Of all possible reactions, Dru hadn't expected that reaction from Kevin. He was nervous? that it what, wasn't enough for the contest? Apparently he knew of the contest, which she hadn't really expected. She didn't know that he was into films. It was kinda cute to her how nervous he was about it. When he tried to reach for the script she pulled it back, rolling it up in her hand. This script isn't the start, she smirked at him. Dru's smirks were rare to be this fully entertained, shaking her head slightly before wacking him in the head with the rolled up script
"Dude, pull yourself together." Dru would have sound more serious if she wasn't too busy trying so hard to not laugh. "Kevin, I'll be fine. I'm directing it after all." her joking nature was trying to get him to feel better. Honestly if she hadn't thought that it would be good, she wouldn't have said so but it will do perfectly. "Plus I can combine it with what I've already shot that I have saved." It would be good actually, she could apply a few filters and give it a thriller vibe, something she did do much work with, but with that and maybe some help from her powers as special effects it would turn out perfectly. The perfect mystery thriller for a indie showcasing.

Dru was finally able to pull her eyes from the pages that were handed to her, looking at the hermes boy as he talked. Not a lot of people knew about him? She guessed that was true, not everyone had been reading screenplays since they were little. Her grandmother use to have this old box with vhs taps of old movies and screen plays for those movies that she had collected over the years after running the only theater in town. Dru would spent most her her days there as a kid, knowing it was one of her mothers favorite places. She helped around part time as a young teen in order to get access to the room with all the reels of film in it. She has never had a more happy moment then looking at all that creativity in front of her.
"Congreve is a classic, and if people don't know him they should at least know that quote. I hate when people misquote famous sayings to fit their own narratives." she said before raising a eyebrow at the boy, a common habit at this point. Would it suffice? "I can make it happen." she said simply and proudly. Dru was not on to not have faith in herself, and at a time like this she definitely couldn't afford to not. "There is a film festival going on in a near by city, just down the sound. I convinced Chiron to let me enter it using the address to the farm. It's not a big contest but there are a lot of directors that get hired from them and first place is a spot in a larger film festive in New York. It's what I want to do with my life, be a director. You know, give peoples lifes some meaning and creative narratives that move people. I've had a lot of problems with this film actually. The thing with you, I broke my leg falling out of a tree. Feels like the whole universe doesn't want me to go after my dream." And she was gushing, even though she said she wouldn't. When she was talking about film she just couldn't help it. "Thats why its important. I don't have a place to go to out of here and I don't plan on being here forever so I need to make my chance now."

A woman scorn? Dru laughed "Touche you've got me there" she said between laughs. Dru was known to be hot headed so she understood what he meant. Throughout most film history a woman scorn often was a big plot device and gave motive, seeing them as just tools to build a plot line off. She fumbled with the pages of the script as she spoke to him. She felt that this was a good sign. That this was going to mean something for her life. "yes but the next part of that quote is Say what you will, ’tis better to be left than never to have been loved.' Unrequited love. Thats what the quote is about at least." she said almost nonchalantly as if it was common knowledge. She loved screenplays and movies, all the meanings were amazing to her. They all had a meaning that moves people.

Dru wasn't oblivious like everyone thought apparently. She saw the blip in his face when she saw his reaction to what she said. She smirked, laughing slightly under her breath. She looked at the script in her hand before looking back at him. "Well death and deadlines should always been the end result then. This is, actually perfect." she said standing up and starting to pace around the stairway slightly. She always did her best thinking while moving. She moved around the seats as she walked and read, twirling her hair slightly as she did. A few more lines and she was set. This was set, she knew just how to work her old film into it and how to reshoot in the few hours. Editing was gonna be the hard part, she used old timey edits to make the film have character. Now she would have to do double time to get the rest of it out in time. She looked over at him and smirked "did you really think I was going to kill you? No offense but I am really not a fan of being thought of as a stereotypical hades kid. I don't exactly scream death and darkness do I?"

