Quest of the century. (Quest)

[Harper Jones]

Harper was tired as she tried to stifle back a yawn while she made her way down to the beach. She had a very bad feeling about what they were about to do. Good thing that Weed Whacker was slung across her back and she had a small bag of first aid supplies on her.

"You ready?" she asked as she approached Uriel.

"Yeah, I am.. now Harper, remember. Iris disk on emergency mode, and when I call you and tell you to come back Do it, It's probably because of the delta sign, okay?" He asked.

[Harper Jones]

"Fine, send the girl out to the volcano," Harper said with an eyeroll as she pulled the Iris disk out of her pocket and set it on emergency. "If I get attacked by some evil monster up there and die," she smirked, "I'm haunting you forever. So, goodbye." And with that she started her trek up towards the volcano.

Uriel rolled his eyes and said "Well then...time to get started.." Uriel then turned to the delta sign and sat on it's front, holding it Uriel watched as the sun was about to set. Uriel grinned and watched as it's center started to glow. Uriel stood, about to get his disk but he felt someone snipe his pearl away.

Uriel turned around and saw five wraiths, black cloaks with their head being skulls with a glowing blue color. They hovered their hands over him and Uriel was defenseless. Until he remembered something.

Uriel jumped away when the first wraith started to charge him, sprinting and doing a handspring towards their hotel Uriel ran towards it's door and towards the elevator, climbing up as the wraiths floated up trying to meet him on the suite.

With the dinging sound Uriel ran towards their suite and ran towards the door, opening it with the slide of his card he ran towards his luggage digging he saw as the wraiths passed through their walls, about to maim him as they floated towards him. Uriel then smiled as he found what he needed.

Uriel jumped towards one of the wraiths and punched it directly in the skull, he was wearing a gauntlet now.the spoil of war. Uriel grinned and watched as it crushed it's skull and it turned to a skeleton without any cloak. Uriel then jumped to the other wraith and placed it on a head lock, directing it towards the other wraiths as he started to punch them while riding the wraith. When they were all gone Uriel snapped the wraith's neck as they all turned to gold dust.

Uriel wiped his arms and got a scissor, cutting the excess part of the gauntlet it was now merely a glove. Uriel grinned and held the excess leather, wrapping it around his shoes. Uriel then took his shit off, revealing his athletic body, placing on a black under shirt Uriel hopped around and suddenly, he jumped from the hotel and did a front flip, landing on his foot he survived mainly because the magical leather.

Uriel then turned to the delta sign and saw that it was glowing brightly. Yet Uriel waited for the out come of it before he called Harper.

Harper hadn't run across monsters, yet, as she made her trek towards the volcano. It really should have been Uriel's job. He was the one that suggested the dang volcano in the first place. She made it to the summit of the volcano and looked up. It was steep and Harper always conveniently skipped the rock climbing wall. She sighed as she got on all fours and started climbing.

Uriel turned away from the Delta sign when it was glowing too brightly. Uriel then bit his lip and with that the glowing was too bright. It suddenly boomed and exploded in the moonlight. Almost impossible not to notice.

Uriel opened his eyes only to see a huge hole in the center of the beach, with sand falling inside of it. Uriel stood and knelt in front of it. Only to see a staircase made up of sand spiraling down to the emptiness.

Uriel was about to call Harper when a blast missed his head by centimeters.

A huge man in trench coat with long red hair stepped in front of him, with his left face burnt with a black tattoo identical with Xenos'. But the man was holding a futuristic metal rod with three buttons on it's front, red yellow and green. The man was also wearing shades to shield his eyes.

The man smiled at Uriel and pointed the rod at him, with that another green beam fired from the tip of the rod, almost hitting him. Uriel growled and braced himself, only to find out that he was surrounded by three other mysterious creatures. Uriel sighed, the two others weren't holding rods, they were holding long gleaming swords.

