the funeral.

Scott was laid down on a stand with his arms fold and sticks placed all around him. the banner of ares was laid down over his body and a single stand stood at the foot of the stand to be lit at the same time as him. a fire that wouldnt go out. he was completely covered so no one could see him and everything was quiet.

Raphael stood in the back row. for the third time in his life he wasnt wearing his signature clothing. his jacket was no where to be seen around him. his ring was off and was replaced with black gloves. he simply wore a suit in honor. there didnt seem to be any noise in the air and Raphael couldnt see many people there.

[Daphne Scotts]

Daphne didn't know the kid, but she felt an obligation to go. She liked the Ares cabin. Always gave her a good workout when she needed one. It was sad to see one of them gone. Plus, she thought she should be here to support Danny, since he was the cabin leader and everything.

She sat towards the back in black slacks and blouse. She looked around. She didn't recognize that many people around her and she didn't see Danny. She didn't blame him. Funerals were sad.

[Xenos Dhar]

Xenos didn't know most of the campers. Heck, he didn't even know the kid this funeral pyre was for, but he wanted to show respect to a warrior that had lost his life because of battle. His father had taught him to always show respect warriors that fought for a cause. He stood in the crowd around the pyre his signature magic trench had turned into a suit. His sunglasses reflected the little sunlight there was.

Artemis stood in the very back if the group, letting her brothers and sisters who actually knew him take over the whole process. She did have any idea who Scott was since she arrived right after his death, but it wasnt fair she could tell you that. Yes life is dangurus but people can help thoughs who go hurt along the way instead of ignoring them. She looked around not able to keep her eyes on the cloth anymore. She saw a few people she knew, mostly her brother and sisters though. She guessed not many people knew him ether.

Uriel was standing over the darkness, looking at the casket with the Ares symbol. nodding his head he whispered "I hope the kid goes to Elysium..." With that he crossed his arms and blended into the shadows, watching the funeral.

Raphael walked down from his spot to be one of the four to stand in respect. he took a hold of a torch and stood there waiting to for three others to light all at the same time. he looked up and started counting people. he recognized each one. he saw Daphne, Xenos and Artemis. he already knew Uriel was there he saw him a little bit ago. he sighed and looked down at the banner. whoever this guy was didnt seem to be very famous, but he still knew that he should at least get a good funeral. i hope Artemis is feeling okay up there... "here have some words kid." he spoke to scott under his breath. "you better make it into Elysium because the people who are here have come to pay respects to you. i dont even know you and im still here. if i ever have to see you down there and you didnt pass the judging enough to get in there..." he stopped. "no just make sure to get in. otherwise itll be hades ass that ill have to try to kick."

[artemis]

Artemis looked over at raphael and smiled, seeing him talking to her dead brother. Kinda werid? Not for her. She done werider things. She looked up, chiron set the mood alight. Their was a stronge wind and it was all rainny looking yet no rain. She watch as a few campers came in, a few left. Nothing really exciting happened.

I was in the front back row trying to avoid traffic after this is over but I knew Scott so I came to give him respect to "wish you luck in your voyage"

Raphael took the torch and lit the banner. the fire lifted up and moved down to the small stand where the fire would stay forever lit. he stepped back and put the torch in a bucket. he turned and walked up next to Artemis and sat down.

[Xenos Dhar]

Xenos had to shield his eyes from the light of the fire, even with his sunglasses on or else he would've gone blind. He felt a twinge of regret that he had never met this camper. The kid had obviously been a fellow warrior, and Xenos felt that if he had been there, when the kid had been injured, he could have helped. Now Xenos felt guilty, guilty for abandoning the camp for so long. It was obvious that he was different from the different campers, being the son of one of the original gods. He was closer to Chaos than any of them, and now he felt bad for using his haphazard powers for his own selfish reasons, this past six years.

[Daphne Scotts]

Daphne shut her eyes quickly. It bothered her even though she didn't know the kid. She scooted towards the end of the aisle. She wasn't sure how much of the sadness she could take.

I stared at the burning banner "oh scott, why did you do that?" I just sat at the nearest seat i can find which was next to Daphne. I looked over and saw Daphne "hey" I started tearing bu I tried to hold it in.

Artemis looked over and saw Raphael sat next to her. She smiled at him for a moment, not saying anything. She couldn't say anything as she watched the body of her brother burn. She wasnt the only one starting to shed a tear,most of her cabins were also. She felt herlself drift onto his shoulder and close he eyes. She couldn't watch. It pained her to see someones body like that burnt to ashes. It was a human once. At least he would be in a better place.

Raphael smiled back at Artemis for a moment before turning to watch. then she moved to his shoulder and he placed his arms around her to try and help. he looked around, and apparently some of the other ares kids knew this guy. he looked down at the fire and took a deep breath before looking around to at least see for a sign of ares. he didnt expect much from the gods but he definitely expected ares to be at a fallen warriors ceremony, especially if that warrior had been his son. he turned back to Artemis and sighed again.

[Daphne Scotts]

"Hey, Kad," Daphne said coolly keeping her eyes shut. She was still mad at him for being a whimp during the arena fight, but she wasn't going to bring that up in the middle of funeral. "Did you know Scott?"