Dru had watched as the guy approached, papers in hand. She breathed a little bit easier since he kept his end of the deal. She needed this film to be great. It could lead to bigger better things for her. She smiled as he came up to her, holding the papers and what seemed to be a bag up in surrender. She just laughed and shook her head. "No death I promise. I'm not my father." she said sarcastically and took the pages and chocolates from him. The was kinda sweet? No pun intended of course. She looked over at the baby fox, who was clearly trying to glare at him but she shooed him off to go play. She looked back at Kevin and gave him a small smile. "You do know I forgive you right? Yeah it sucks but you didn't mean to" She said and put her hand on his shoulder before walking over to one of the stands starting to read through the first few pages. She state there, letting the story sink into her. "This is really good kevin." she said in awe, not even taking her eyes off the script. This was it.

It had been a week, exactly a week. Dru had saved as much footage as she could, even spending hours reworking the damaged pieces into the story as well. Nothing is better than a documentary turned thriller right? Get paranormal activity on that shit. She had told that Hermes kid to meet her in the amphitheater with his promise to her to make it up. She was still upset but she had time to cool down, while he didn't mean to she knew that he wanted to make it better at least. That had to count for something. Still it took hours to get rid of that mess. After her hot headed episode that day she had mostly calmed down, she was more anxious than anything. This film festival could mean her name getting out there. There were two things Dru wanted in life, to ask her mother who had killed her and to make a movie.
She sat in the amphitheater, fox tagging alone and running through the stands. It was almost a normal scene until you remembered that the fox was dead. Dru wished she could save people sometimes, her mother, lil Fire, there was so much she wished she could do to help. But all she could do was send them on to the end of their time. Thats all she was good for was a bridge to the after world, to her dad. She shook those thoughts away as she saw something approaching the amphitheater, hoping it was him. She still had a lot of work to do in the short amount of time left. Hopefully he could fulfill his end of the deal.

Dru smirked slightly as he joked with her. Maybe being pranked wasn't the worst thing that could have happened this day. She just shook her head at the boy and laughed. "For now, If you can't get me a screenplay in time I can't say you won't die. I still have to submit this in time." she said playfully serious. She needed to submit that, unlike everyone else here she planned to leave and go to college and have a life and a name for herself outside of this place. "Well I've going to go see what i can scrap and change." she said simply, looking at the boy with a slight, more innocent than the prior ones. If he fucked this up though he was dead. So dead. "You have till the end of the week Kevin." she said simply before heading back into her dark cabin for a gods damn shower.

Dru felt proud of herself when the boy said something about her taking boxing classes. "Damn right it better, you deserved it." She said rolling her eyes at him. She did smirk ever so slightly when he referred to Fire as at least having fun. Dru chuckled ever so slightly, looking down at him before saying a few phrases in latin, before the fox decided to go give up and make its way to her shoulder to nest. "You probably will need to. Then again I will need to replace everything I'm wearing too." she said, her voice finally loosing all the bitterness and sass. Dru may be hot headed but she did cool down quickly. Well, quick enough.
"Fun? I wouldn't say so much, but I am amused if you must know." she said looking down at the already drying mud. Well, that was one way to flip a entire day around. Thanks to this, this, kid. "Though you are luck I am amused. Less likely to Kill you or accidentally summon a army of skeletons. Or launch a a stone at your face by accident."

Dru rolled her eyes dramatically at the boy who nearly died. "Yeah whatever you say Mud Boy. Believe what you want." Okay, maybe she was still smirking slightly, she just found it amusing, she was still pissed about her work. She wasn't about to forgive this jerk off so quickly. As he spoke of Fire she looked over at the little ghostly inferno, they had always shared a connection, whatever she felt he felt. It was no surprise that she could see his tail dying down as she did as well, still fully ready to attack at a moments notice. Nom to death? Probably but he didn't need to know he was right.
"Shouldn't be too hard?" She laughed and smirked a grin that was more sinister than amused. "Good. Cause you have till tomorrow evening. Not too hard right?" Would it be hard? probably not if he was as good as a writer as he claimed, but she needed to motivate him somehow, and pride was always a assured way. He went to shake her hand and everything nice had broke off as she was yanked forward.
Once again covered in mud by pretty boy Dru took about two seconds before she her face went red again. "SERIOUSLY DUDE. WHAT IN THE NAME OF HIM IS WRONG WITH YOU." She huffed out before she laid a pretty good right hook on her shoulder. Fire had, once again commences his noming, with as little effect as earlier. "Do you just had a death wish or do you honestly think this is fun!" she toned down her voice, splashing what little mud hadn't dried up yet at him angrily. Dru was usually mature, but pouting seemed appropriate right now.

