"Oh, I am pretty experienced alright," she chuckled as she smirked a bit. She glanced over at Freedom and gave her a half smirk, half smile. She didn't believe in love at first sight, but maybe this was crush at first sight? Whatever it was, she really liked it. She had to really smile. She was seeing a completely different side of Freedom in the short time of knowing her and she really liked it.
"Oh, they don't keep me too busy," she said with a bit of a chuckle. "I definitely enjoy other activities, but I haven't found anything to keep me free time, ya know?" She sighed as she shook her head. "I do enjoy my breaks, but I like to keep occupied too, ya know?"

Eternal youth doesn't really sound all that appealing to me but if you like it... Audrey let out another sigh of relief. So Freedom wasn't interested in joining the hunters. That was so very good. It seemed like a very close call for Audrey, but now things were looking good. Maybe if things were looking up like they were now, Audrey wouldn't have to be alone for long.
Audrey let out a laugh at Freedom's question before she shook her head. "Nah, I'm not that old. Not quite yet. I only joined the hunters about teh years ago. So I think that puts me around... twenty-six now? I don't remember. I've stopped remembering how old I should be after a couple of years. For all I care, every year is my sixteenth birthday. Too bad I haven't gotten a car or something similar on my birthdays to celebrate it."

"Yeah," Audrey said as she slowly nodded her head. "I completely understand that. It puts everything on the line instead of doing it for practice." Maybe that's why the fight with Gideon gave her the biggest rush of her life. And she wanted more, but she had to be careful now. She couldn't have campers missing left and right. People would grow suspicious. So she had to wait, but if she had someone like Freedom with her during her wait, things might not be so bad.
She looked over at Freedom and smiled. Yeah, waiting with her around wouldn't be so hard. Or at least she hoped not. But then Freedom asked about the Hunters. Audrey raised her eyebrows at the girl. Was she really thinking about joining their sisterhood? That would ruin a lot of things for her. So she decided to be honest and maybe that would deter Freedom away from it. She shrugged before saying, "It's alright. I mean, the immortal until death in battle thing is kinda nice, but it beats growing old, plus I get to kill a lot monsters."

Audrey smirked when Freedom said she wasn't in the heartbreaking business. That was a good sign. A very good sign, especially since she was flirting back and not turning her down. And it helped that the girl was very cute. "Well," Audrey chuckled a bit. "I'm glad you're breaking those monsters. Someone has to do it. And I don't know if they're doing books on you. They might as well with how you punched it to death."
I'm a daughter of Heracles. That lifted a big worry off of Audrey's shoulders. She wasn't flirting with a sibling. Heracles. Funny that Audrey would be attracted to one. "I'm a daughter of Ares, but I gave my vows to Artemis about ten years ago." She shrugged a bit. "So I should be good at archery, but I rather use my knives since it's more familiar."

Audrey chuckled to herself as she kept walking alongside the girl. "What kind of things? Are we talking broken bones or worse like broken hearts?" She was completely different than her last girlfriend. Her ex, Princess, was completely insecure and unsure of herself. Hades, Audrey had to murder Pri's ex in order to get the girl some level of sanity, but it was all for nothing. Audrey told her to leave camp before things got worse. Thank gods she listened for once. But this girl right next to her... Freedom was her name... a very pretty name... she was different than her ex. This was a refreshing change.
"Oh, I know that Chiron must be keeping tabs somewhere," she said with a brief laugh. "And I'm pretty sure the Hermes cabin have a gambling pool going on with how long it'll take for me to destroy the next dummy." She smiled as she looked over at Freedom. "I prefer knives," Audrey said with a bit of a shrug. "Usually throwing and stabbing, but I prefer the stabbing. It seems to get the job done quicker and faster."

Once Audrey got close enough to the girl, she took a moment to study her. She was... she was very attractive in Audrey's book. She hadn't seen her around camp before and Audrey had the slight hope that this girl didn't belong to the Ares cabin. That would make this day go sour, since she couldn't think of a sibling like that. But she still had that twinge of hope.
Audrey raised her eyebrows as she looked at the girl. She was being modest and Audrey couldn't help but smile slightly at it. It was kind of cute. She knew this girl was powerful, but she wasn't going to boast about it. That was something... admirable to Audrey. She chuckled a bit before saying, "I don't know. I've been here for ten years and I've never seen anyone split it open with their bare hands. And I know those things are tough."
She chuckled to herself again as the girl asked her a question. She knew it was supposed to be a joke, even if that's not how the girl delivered it. "Not against punching bags," Audrey said with a bit of a smirk as she glanced over at the girl. "I do have it out for the training dummies. I know Chiron has had to replace quite a few of them because of me. Well.. maybe than just a few." She gave a short laugh before she looked over at the girl. "I'm Audrey, by the way."

Audrey was in the arena working on her throwing knives. She was pretty focused on aiming her knives at this one particular dummy and getting it around where its heart would be, but Audrey couldn't help but notice that people were staring and it was not at her. She was used to the attention she commanded in the arena. She paused in her training to turn around and see what the commotion was about. It was a girl and a punching bag. It was nothing too amazing and Audrey almost turned away, but she noticed something about the girl. Maybe it was the way she looked or the amount of effort she put into her punches, but there was something that piqued Audrey's interest.
She couldn't help but stare. It was almost like she was transfixed, but this girl. But she was forced back into reality when she realized that the girl was walking away and sand was spilling out of the punching bag. Audrey had to move quickly. She left her knives in the dummy, which was such an odd thing for her to do, but she knew the others knew that if they touched them, they would die by her hands. Not like they knew someone already died by her hands.
But Audrey jogged after the girl and only slowed down to a walk when she was right next to her. "You know, I don't think I've ever seen someone split open punching bag with their bare hands before and I've been in camp a long time." She looked over at the girl with a slight smile. "That was quite impressive."

