After splashing quite a bit for a little longer, Mac finally caught her breath and held her hands up in surrender. "All right, all right! You win, my captain, you are the queen of water sport," she chuckled, slowly moving away from Cheyenne, back toward the edge. "I should get going," she reached for her towel and pushed herself out of the bath, wrapping herself in it and ringing her hair out over the side. It was always nice when Chey got to a point of giggling. It was good to get the girl to loosen up every now and then. It was then, in the splashing battle, that Mac decided this year would be different. This year her goal was to loosen the girl up, even if the first step was splashing at the bath houses.
Macs eyes widened as Chey said she needed time for immaturity and then, unsurprisingly, she was splashed again. Mac gasped, then chuckled as she held her hands up as if she could protect herself from the oncoming water. She wished in that moment that she had a more active God Given ability but, no matter, she could splash back just as well with her hands!

mac was glad that Chey gave the drink the thumbs up, even if she knew she was faking it. At Jens words Mac couldn't help but laugh. "She is, matter of fact! One of my best friends. You a legionnaire then?" she asked, raising an eyebrow at the girl. Then the girl gave her name and celebrated the company she was in. Mac laughed, bowing, "Jen, lovely! Ah," she said as Vega and Chey approached them on the floor. She then made eye contact with the closest guy and grabbed him by the collar. She whispered in his ear and soon he was back with two more drinks and Mac smiled as Chey and Vega caught up to them.
"Why, hello!" Mac said, leaning forward to kiss the air beside both Vegas cheeks, a french greeting, and then turned back to Chey. "Finished that drink yet? I've got another for you, it'll compliment well after that one," she chuckled, winking at the guy who had brought it over and continuing to dance, a drink in each hand!

"Oh, I'll help you!" Mac said, waving her arms as if that was going to be no issue and there was no point getting worried about it. Then, she was being splashed and Mac sputtered, lifting her hands to protect her face, only she was too late. "Ooh! The dark side is showing-" Mac said lifting her foot out of the water to splash Chey again in turn, but only a small splash. "I guess the time for maturity has passed!" she chuckled, flipping her hair around in order to sprinkle Cheyenne with the water from her blonde strands that had been soaking.

"Oh shh, there's plenty of beer!" Mac called as she pulled the girl away, laughing along with her. They started dancing and Mac laughed, smiling as she let the music play at her ears. She hadn't even taken a drink yet, not that she really needed to to have some crazy fun. Plus, it would be much easier to get Cheyenne involved if she was sober. At the girls next words she nodded, "you are correct! Nothing like a loud music, a crowd and some booze to get the blood flowing," she laughed again, a full loud laugh before glancing back to make eye contact with Chey.
She gestured as if she was drinking something out of a cup and then gave Chey a thumbs up, as if asking how the drink was. "Come on over, ladies!" she called, gesturing next for Vega and Chey to join her and the other girl on the dance floor.
She turned back to the brunette. "I'm Mac! And you are?"

Mac knew that Chey would have a skeptical reaction, and her face and response proved it. Mac tossed her head back to laugh again. Mac clicked her tongue and nodded, "ooh, that is a good point. It's a different kind of charm, though. The charisma of leadership!" she lifted one hand into the air, managing to splash some water about. Her eyes widened, "whoops." And one innocent smile later, she was back with her hand in the water.
"But not like pageant nice, Cheyenne. Like cute nice. Like gettin' it nice, eh?" she raised an eyebrow at the Praetor, hoping she understood what that meant. She didn't know too much about Chey's life before camp, but she knew that Chey could take command of a room easily as a Praetor. Why not as a single babe?

Mac couldn't help but laugh loudly as Chey reacted to the drink she had just taken a gulp of. "Doesn't matter!" Mac replied, taking Cheys hand and pulling her deeper into the party. "That wasn't the good stuff anyway." Then some more ladies came and said hello and Mac gave Vega a wave. "Thanks for having us! Chey, Just give me one second. Socialize!" she said, gesturing to Vega and the other girl who'd just walked in before leaving her to the drink table to mix something together. Once it was finished, she lifted it to her nose and sniffed it before taking a small sip. She sighed, "here!" she said, turning back to Chey to shove the drink into her hands.
"Name's Mac," she said, holding a hand out to Vega. Then she turned to the loud girl with some comment about Hades and whatnot. She laughed, "well hi there, gorgeous! Let's dance," she took the girl by the hand and pulled her away, giving Chey a little grin as she did so.

