Freedom laid into the large punching bag with a flurry of blows that set is swinging furiously from its suspending chain. The daughter of Heracles stood, face set in a grim look of determination as she merciless pounded on the swinging bag heedless of the other around her on the training field, some of whom were watching her with a degree of quiet fear.
The girl didn’t care. She was focused far too intently on what she was doing to really notice anyone else. Free had learned long ago that there were very few things in life that were as gratifying as really pounding away at a punching bag and for someone like Free, who didn’t really have many happy thing in her life, you took what you could get.
Something was different today though. Unlike most days when she could sit around doing this forever just working out her fears and aggressions today the training wasn’t doing anything for her. Instead of enjoying this she had gotten thinking about how sometimes she felt like this punching bag. Beaten down, unable to fight back and whenever she started feeling like that her mind often turned to how helpless and alone she really was. It wasn’t a happy feeling and it took all the enjoyment out of what she was doing.
Freedom gave a sigh. She could just as easily be sulking back in her cabin right now instead of wasting her time out here with everyone staring at her. That idea was good enough to make her decide and with one more strong punch Free’s fist nearly ripped the bag in half. As sand began pouring from the hole that her punch had left the daughter of Heracles huffed and turned to head back to the cabins. Several gawking campers jumped out of her way as she began walking off but Freedom didn’t care. None of them understood her anyways and she just wanted to get somewhere she could be alone.

Audrey and Freedom
Yeah I think we're mind melding here. xD Let's give them a starting thread and see what happens. Maybe have them meet on the training field or some other low key situation. I can work up something on this as I've got some ideas floating around. Sound good?
Lucas and Ash
Sounds perfect. Maybe we could start them off by Ash catching him being a terror or something and trying to talk some sense into him. Ash is probably going to be a little harsh because that's just how he is but he's got good intentions and Lucas may just be able to bring out a more caring side in him. In any case it should be fun.
Theo et al.
Let's just go ahead and say we're going to have some more threads with these folks and the fun will continue. Also, Theo will feel no remorse for embarrassing your Hailey to death.
Audrey and Ash
Shouldn't be too hard to get these two fighting. Maybe Ash bags an animal she is hunting? That would be sure to piss her off I bet or even having them doing some target practice that ends up as a not so friendly competition when one can't beat the other? Probably any situation they are in is going to be like a powder keg getting ready to explode. xD

Audrey & Freedom
I can see good things here. Not sure how far she would be willing to put up with Free since the girl is a bit broken but if they hit it off it would be kind of sweet to watch her try and protect her when things got crazy. If nothing else they might have a wild and crazy fling or something like that.
Lucas & Ash
Ash might end up trying to whip Lucas into shape if he annoys him too much because the guy takes very little shit. XD Not sure if you would want him to succeed or not but if Lucas actually listens to his big brother I could see Ash becoming a pretty good teacher.
Saph & Theo
These two should be fine I think. Theo is the type to tease but I can see him doing the typical 'only I get to pick on my sister' thing. I'm sure they'll have plenty of time to get close
Hailey & Theo
All that will and good. Theo will play it up because he is a big flirt. Not sure if it will turn into anything or not since he likes to play the field but who knows. Drama is good. XD
Ash & Aubrey
So I added one. At some point I think we need to have these two together. Got to thinking last night that they would make perfect arch enemies. The Artemis hunter vs the Apollo hunter. Both of them are pretty serious and both of them will likely end up on the opposite side of the usurper stuff. I see an equal and opposite force thing here where they constantly end up in conflict with each other but neither gets an advantage. Anyways I thought it would be cool.

As a child of Heracles she hasn’t faced many things that match her strength physically and as such she will often take seemingly unnecessary risks for no other reason than prove that she can. For some this makes her incredibly courageous. For others, incredibly stupid. Ultimately neither of these opinions approach Free’s real reasons for acting the way she does.
Truthfully Freedom is a very sad, very sick girl. She has not lived a very happy life and because of this she struggles with depression, substance abuse, emotional numbness and at times even self-harm. To those that don’t know her she will usually come off like a brave, if not foolhardy, hero but in reality she is a lonely, frightened girl acting out in an attempt to feel anything ‘real’ at all. HISTORY: From the very beginning it seemed Freedom Blakely, born to Jasmine Blakely, was destined for an unhappy life. Being the only child of a teen mom makes things hard enough starting out but add to that the fact that no father was in the picture and suddenly things get worse. A high school soccer star with a bright future ahead of her Jasmine’s parents did not respond well to the situation and by the time baby Freedom was born the two had been kicked to the curve and were out on their own.
Life didn't get much easier from there. Freedom's mom was forced to drop out of school and that started a downward spiral into substance abuse and reckless behavior. Four men and three kids later Freedom was living with an abusive step father, a mother who didn't care and a house full of screaming siblings that she didn't fit in with.
For many years Freedom didn't know why this was and until her godly powers developed she didn't really have a way to defend herself against the situation she was in. That being the case Free’s life seemed anything but what her name suggested and as time went on the fear and pain she lived under gave way to struggles with depression and low self-esteem. Eventually she got involved with the wrong crowds and found her way to all kinds of reckless behavior herself unknowingly following in her mother’s footsteps to try and find anything to escape from her unhappy life.
The escape came when she turned fourteen. One night her most recent step father came home in a drunken rage and like many times before that rage turned on his family, namely Freedom. If it hadn't been for her powers she may very well have been killed that night but this time something changed. As her step father began to tune up on her Free discovered that she suddenly had been imbued with unnatural strength and for once she was no longer helpless.
Using her strength she fought back against the man that had caused her so much pain wounding and possibly killing him. In any case Free didn't stick around long enough to find out. She fled her home and got as far away from her old life as she could. A satyr finder discovered her living on the streets of Chicago a year later. A lot had happened to the girl since then but she wouldn't talk about it. Fortunately she was still convinced to come to camp and has been there ever since.
For now she is in training like every other camper. She still struggles greatly with depression but for the most part has managed to keep her struggles a secret. Still, her pattern for self-destructive behavior hasn’t won her much respect from Chiron. Instead he likes to keep a close eye on her as she can be somewhat unpredictable.YOU'RE NOT A JUDGE BUT
