Meet the love of Ethans life, at least she used to be. Let's call her Lena, which would be a great name for her. fgfsgWhen Ethan was 16, so about two years ago, he dated this girl and they fell madly in love. But, her crazy cousin [who can be discussed with the creator] convinced Lena that she was too dangerous for him because of her parentage and her powers. Her main ability is 'Discord'. Lena can instill a rivalry between two people or groups of people if a feeling of resentment/hate already exists, even if only mildly. She can cause these people to act irrationally because of their negative feelings and even start fights between them. She doesn't do this on purpose for the most part, but it is hard to control and people generally start arguing around her. the affects of this on other people are bad, but what's bad for her is that once people figure out she's the reason, the generally turn their anger to her or just stop talking to her all together or want to hurt her. An innate ability of the children of eris includes a causation of chaos. Lena is basically a walking bad luck charm. bad things just happen around her, projects usually don't succeed if she is involved, things just don't work. rarely can things remain organized if she is a part of it and she has a hard time maintaining healthy relationships because of this. she is someone you don't want around on a quest, while doing a project or basically ever if you're trying to get anything done. Lena decided her cousin was right, that being in love with Ethan was bad for him, so she found someone (a child of Hecate or Dionysus) to take all of his memories of their time together. She truly believes that this is what was best for Ethan. The problem is, the memory loss is starting to where off and he's starting to remember who she is... Here are some personality traits/ideas for her:
intense and shy:
Hadni watches from the sidelines, uninterested in joining the group. Well, at least that's what she wants people to think. She had always been an outsider, and secretly wants to be a part of the goings on in the social places of the world. She is also incredibly intense, and most people find this a little scary.
lighthearted:
once you get to know hadni, you'll find a sweet girl just waiting to get out. her smile is gentle and her eyes wide with wonder, but she doesn't show this side to just anybody.
witty:
Hadni is shy when you first get to know her, but her witty remarks will slowly start building an increasing as time goes on. she can be sassy and snarky, but her comments are always well thought out and quick-witted. she can respond to any lie with a quick retort and catch people off guard, often causing them to confess the information that she was trying to get out of them.
romantic:
Hadni is a hopeless romantic, which probably stems from her reading a lot of fictional adventure novels where the romance is fast paced and high risk. she wants a love like this for herself, though she does realize it mostly only exists in fiction. granted, this hasn't caused her to lower her ideals for love even if they are somewhat unrealistic. she has never had a serious relationship because she has never thought anything was exactly what she was looking for. her romantic ideals are picky, and can hopefully be overcome.
lazy:
when she isn't working on something, she tends to lounge around on her couch at home, snacking and reading. some wouldn't call this laziness, but many have. Her apartment is a mess of plants, books, paintings, paperwork and more. she doesn't clean up because everything is exactly where it's supposed to be in her eyes. if you cleaned up, she wouldn't be able to find anything!

Ethan was never late for anything. Being so incredibly OCD made that near impossible. Still, if he got stuck in one situation that he had to repeat over and over until he got it right made it hard to be on time to the next thing. Luckily, he only had to tie his boots seven times this afternoon before his condition was finally satisfied and he was free to approach the arena for a lesson he had that morning.
He had signed up for one on one lessons without even an ounce of fear behind it. He knew that he needed to learn more about fighting, even though he was already fairly well trained. However, he normally used his Stygian iron bow and arrows. He found it was easier to work with them than any other weapon. Due to his OCD, he has learned to master them with almost unimaginable precision. Still, the idea of learning with a sword where anything could happen was different. Shooting a moving target some afar was easy to calculate, at least for him. But one on one, face to face? That was harder to predict.
He arrived three minutes early and it was a long sessions of training. He was exhausted by the time he got home and was passed out on his bed. He barely even heard the knock, or the girls voice. Shadow travel? family? What? He sat up groggily, rubbing his eyes and crossing to the door.
He straightened up a little, hating to look a mess, and opened it, offering a small smile. "A sister, eh? You new- oh, you're a hunter," he spoke as though he was impressed. "Please, please come in," he offered, taking a step back.

