as flirting. But to have it this straightforward… Audrey knew she had to be in the clear. She chuckled slightly as a mischievous smile crept onto her face. “Oh, I will ask nicely. Pretty please and all.” She winked again at Freedom as well. She shifted in her spot so she was leaning over the table and a bit closer to Freedom.
“Well…” she said as she let the word drag on a little longer than what it should’ve been. “I guess this cute hunter girl met a pretty cute one herself, so I guess we both win, don’t you think?”

Audrey raised her eyebrows at the mention of tattoos. Piercings she could see and Audrey did have her fair share of them, but tattoos? Audrey smirked a bit as she leaned in closer to Freedom. "If you have any, I think you need to show me sometime." She winked at the girl before she sat up straight again.
Audrey laughed as she shrugged her shoulders a bit. "I guess a little bit of both, honestly." She laughed a bit before she shook her head. "I guess... I don't know... I haven't seen anyone who can split a punching bag with their bare hands, so I guess I just had to meet them and possibly get to know them. And I guess I'm really glad that it was you who did it."

Well... this was awkward and Audrey didn't know if she blew her chance or not. Was she really that rusty that she led a girl here on false pretenses? Dear gods, this whole getting to know you before potentially dating thing was hard. This made Audrey's taking over the world and overthrowing the gods plan seem like a piece of cake.
Audrey gave Freedom a sheepish smile as she was thanked for the invitation. She reached up to tuck a strand of her hair behind her ear as she blushed a bit. "So I guess we're both a bit rusty at this?" she asked as she chuckled a bit. She pressed her lips together as Freedom suggested that they started over. Audrey slowly nodded her head. "Yeah, I think that sounds good. Stating over sounds good."
She laughed a bit as she shrugged her shoulders. "Well, I'm Audrey. Daughter of Ares and Hunter of Artemis. I like French fries when they taste good and stabbing things with my knives."

Audrey chuckled a bit as she shook her head. She suggested food because it sounded good at the moment and thought Freedom could use something, but now she was seeing it was just an excuse to spend more time with each other. Audrey didn't mind that at all. She smiled a bit at Freedom as she pushed her fries off to the side, deciding that they weren't sounding or tasting that good right there and then.
But she was caught off guard when Freedom asked if she was mad. "Mad?" she asked a bit confused. "Why would I be..." Then she realized what she was getting at and she shook her head vigorously to make her point. "No, no. I'm not mad. Food was just an excuse to be with you longer." She sighed as she reached out to push her hair out of her face. "Sorry. I'm pretty rusty at this. It's been a while since I've found someone I want to get to know better. Maybe food wasn't the best suggestion. It might be borderline cliche to be honest."

Audrey chuckled as she looked up from her fries at Freedom. She picked something simple, just as it looked liked Freedom did, but those damn nerves of hers. She had to remind herself that this wasn't a date... well... not technically... they were just grabbing food. Food that Audrey could barely find herself wanting to eat. She shook her head at Freedom's question.
"Nah, I guess I was waiting for you to come by." She smiled a bit before she finally took a bite of her fries. They didn't taste as good as they usually do, but Audrey blamed it on the nerves. Stupid, stupid nerves. She raised her eyebrows a bit as she nodded her head towards Freedom's apple. "I'm guessing we're both not really hungry?"

Audrey still couldn't believe that Freedom agreed to grab food with her in the mess hall. When was the last time Audrey had been on a.... was this even considered a date? It was probably more just hanging out and getting to know each other, which was okay by Audrey. On the way over, there was small talk between the girls and Audrey confirmed that she had a crush on Freedom. Now when was the last time she crushed on somebody? It had to be a good long while, so this was a nice change for the huntress. They made their way to the mess hall and Audrey grabbed her food and sat down at a table waiting for Freedom. Audrey quickly found out that she wasn't that hungry because of her nerves and ended up picking at her food until her friend arrived. Audrey stood there and bit her lower lip waiting for Freedom's response. Her nerves were on edge. She never was this nervous around her ex, but why now with Freedom? They were at the fork in the road that lead to the cabins and she could see Freedom wanting to rest or get cleaned up after the workout she had. She only hoped that she would be able to spend more time with this daughter of Heracles.
Audrey let out a breath she didn't realize she was holding in as she smiled at Freedom. "I would like to think of myself as good company. I know how it is to eat alone or with bad company," she chuckled a bit as she nodded towards the mess hall. "So shall we get going then?"

"Yeah... I know," Audrey said as she turned her head to Freedom and gave her a wink. "I think I'll find that something... or someone sooner rather than later." She chuckled to herself as she stuck her hands into the pockets of her pants. This was much different than when she was flirting with her ex. Audrey had to make bold moves to see if she was interested, but this? This was different. Freedom was flirting back or at least Audrey hoped she was flirting back. She was giving off all the right signals.
"It can be really boring," she said with a bit of a shrug before an idea hit her. She slowed down to a pause as she looked at Freedom. "Do you want to grab some food or something? You'd probably need it after beating up that punching bag back there."
