My little place by the lake (OPEN)

[Accalia Phillips]

Accalia had made a secret place near the lake where she grew vines and all sorts of big leaves to make herself a little hide out, her and her dog Frederick made their way there.

They had just left the beach where they had ran into an adorable six year old boy, Summer, and the boys older sister Makayla. Accalia had never spoken to her but had seen her around and knew she was someone Accalia didn't think was worth trying to talk to.

That's rude. Accalia thought, I should just be nice to her.
She shook of the thought and sat near the lake with her hide out perfectly hidden right behind her. She hoped she could meet someone new today, the boredom was almost deadly.

[Harper Jones]

Harper was walking along the shore mindlessly. She came upon a spot that was heavily overgrown, like only a Demeter kid could do. She poked her head inside the leaves and saw the girl.
"Demeter kid?" She asked the girl while smiling. "Then you must be the new half-sister I'm looking for. I'm Harper."

[Accalia Phillips]

Accalia jumped when Harper walked in and Fredericks ears popped up in alert. But he didn't bark which Accalia decided was a good sign. She stood up and walked to her, "Hi! I'm Accalia. It's so nice to meet you." Accalia stuck her hand out awkwardly preparing for a handshake. She wasn't much of a handshaker and so she new that she must look uncomfortable to Harper, but she kept her smile on.

[Harper Jones]

Harper smiled and shook Accalia's hand. "Nice to meet you. Chiron said I had a new half-sibling, but I told him I wouldn't believe it until I see it." She laughed while dropping her hand.

[Accalia Phillips]

Accalia smiled widly and gestured for Frederick to come over, "This is my dog Frederick. If you don't like dogs it's okay he can sleep here." Frederick started sniffing Harpers hands and being very still, which suprised Accalia, usually around strangers he was running around like crazy.

[Harper Jones]

Harper let the dog sniff her hand before she started scratching his ears.
"I love dogs, so he can stay. But I do need to warn you, I have a white mouse, Pip. But he usually lives in his cage in the cabin. The rest of the time, he's in my pocket."
Then as if on cue, Pip scurried out of Harper's pocket and perched himself on her shoulder.

[Accalia Phillips]

Accalia smiled wider, "I think he is very cute! And Frederick won't bother him. In fact, I hope they become friends." Fredericks eyes shot up to the mouse and he looked at Accalia who laughed, "Yes Fred, these are our new roommates. Don't they seem nice?" Frederick walked around in circles before lying down.

[Harper Jones]

"Yeah," Harper smiled. "It would be pretty cool if they did. So, are you all settled into the cabin and everything? Got the hang of the camp layout?"

[Accalia Phillips]

Accalia nodded, "I'm pretty sure. Basically i've just been chilling here since I got to Camp haha. I guess I don't know much else about camp besides our cabin and here though."

[Harper Jones]

Harper nodded. "Well, the mess hall is right behind the Zeus and Hera cabin." She then started pointing to buildings across the lake. "Then we have the climbing wall, amphitheater, arts and crafts, and the Big House." The she turned and pointed behind them. "Then we have the arena and stables behind us." Then she shrugged. "It took me about a week to get the hang of the layout the first time and about a day the second time around."

[Accalia Phillips]

Accalia followed her finger and nodded with a concentrated look on her face. It seemed simple enough, but hey most things did seem simple to her. Until Harper made a time-travel worthy comment. "First and second time around? Huh?"

[Harper Jones]

Harper took a deep breath. There was no need to bring Accalia into this drama. Then she slowly said, "Long story short, I first came to camp the summer before I turned 13. Then I ran away on my 15th birthday. I only came back to camp a couple of months ago." She fought the tears threatening to fall down on her cheek. Even the shortened version made her think about Jethro.

[Accalia Phillips]

Accalias eyes widened for a second before she put her sweet smile back on, which made all the flowers in the room bloom, "Well, i'm glad you're back or I would be all alone!" She noticed Harpers change in mood and didn't know what to do, she shuffled her feet nervously.

[Harper Jones]

"Gods, I am so sorry." Harper wiped at her eyes. "It's just some things happened when I was gone that weren't the greatest." Since when was death ever that great? "But no need to drag you into them." Harper laughed weakly. "But I'm glad I am here too. It's nice to know I have family at this camp now."

[Accalia Phillips]

Accalia felt sad, "You can tell me... if you want. Or if you ever need somewhere to get away," she holds her arms up to gesture to the area, "This is free!"
