Dru did not see that coming. Well it made sense, but she didn't not see that coming. These two were quite, well, something. She knew if their life was a movie, it would make the audience feel on their toes, like they were never safe from the next blow. "So you can read each others minds and see things the other see." She said trying to reassure herself with the new knowledge. "and you have magic eyes that can see love."

So. They could have talking about her this whole time without her knowing. Explains why he knew Kenji thought she was cute. Great. Didn't have to worry about her behind her back but rather through their thoughts. She looked down at fire a little curious as to what he was doing. Fire didn't investigate the living much, other then walking through a kid one and making him fall to the ground. That was funny. "yeah, i dont know what id do without fire"

"Well, they do more then that, but those are trade secrets," Kurtis said, smiling as he slipped his sunglasses up his nose, completely hiding them. Kenji gave his a glare that Kurtis needed no ring to know what he was thinking. "Blah blah blah spoil-sport. I reformed remember?" Kenji rolled his eyes at that, and it was clear on his face what he thought.

"I'll believe you've reformed when you manage to stay in a relationship more then 6 months."

"I was in one for 5 then broke up, but we got back together. and you have hardly count that one. You got kidnapped by a dragon. What twin wouldn't get depressed?"

"I would have found you and kept my relationship going."

"If you ever start one."

Kenji didn't have a retort for that one. Kurtis grinned as he won that one, turning to Dru as he realized she gave him a line for something. He walked over, putting an arm around Kenji and grabbed him in a bro-hug. AKA, he just grabbed his neck and made him bend his back to do so, Quite embarrising Kenji. "I know what you mean girl. If I didn't have Kenji here I d-" Kurtis froze, Kenji's hand returning to his side as his brother fell over in a limp heep.

Kenji looked down, and then kicked Kurtis in the rips, making Kurtis groan and say," Okay, uncool. We had a truce remember?" Kenji just grinned innocently, Kurtis getting up and massaging his neck. "I seem to not be able to recall that," Kenji said, giving Dru an amused look, Specifically not looking at Kurtis. Kurtis sighed, saying," Oh, now he gets a sense of humor. And seeing as how I actually do have someone to met, I'll see you two lovebirds around." He laughed and started away, leaving Kenji to fend for himself. Course, kenji gave him a glare, and turned back to get one last look as the fox vanished from his vision, Kurtis stopping the sharing.

"So... How long as Fire been with you," Kenji said, looking at her now empty shoulder. He cursed that Kurtis could see the bugger and he couldn't, but talking to a girl that was sending "I will kill you in your sleep" vibes as well as "innocent but fiece" vibes at him was a strong thing to get over, so a safe subject was a good way to start. Right? It was easy to see that, despite how strong he was, this still made his a little awkward.

These two liekd to bicker back and forth was always funny. They were typical siblings and it always seemed strange for Dru to see a family that got along, seeing as her own never showed her that. It must have been nice to have a sibling, someone that knew everything about you and knew yours limits. That was about Fire to her, no one else shared that much with her.

She flinched a little when Kenji kicked him, slightly worried till it was clear by Kurtis' reaction this was normal. They ceritainly were intresting, Kenji expecially. He just seemed so cold on the outside, but the second he gave Dru that look that was nearly a smile she smiled fully back. He was something else, and she honestle would have kept smiling at him had Kurtis not started to walk off, leaving them alone. Kenji's looked changed back to the cold look and it was back to the closed off. Great.

He even seemed nervous, and she knew she felt the same but to keep the situation from being completely awkard she knew she couldn't let it show. "Fire?" she had to think for a moment. "I was abour twelve when he first showed up, I thought I had been seeing things when i first saw him, but when I was claimed later that year and he made more sense why he was around." She said, watching the little fox twirl between her feet acting like a cat, before he went over and started to try to do the same on Kenji, not happy he would fall through him unlike Dru. She looked up at him and smiled sightly "He likes you a lot I think. Either that or he is sure that he can rub your foot off"

Kenji couldn't surprse a shudder when she said she got him around twelve. He wished his year twelve was that good. Getting haunted by a ghost or being the lead person in a massacre.... you can see where the difference was. Still, he didn't regret it at all.