Freedom & Audrey Okay, gonna be real honest with you here, I wanted to throw Audrey at Free once I read her application. They're kinda like... polar opposites, but the same in a very odd and twisted way. I can see them maybe flirting. Idk if it'll grow into a real relationship (but I can also see Audrey trying to protect Free from the Usurpers while trying to run the Usurpers... drama). Plus, Aaron ships it. So reasons XD
Ash & Lucas So the Seven Year Old Terror of the Apollo Cabin has a bubby he can torment now *nods head*. And if Ash wants to teach Lucas to use big boy weapons like a bow and arrow... this sounds like a wonderful disaster in itself XD
Theo & Saphron They're pretty cool as siblings working together to cure a jackalope. Ya know, all in a normal day's work for them.
Theo & Hailey so there's a really good chance that once Hailey is human again, she might develop a crush on Theo. And it's perfectly okay if he returns the feelings or not because either way will be drama for her xD

Alrighty guys.... The admins (including myself) would like to get the ball rolling for the Usurper plot once again. To see how the Usurpers fit into the site and it's plot, please clicky here. But basically, they're a bunch of demigods who believe that the gods just idly stand by and watch when they should be intervening. This has caused a lot of bitterness and they've been blamed for a bunch of things. Now, the Usurpers believe their reign needs to end and the world would exist peacefully without them. So if you look at this and go "THAT'S TOTALLY SOMETHING I WANT TO DO!!!", then you need to know a few things: 1. The character can be pre-existing or brand new. They need to have a legitimate reason why they want to overthrow the gods. 2. THERE IS NO BLACKMAILING INTO THE USURPERS. No blackmailing. No saying your character was blackmailed into the group. They're doing it because they're a baddie and not because they were forced into it. 3. No joining the Usurpers because person/character A is doing it. That's similar to the blackmailing idea. Just no. If friends share the idea that they hate the gods, then it's okay to join. What's NOT okay is person A joins because they hate the gods and then person B joins because person A does. No. Be your own character. So if you're interested, please post below with a brief explanation of why your character would like to join and if you would like to be considered for a sleeper agent (a Usurper hiding at camp that won't act until the plot really gets rolling). We will PM those we pick for sleeper agents. |

Audrey thought she had a perfect poker face and she was using it as she looked blankly at Princess as she tried to convince her that she was fine and that a monster caused her injuries. Maybe she wasn't good as she usually was or Princess read her face better, but she couldn't hold up the charade. She cursed underneath her breath as Princess stepped away from her all hurt.
"I didn't want you to know," she muttered as she looked at Princess with concerned eyes as she stepped towards her. "I didn't want you to know. The camp might find out and try to exile me or worse..." She reached out to put hand on her girlfriend's shoulder as she took a deep breath. "You want to know why I was gone so long? I made sure he wouldn't come back to hurt you ever." Her eyes were serious as she searched hers. "But he's gone, for good, Pri. I made sure of it. That's what happened. He was just as bad as a monster."

The kiss ended too soon for Audrey's liking because of some jerk deciding to catcall and interrupt their moment. The jerked her head to glare at the boy trying to decide if he would be an excellent stabbing target or not. She got pulled out of her thoughts when Princess started talking. "I guess I should let you get back to work," she said with a bit of a smirk before she chuckled a bit more. "And I guess I need to practice with your new knives too. You could have rigged them or something." She smirked bigger as Pri kissed her nose. "I guess I'll see you around, okay?" She whispered before planting a kiss on Princess's cheek and got up to leave the forges.

Audrey chuckled to herself as that high was completely taking over her along with the ambrosia fixing her questionably broken. Her mind raced wondering who else should be on the other side of her knives. It was already sweet justice that Gideon was on the end of the knives that Pri personally made for her. She straightened up a bit as she heard someone open the cabin door and she relaxed a bit when she heard it was her girlfriend. She turned around as Pri stood by her side.
"I'm fine," Audrey said a bit as her voice cracked a bit. She coughed a bit to clear her throat, but that only irritated the ribs she might have fractured. She tried to hide her wince as she looked at her girlfriend. "I'm fine," she repeated with her voice a little stronger than before. "I'm going to be okay. I was... I was fighting a monster." That was a good way to describe that Ares boy, right?

If everything went to plan, then Gideon would be on the receiving end of her new knives. "Brag all you want," she chuckled before Pri kissed her again. She opened her eyes as she looked at her girlfriend. "Oh, trust me," she said with a cocky smirk. "I will do all the training with them, but I think I need more of these." She chuckled a bit as she leaned in to kiss Pri once more, but a little deeper than before.

I finally did it. Audrey thought to herself as she stumbled over to her cabin. I finally did it... Her clothes were torn and bloodied, but not with her own blood. A slight smirk crept onto her face as she approached her cabin, despite it hurting because her lower lip was busted. Gideon was gone and they were never going to find the body. Audrey didn't care. She won once and for all.
She kept her left arm close to her body as she finally made it to the porch of the Artemis cabin and entered. She already had a story in case someone was in there and saw her in her current state. She just finished fighting off a very tough monster and it was believable with her black eye, bloody nose, potential broken arm, and various bumps, cuts, and bruises. Fortunately, nobody was in the cabin, which meant Audrey could get rid of the evidence without any witnesses.
She hobbled over to the bathroom and gingerly stripped herself of the evidence before stuffing it deep down into the trash can. She stepped into the shower and scrubbed herself of the dried blood. It was a quick process before she got out of the shower and put on clean clothes. She hobbled over to one of her fellow hunter's side table and grabbed some ambrosia from the stash. As Audrey at it, she chuckled slightly as she started to feel a high. Now she understood why serial killers did what they did.