"Aw, they fawn over you too," Mac said in a factual tone. In all realty, most of camp was too afraid of her sometimes to fawn over her, but Mac believed that Chey was a gorgeous woman and that people should be fawning over her. Heck, she deserved romance more than anyone Mac knew! But she wasn't sure if Chey even wanted that. Well, she would continue to probe. "It might do you some good to try the charming tactic every once in a while," she said with a little shrug and mini pout. "Heey, I'm a nice kidnapper! It still counts," she stuck out her tongue at the fellow blonde and rolled her eyes, leaning back against the stone to sink further into the water. "Yes. Of course you need to dress nice. I would never kidnap you and then take you somewhere boring. Trust me. You'll want to look good." she winked. "My philosophy is that you should always look good though." Cheyenne Achilles

Loud music, dim lights, strange smells and sweaty bodies. That was a Roman party. Granted, this one was a little more rave style and therefore wasn't really advertised to the adults, children and squares of New Rome. No, this was a college party set in a basement apartment near the University. There was alcohol, music, snacks, couches, chairs, bedrooms- you name it. Mac had a way of knowing about these sorts of things and tonight she had some special plans. She was going to force Cheyenne Achilles to loosen up this summer and this party was the first step. She arrived at Cheyennes place dressed in her own little black dress and had her hair up in a high ponytail. She was ready for anything and had a good feeling about tonight. She banged on Cheyennes door, "let the kidnapping commence! Let me in!"___________ They arrived at the party half hour after it started, perfect timing, and Mac linked her arm through Cheyennes. "Uh, the really issue is who doesn't?" she muttered out of the side her of mouth as Chey went on to talk about how Fin doesn't give her a hard time compared to others and whatnot. She laughed as Cheyenne claimed the idiocy of the senate and nodded. "Oh, Fin is rather good at talking in a crowd. He's a bit more level headed than you, which I'm sure the senate responds to a liiiiiiitle bit better," she chuckled again and spread her hands out into the water allowing the heat to slip between all of her fingers. "Anyway- I know just the thing to loosen you up after this crazy week. Tomorrow night I am coming to kidnap you!" Ah, yes. A party in New Rome. This was happening. Mac knew that Chey wouldn't mind the steaming, burning hot water that she had in the bath at the moment. She wasn't surprised that Cheyennes answer to being up so early was that she always got up early to train. "Awe, it's always a sad day when you just woke up and you already know what's coming. That's why I try to not plan anything. Other than my Legion Duties, Obvs," she chuckled.
Mac quickly ducked her head under the hot water before coming back up for hair as Cheyenne slipped in. "What's so rough about today, anyway? Fin giving you a hard time? Just looking at him gives me a hard time," she faux fanned herself at the thought of the delicious male predator.

As Mac heard the voice beside her she looked up with a big, bright smile. "Awe, quite the opposite, darling! I prefer to be awake rather than waste perfectly good hours with too much sleep. Granted, beauty sleep is also very important," she stroked her chin with a finger in thought for a moment before shaking her head. "Either way, here I am! Looking for some solitude. But don't worry. I've had plenty! How are you? I bet you always get up this early, don't you?" Yes, she was talking about a million miles per minute, but Chey was probably used to that by now.

 Ah, the Roman bath houses. easily one of Macs favorite places about Camp Jupiter. She could often be found spending time there surrounded by bubbles and steam. She liked her water hot, as hot as the bath houses could get it. Granted, it was classic Roman Bath house style, so she generally liked to go when no one else was there so no one would complain about the temperature she went with. It was early in the morning now, about two or three am. The rest of the camp would be getting up very soon to start morning routines and training. Mac always stayed up late and woke up early. She liked crowds but also liked the alone time that came from avoiding everyone early in the morning and the bath house was the perfect place to start! |

Isa and Mac:
Mac is a reckless soul, a party girl and his always looking for a fight. It entertains her to have a good fight whether it be physical or wordy. I honestly want to see these two maybe being friends, in a way. I think they'd fight and spar of course, but I'd also like to see Mac trying to get Isa to loosen up. Granted, they are in different cohorts so if Isa thinks Mac is 'below her' then this wouldn't exactly work out. Mac is in the second cohort. Anywho, thoughts?
