Audrey had lost track of how she went before she got to sleep this well. It was probably at least a few weeks, maybe even months. She could barely sleep that well as a hunter, which was probably one of the reasons why Artemis granted her hunters immortality. Otherwise, they would probably die from sleep deprivation. The warm body next to her helped her stay in a deep sleep, even if Pri was slowly waking up.
The sun was up and Audrey scrunched her face up as she let out a small whimper of protest. She moved slightly only to fling her arm over Princess and pull her in closer to her. She muttered incoherently in her sleep as she nuzzled her face against the Hephaestus girl's hair. She took a deep breath and sighed before she tried to fall back into a deeper sleep.

Something simple as laying down next to another girl suddenly turned very awkward and Audrey had a feeling that she was the reason behind it. She adverted her eyes a bit as Pri moved to lay down next to her. She noticed how Pri was acting uncomfortable where they were. Audrey just closed her eyes and tried to relax. However, not-so-tamed thoughts about the girl next to her were running through her head. Those rapid thoughts were not letting her drift off to a nap like she wanted.
Audrey heard Pri mumble something and shift in her sleep. She turned her head and opened her eyes to make sure that the girl was okay, but smiled at what she saw. Pri look cute and comfortable asleep in that position. Thoughts ran through her head and she didn't stop one of them. She propped up onto her side facing Pri as she leaned in. She did glance at her lips before she leaned in to peck her on the forehead. She moved to lay back down on her side as she closed her eyes. A sense of calm washed over the girl and it wasn't long before sleep took her away as well.

Deep breaths, Audrey, deep breaths, she coached herself as she tried to get her cheeks to return to their normal color and her heart to stop pounding so much. She kept sneaking side glances to Pri, but that only made her more flustered. Get it together... you NEVER get flustered This was brand new territory for the hunter and she didn't know how to deal with it that well.
Audrey almost jumped again at Pri's question, but stopped as she forced herself to act calmly about the developing situation. "Um..." she muttered as she cursed herself for starting off like this. "Yeah... I don't mind... I probably need a nap too." She glanced over at the girl as she noticed the blush on her cheeks. Audrey gave her an encouraging smile as she let go of Pri slightly so she could move to lay down on the bed, making sure there was enough room for the other girl as well.

Audrey continued her deep breaths as she tried to will the color off of her face. This was not like her to get flustered because something had startled her. This was not her training prepared her for. Then again, what training prepared you for a crush on another girl? She frowned a bit as she watched Pri yawn. That however turned into a soft smile as the girl nuzzled into her neck again.
"I like being around you..." Audrey responded back before her blush appeared on her cheeks again. Stupid training not preparing her for this. She took deep breaths once more as she stroked Pri's hair some more. "I like your company too." She cursed herself. She swear she was making this more awkward than it needed to be. "Do you need to nap more?" she asked, trying to get her mind off of the current situation that was making her blush.

Audrey calmly looked at Princess as her eyebrows raised a bit as she turned down her offer of protection. "You mean standing in the forge all day doing nothing?" she clarified before she gave a sigh of defeat and shook her head. "Fine. Just know that the offer still stands. He's not going to get away with hurting you either way."
The Ares girl smiled a bit as Pri nuzzled her again. She took the opportunity to reach up and stroke her hair as she rocked a little bit. She couldn't help but notice that Pri smelled nice as she closed her eyes a bit. Her mind wandered a bit as she thought about during the Primordials battle, she had a fondness for Pri. It was something she wished she acted on, but the girl had a boyfriend and Audrey was whisked away shortly after the battle was over.
Audrey jumped a bit as she heard Pri mutter out her thank you. She took deep breathes as she felt a blush creep onto her cheeks from being caught off guard as her heart pounded a bit. "Y-you're... you're welcome," she said as she cursed herself in her mind for stuttering.