Uriel paced back and forth, his eyes directly at the one with the rod, with that the one on his left with immense speed jumped in front of him, slashing his sword. Uriel dodged by backing up, he was face to face with the being. But instead of getting frustrated cause he missed, the man smiled. And Uriel winced in pain because the slash that the man did left a white mark inches from the original spot, directly slashing him.

Uriel fell to the ground, holding his graced chest. Uriel panted and watched as the man with the rod laugh. He pointed the rod at him and switched it to the red button, Uriel watched as the rod charged, a red orb forming on it's front. Maybe red means kill.

Just as when it fired Uriel rolled out of the way and hopped to his feat, dashing to the one with the rod Uriel slammed his fist into his wind pipe. The gauntlet enhanced his strength so the man fell to the ground easily. Yet he did not turn to golden dust.

Uriel watched as the man staggered for breathe, quickly he took the rod from his hand and he stepped on his skull, rendering him unconscious. Uriel then pointed the rod at the approaching monster, with a click it fired, the red beam hitting him square on the chest. But still, he did to turn to gold dust. Rather he exploded in black ashes and it spiraled until it was gone. Uriel then saw the other man, jumping so high in mid air and aiming to trust his sword at his cranium.

Uriel quickly hopped in mid air, the leather on his foot enhancing his jumping abilities. Quickly Uriel grabbed his wrist and twisted, then he slammed his palm at his chest, he watched as it sunk, Uriel shifted and with that he descended with the man while his hands was touching his still pumping heart.

Uriel; landed with a bang on the sand, his hand clenched on the heart of the super monster. Uriel bit his lip and watched as the man staggered, only did he realize what he was about to do. He was trying to stab him while he's distracted studying him.

Uriel quickly pulled his hand away, dislocating his heart from his body. Uriel watched as the man exploded in black ashes also, spiraling in a mini tornado and disappearing. Uriel sighed to see that their wicked sword is also gone. Uriel then threw the pumping heart to the water. Running to the awesome rod he held it by his left hand, he then took his iris disk out and he placed a golden drachma on the center, Uriel grinned when he saw Harper rock climbing Then he said

"You totally need to see this, Harper."

[Xenos Dhar]

"Hello, Harper." Xenos sat on a rock overlooking the cliff. "How are you?" His coat flared behind him as a breeze hit the cliff. He grinned down at Harper. "What are you doing?" The child of the night's face was grinning.

Harper was tired and her hands were all cut up and such. She was not happy when she saw Xenos on the volcano. Actually, she was quite pissed at him. She paused and looked up.
"You're recruiting techniques aren't going to work," she said calmly and slowly. "So just forget about it, okay?"
Then the Iris message from Uriel came. "I'll be right there," she told the message. Then she looked up at Xenos. "Now, if you excuse me..." She started descending down the cliff.

[Xenos Dhar]

"Aww, don't be like that." His face turned dark. "I wasn't going to try anything. Now, come on stay a while." His sunglasses reflected the light, making it hard to see his expression. "Let's have some fun." A man with long blond hair, sunglasses, a black coat, and a tattoo like Xenos' appeared at the bottom of the cliff. Xenos drew his katars and laughed. "Let's see if you can do anything with that weed whacker of yours." Xenos grinned with dark delight.

[Harper Jones]

Harper froze. There was possibly no way she could fight the man at the bottom. He looked like an Ares kid, except for the eye tattoo thing. And she didn't want to talk to Xenos either. Her mind immediately went to the Iris message, but that would only put her in a face-off with Xenos. She sat down an a rock that jutted from the volcano.
"What do you want?" she asked in a bored tone as she looked up at him.

[Xenos Dhar]

"Nothing other than to keep you here." Xenos laughed. "I have more people on their way over to Uriel, and I don't want you to interfere." He looked down at her. "He can probably beat them all, but this is just to stall for time. I'm waiting for nighttime." The child of the night sat back down. "So, you never answered me. How are you?"

[Harper Jones]

Harper's hand quickly dove into her pocket and she Iris called Uriel. This was an emergency. She pulled her hand out and crossed her arms.
"I'm doing well, thanks," she said in a bored tone. "And why are you keeping me here if you know that Uriel is going to defeat all of your men?"