"He's what?" kenji asked, looking at his feet, wondering what the little guy was doing. It was weird, knowing that something was really trying to rub against his feet. Kenji closed his eyes, and flexed his calf muscles under his jeans, as if trying to feel him. He let out a breath, and focused his ability to feel emotions and everything around there, searching for a trace of the fox's presence.

After a second, Kenji opened his eyes, saying," Well that didn't work." He looked at his legs, asking," He's not still doing that is he?" It was like an invisible cat was trying to do it, though his tone wasn't angry at it. Mostly just curious. Course, Kenji felt something then.

"Hold that thought," he said, and felt his shoulder start to bleed again. He grabbed it, a gasp of pain as the dragon blood in him reacted. He wobbled a second, taking a step back. Yeah, that hurt. Kenji pushed his shirt against it, steaming the flow as he felt something brush against his legs. He looked down, unable to see anything but felt it. "Oh, that's just not fair," he said, smirking a tiny bit. Even with his vision, you could see his pants being pressed against his legs as something had rubbed against it. "That's.... New," he said.

Dru had to smile a little, she knew he was trying to feel fire, to get some sort of sense of his place or actions, but she knew there would be nothing. She watched as the tiny fox, frustrated with the evidenced attentions, try to nudge harder, only ending up passing through him completely. Okay, a small laugh came out from Dru's lips at that one, but that ha to expected. "I think he is as frustrated as you." She said before turning her smile more towards a frown, a sudden wave of sadness and lost hope swiping over her. Not only could Fire feel her emotions, she could feel his. "He forgets sometimes when he is with me that he is dead."

Her eyes when wide when he started to him stumble in pain. She quickly moved forward and grabbed his lower arm lightly when he stumbled "Are you okay?" It took her a second to realize that he was no longer in pain but smirking, looking down and seeing that the determined little Fox was getting something out of him, a reaction at least. She was more curious about him and the now evident bleeding shoulder, his shirt starting to seep blood through. "What was that about though? Are you okay?" she asked, nodding at his shoulder "Should you go get that checked out?" She asked only because he seem so unfazed by it like he was use to it.

"Don't worry about it," he said, feeling the bleeding stop. It came and went now adays when he was ether stressed or excited or the dragon blood boiled. Kenji took his hand off, a little stick and red and wiped it on his pants, saying," it's an old wound acting up." he smirked, knowing that the dragon thing wasn't actually that wide spread, even if it happened on the hill. The fact that he came back was though. He never really told anyone the extent of his injury other then the apollo cabin and his brother. And a few people who caught him at his Physical therapy on the beach in the morning. Salt water mixed with stretching the scar tissue and muscles? It was heaven. The blood loose was a pain though.

Kenji felt the wound clot up, wondering when/if it would ever fully heal. He smirked though, and felt something on his foot. "Get off my foot," He said, not looking down and figured to be honest.

"This I got from a dragon stabbing me through with his claw and taking me on a ride over the Atlantic ocean, then gave me an involuntary blood transfusion." he shrugged with his none bleeding shoulder like it was no big deal. Getting bad was actually harder then killing the beast. "I just need to get the bandages changed later. It will be fine, since it stopped bleeding again." He rolled that shoulder, and it didn't bleed. "See, better," He gave a tiny smile, barely a quirk of his lips but it was there. "Besides, the dragon did give me a gift somehow." He knelt down, and grabbed the little sucker. He couldn't see him, but he felt him. He stood straight, the fox in his hand and asked," I still can't see him, but I can feel him." It was kind of ironic. The child of love, who can feel things, could only see the fox, while the child of wisdom could only feel the fox, not see him.