Audrey took deep, even breaths as Pri snuggled up against her. She adjusted her arms so they were wrapped a little bit tighter around her. "I don't know what he'll do either," she said calmly as a plan formulated in her mind. "But I'll make sure that he won't touch you. You're valuable to both sides... I'm pretty sure that between me and Chiron, we'll develop some sort of protection for you. I'll make sure of it."
She looked down at the other girl and smiled a bit before she chuckled. "That old thing?" She said as she shook her head. "It's a book about tactical warfare. For an Ares kid, that's light reading since I already know most of it." She sighed as she frowned a bit. "You're not being a burden. I like you and if I didn't wouldn't be doing all of this for you. I want to make sure you're okay, Pri."

Audrey kept shaking Pri until she finally shot up. Her eyes were fully of worry as she watched the Hephaestus girl. "Pri, what's..." Audrey could barely finish her question before the girl in front of her broke down into sobs. She was taken aback at first, wondering how badly Gideon hurt her in the first place.
It only took a couple of moments before Pri wrapped her arms around the girl and held her close. Silently, she made a vow to kill Gideon the next time she saw him, or at least badly maim him. "Don't apologize," Audrey muttered to her as she slowly started to rock a bit. "You have no reason to, it's not your fault. It's his fault." And I'm going to kill for it. she mentally added. "You're going to be okay... I'll make sure he never gets to you... no reason to be sorry."

She only sent a note? That left A LOT of room for interpretation which meant he could be possibly tailing her. Audrey didn't like how Princess was a possible target to the Usurpers, despite how little she was involved with their doings. Audrey smiled a bit sheepishly when Pri thanked her. "It's nothing," she said with a bit of a shrug. "In my books, once a hunter, always a hunter unless you got turned into a jackalope. So yeah..." Audrey didn't know how to finish off her sentence as she let it die off.
Her eyes wandered as she admired Pri going through Hailey's things before going off to the showers. For a split second, Audrey thought about joining her, but immediately went against it. The poor girl didn't need a bodyguard every waking moment. But Pri was out of the shower soon enough and Audrey decided to read a book about tactical warfare as the girl decided to curl up in her bed. Audrey smiled a bit as she continued her reading.
Audrey was expecting peace and quiet for a little while, but Pri was barely asleep when Audrey heard the whimpering. Her head shot up as she saw Pri writhe and whimper in her sleep. Audrey almost threw her book to the side as she rushed to the girl's side. "Pri," she hissed as she reached down to shake the girl awake. "Princess. Wake up! It's a bad dream. Wake up!"

Audrey crossed her arms as she glared out one of the windows. This was going far too wrong in Audrey's opinion. She supported what the Usurpers believed in, but she wasn't going to let them terrorize someone innocent like Princess. She sighed loudly before she looked over at the girl on her bed. "When was the last time you spoke to him? Did he mention ANYTHING about having you tailed?"
Audrey's mind was racing with possibilities as she glanced at the door. It was a quick second decision before she walked over to it to lock it along with all the windows, despite it was a warm day and they were cracked to let the breeze in. Once she was sure that her cabin was secure, she walked over to Pri and put both hands on her shoulders to look her in the eyes. "He's not going to get to you. I'll make sure nobody can." She took a deep breath as she noticed how worn Pri was looking. Audrey pulled her hands away from her as she nodded towards the nearest bed. "You should probably sleep. I'll stay up to be on guard if it makes you feel any better."

Audrey raised her eyebrows at Pri when she seemed to be a bit jumpy. She pressed her lips together as she scanned the area again. "Nothing's there," she murmured underneath her breath as she looked back down at the girl. "We need to get you inside." Audrey was a little bit more forceful this time as she tightened her arm around Pri and marched her directly into the cabin.
She closed the door behind them before ushering the Hephaestus girl to her bed. "Why are you having those weird feelings?" she asked once she knew the area was safe or, at least, safer than the arena to talk. Her eyes narrowed once she realized what was happening. "Do you think that Gideon is having you watched?" She felt her blood boil a bit. No way was one of her former hunters going to be tracked under her watch.