[Xenos Dhar]

"As I said this is to stall for time. I don't want to fight him while I'm weakened, and he's at full strength. So, I'm counting on my men to give me some time. I know Uriel won't leave enemies behind him, especially if it puts innocents at risk." Xenos frowned. "Now, I myself won't normally threaten mortals, but this is a necessity at this point. He's bested me twice, and I know now that I need to even the playing field." The child of the night stood up. His coat shifting as he did. "They should be getting there soon."

Uriel tapped his hand nervously on the rod he just gotten, rolling it from green to red to yellow. What if Harper got assaulted? he couldn't bring himself to think of what Dawn might do. With that Uriel saw two more shady looking guys approach him.

Uriel sighed and aimed the rod at one, with a click of his fingers the rod released a green light. The light hitting one of the monster's chest, stunning it. Uriel then grinned and suddenly twisted and hit the other one with the green light. Only to find out that Green means stun.

Uriel watched as the regaining monsters tried to stand up. Uriel shifted it to Yellow. With a grin he fired it towards the monster, only to find it passing through him like air. Uriel scratched his head, then he saw the yellow light hit one of the trees. With that he watched as the tree fell on top of the two monsters.

Uriel grinned and shifted it to the red light. Aiming it at the staggering monsters' face Uriel said

"Okay, is Xenos going for Harper, tell me yes or no." he said and aimed it at one of their forehead

"I'll never tell you Olympian Warrior! ROT IN HADES!" Said the one without the rod pointed at him. Uriel turned to him and with a flick of his fingers the rod fired the red light. Hitting the monster's head and making him disintegrate to spinning clouds of dark ashes. Uriel then forcefully shoved the rod on the other one's mouth and watched as it glew in red light

"Okay, I'll ask you again. Is Xenos assaulting Harper? if you don't answer me I'll blast your cerebellum off then watch as you slowly disintegrate to ashes."

The creature squirmed and nodded, With that Uriel grinned evilly and shifted it to the green light. With a fire he watched the green light explode in side the monster, making him twitch as if he has epilepsy.

Uriel then turned around only to find five more standing. With a groan of frustration Uriel shifted the rod to red light and said

"Screw noble fighting."

With that he fired it to one of the hotel's glass. Uriel grinned and watch the beam reflect to dozens of red light. slamming to the other monsters While Uriel ducked for cover.

Uriel stood when the light was gone. Seeing a huge tornado of dark ashes Uriel watched it slowly disappear. Uriel then walked towards one of the trench coat left. Uriel grinned and placed it on. As soon as he did spiked sprouted from it. With a grin Uriel picked up one of their sunglasses and placed it on. Only to see a clearer way.

Uriel then shifted, there's no way he could make it to Harper in time. That's when he saw that one of the monsters left an awesome motor cycle.

It was pitch black with chains hanging and black flame burning it's front. Uriel grinned and rode over to it. with a scan of his rod it burst to life. Uriel grinned and fired down the road.

He was going as fast as he could decipher. The road was coming to a blur. Uriel grinned and within minutes he was riding the motor cycle up the mountain.

Uriel ran up the mountain, with a press of his foot the vehicle roared upwards, making him stay in mid air for a while. He saw Harper and Xenos talking and a blonde dude that looked like one of those monsters. Uriel pushed the bike down and with that he awesomely halted by using his foot to stop the vehicle's rage.

Uriel got up from the bike pointing at the blonde monster yelling "Stupefy!" (Sorry I JUST HAD TO XD) Uriel watched as it hit the monster, stunning it.

[Xenos Dhar]

Xenos grinned as he saw Uriel reach the bottom of the cliff. "Get him." Xenos spoke into thin air, but something heard him. Five people like the others that had attacked the Olympian warrior appeared around Uriel. Each of them had a strange weapon. Varying from a hammer the size of a two-handed axe to a pair of brass knuckles. "Let's get him." The one with the hammer said to the others. A man wielding a spear that had a blade the length of a sword attacked first.