Ethan couldn't help but smirk a little at Chirons comment about Hermes. The man did seem to get around, but Apollo was much worse. Ethan took a step back, allowing Jude to step ahead of him and give Chiron his introduction. Once he was done with his Godly parent and name, Ethan took a step forward. "Hades claimed him the moment he stepped int he border, sir. It seems I have another brother on my hands," he explained, a trace of pride apparent in his voice. "He came last night sir, very late. We let him sleep before coming to you."

Ethan heard a voice from the bathroom, Judes. The other siblings seemed to be still asleep, but Dru could be anywhere really. Ethan was quite protective over his sister, even if he wouldn't admit it to her face. He wasn't really the type to get all sentimental like that. As Jude came out of the bathroom, Ethan opened the door and started leading him toward the Big House, "We'll do the tour and breakfast after we talk to Chiron," he explained, "But these are most of the cabins. The minor gods have several over there, and we're not even technically in the circle as you can see," he chuckled. Chiron? |

"Get some sleep," Ethan said before slipping into his room, needing to get some sleep of his own. He didn't sleep well, and not often, but it had been an eventful day and he was ready to lay down for quite some time now. Well, hopefully he could sleep tonight.

The next morning, Ethan was up incredibly early, not wanting Jude to have to find the Big House on his own. He got dressed and stepped out of his room glancing over at the bed his new brother had chosen. "Ready to get started?" he called out, looking for his new brother.

Ethan crossed to the door to his room, which was separate from the rest of the cabin and leaned against it, folding his arms across his chest as his new brother started getting himself situated. "What do you mean separated? By gender? Sure, we only got one sister who lives here and she kind of has her own area. Behind that curtain over there," he pointed, but he didn't think that was what Jude was talking about.
"And if you mean from the rest of the campers... well, we're pretty well accepted here now. I've made sure of that. Sure there are some that are biased against us, but there isn't anything you can do about those types of people," Ethan explained. Though, he still wasn't sure if he had answered his brothers question.

Ethan, being incredibly OCD, understood the need to prepare before something. "Understandable. Let's get you comfortable. Amy will tell Chiron that you're will me, that would be good enough for now," Ethan explained as they neared the top of the hill. He turned toward the direction of the Hades cabin, not really bothering to give the tour right now considering how tired Jude looked. What this kid needed was some rest and maybe a cup of hot choco, or something of the liek.
Ethan turned to smile at Jude as he thanked him, giving his brother a small shrug. "Not a problem. That's what we're here for, after all," he said with a firm nod. They neared the darkest cabin and Ethan opened the door. "Come on in, you can take whichever bed you'd like that isn't claimed. There aren't many of us here," he explained as he stepped inside.

"I'm the Hades cabin leader, in fact, so you're going to get pretty sick of me," Ethan chuckled. He nodded as Jude asked where he was supposed to go next, and released his hand as he gestured toward camp. "You'll need to see Chiron. But first we can visit the Hades cabin and get your comfortable and settled in, if you'd like," Ethan offered. He was completely open to whatever his new brother wanted to do first.
He started to lead the way up the hill. Another patrol had come to take his place and Ethans partner that night, the Hermes girl, had gone ahead to alert Chiron of the newcomer.

Ethans eyes widened as a skull appeared over the boys head, but his wide eyed look of shock soon turned into a smile. He heard the Hermes girl laugh loudly in the background, but he didn't turn to give her the look he wanted to. The boy, however, looked quite unsurprised by the sign above his head. Did he already know who his father was?
Ethans smile grew as he took a step forward, taking one of Judes hands and clasping it in both of his for a firm shake. "Welcome to Camp, Jude. My names Ethan Marsters, and it seems we're brothers," he chuckled a bit and spoke calmly, even though he was actually pretty excited about finding the newcomer to be his own family.

Ethan watched and listened as the guy explained that he was one of them and wanted to know how to prove it. He seemed honest enough to Ethan, especially considering the fact that he was offering to take a test of necessary. That was enough to convince Ethan. "That's test enough for me. The fact that you're willing to succumb to one. Not to mention the fact that you know not to cross the line," he nodded, giving his patrolling partner a quick signal.
"Though, you can go ahead and step inside now," Ethan took a step back, gently and slowly pulling his sword out of its sheath. He wanted to be ready just in case he was wrong to trust. The way he didn't his sentence earlier worried Ethan, but not in a threatening way. He was worried about what this Jude had been through.