Audrey glared at all the idiots around them as she tried to take Pri out of the arena as swiftly as possible. She held the girl close as she neglected to notice the bright red on her cheeks. Audrey stopped a couple of yards away from the arena when Pri said she felt like she was being watched. Audrey then quickly scanned the area, trying to see any immediate threats. "All I see is those idiots back in the arena," she muttered before she directed Pri to the cabins.
"I'll take you back to my cabin. Nobody else should be there and the idiots should be smart enough to mind their own business." She started to lead Pri until she glanced down and noticed the blush. "Is... everything alright?" Audrey was starting to wonder if the girl was more shaken up then she let on.

It had been a while since Audrey seen Pri. The last time the hunter was at camp was during the Primordials attacked. That was the last and only time Pri was a hunter and quickly after that attack Audrey was brisked away to back to her Lady to help with protect the camp from the outside.
It didn't take an Athena kid to realize that Pri was still quite flustered from the event and that people were still staring. Audrey lifted her shirt a bit to show the knife holstered to her hips. If the idiots around her were smart enough, they would know that Audrey had even more hidden and they started diverting their attention and some of them actually leaving.
"They'll forget it once something else comes along to capture their stupid minds." Audrey licked her lips as her mind was immediately made up. She wrapped an arm around Pri's shoulders as she nodded her head towards the exit. "Let's get out of here. Idiots are going to be staring if you stay here."

Audrey was so into her knife throwing that she didn't notice that more people joined in the archery range. The hunter wasn't into her bow and arrow like her fellow hunters or the Apollo kids. Audrey liked her knives, she did since she was a kid in the orphanage. She was in the zone and nothing could distract her except for a blood curdling scream.
This of course happened when Audrey was throwing another knife. She snapped her head up just as the knife left her hand. It completely missed the target and sunk into the stone wall behind it. She swore underneath her breath as she glanced around the arena before she caught what happened. There was a boy stumbling off with an arrow in the leg with an embarrassed Pri with a lot of attention.
Audrey rolled her eyes as she went to help her fellow ex-hunter. "Alright guys," she hissed out as she tried to wave away the attention as she walked over to Pri. "Show's over, go back to doing what you idiots were doing." She rolled her eyes before she stopped in front of Pri and smirked a bit. "You okay?" she asked in a softer tone.

Audrey was frustrated. She was glad she was away from her Lady in the first time in years. She wanted to strangle Artemis several times when the goddess decided not to intervene several times that meant innocent people died. But now Audrey found a group sharing the same frustrations she had, but she found new frustration: they weren't going anywhere fast. She knew that to get any action done, she had to take over the group herself, but she couldn't get anywhere close to the leader.
So Audrey was in the arena as she threw knives at the target several feet in front of her. She had her silver jacket off and she decided to wear a tank top on this day, which nicely showed off her muscles as she threw her knives. Her eyes were narrow as she focused on the target in front of her. Her mind for once wasn't on the stupid group focusing on taking the gods out of the picture. For right now, she was just focusing on going through her basket of knives and throwing them at the little red circle.

Audrey chuckled a bit as she watched the camper barely avoid the lava flow. This was quite amusing to her and a release, not the greatest one, to get some of her angst out. She glanced down below to see one of her fellow huntresses giving her a thumbs up. With a smirk, Audrey returned that thumbs up before she noticed someone running towards the wall.
"That's a first," she muttered as she saw the armor-clad man trying to crawl up the wall. She hadn't seen him around camp before, so she only assumed that it was the new Zeus boy everyone was talking about. If it wasn't, Audrey wasn't going to correct herself. What she was going to do was make his life a living hell. He already dodged a flaming boulder, what else could she do? Good thing she discovered one little button that made some very interesting things happen.
She sat down on the edge of the climbing wall as she glared down at the campers. Oh yes, they were going to get it today. She pressed the heel of her foot against one of the rocks that jutted out, which only went in to trigger the event.