Dru had to admit, seeing him covered in mud made her want to laugh. She didn't but she wanted to. He wasn't forgiven yet, but his death was no longer the first thing on her mind. It was a start. For the hot headed girl she was calming down rather quickly. She rolled her eyes when he smirked, but not as harshly as before. It was a step.
One chuckled, then two escaped her lips when he made that stupid freaking pun, and a stupid smile wouldn't go off her face no matter how much she tried. "fox's sake? Really? Gods I hope your writing is better than your puns." She said one thing, but the smile still plastered on her face said otherwise. "Vicious is a way to put it. Guess you must have some guts in you if this is how you are reacting to Fire. Most people think they are literally losing there mind. In your case though i guess you have to have one first." Her tone was shifting more from the harsh voice it had been before to her normal sarcastic tone of voice.
"The film that is now unusable was for a film contest I was planning of enter in a week." She said simply, looking down at the boy, hand on her hip. "Since I'm short on time I need to switch it up quickly. Write me a screenplay. Something original, That way I don't have to rethink the entire concept myself. And help me film it so I can make it on time." Honestly, she was shot on ideas towards the end of filming so this could work in her favor. "Make it something good and I'll completely forgive you. No hard feelings or literal skeletons in your closet." she said with a slight smirk, holding her hand out to him in a all too familiar stance from moments ago. "Deal?"

She sighed as he apologized again, seeing a skull starting to appear in the mud before very angrily stomping in back into the ground, probably more dramatic than she needed to. It probably looked like something out of a anime but boney no more was all she cared about.
More mud, this kid could definitively deserve. Dru could see it was seriously obvious that he was sorry back it. Whatever, deal with your guilty conscious then. Wasn't her fault. She stopped midway picking up the piece of film when he gave his offer. He was writer? Destroy his stuff in return? She stood up and slowly turned around to look at him, with the biggest WTF on her face. She honestly had no response for what he said. She stared at him for a moment before walking up closer to him, with her box under her arm. She looked at him for a second before quickly pushing him backwards into the mud.
"There. That made me feel better." She said simply, her voice a lot calmer and softer than before. "I have no deserve to destroy someones work purposely." Okay, yikes, even Dru knew that was harsh. Very Harsh. She sighed out and ran her free hand through her wet hair, moving it back into place. "Sorry. I know you didn't mean to. It was just a prank that went too far. I have more film anyways It will be fine." eventually. He seemed to be honestly taking it worst than her.
Now the hero came in, Fire soared through the walls of the cabin, makings some sort of hissing noise and started to pull at the boys shirt. He was so angry that even the kid had to be able to see him, his heatless flames pouring out of the little foxes body. She shook her head and tried shooed him away. "Fire now is not the time to play hero." Nothing but more growls. She facepalmed and shook her head. "So vicious." she said rolling her eyes "He wont hurt you. He couldn't if he tried. Just kinda, nom on you."
Okay Dru wasn't a genius but she knew a good plan when she felt it. "You're a writer?" Maybe this day wasn't going as south as she thought. "You want to make it up to me?"

Dru was often told she was too hot headed for her own good. She still didn't know what they were talking about as she plotted this kids death. This was justified. This was only months of work, while in a cast, ruined. Yes, Chiron would completely understand this. This wasn't over reacting. Okay maybe it was but she did not care at all.
When he suddenly appeared near her, she figured he must have power similar to her shadow travel. Water balloons, a type of teleportation. Great, figures a Hermes kid. She huffed as she glared at the guy he was trying to apologize to her, small stones still making their way to the surface, feeding off her angry."Sorry about my film? That was MONTHS of footage! Who am I am even kidding, not like you care." she spat back, livid was a understatement. She took a breath to try to calm her powers down before a freaking skeleton appeared or something like that. She closed her eyes for a second, long enough for the boy to think she had calmed down before swiping her hand across the muddy dirt, straight towards him. "No, No I don't." She said very coldly, slowly pushing herself off the ground and attempting to futilely dust off the mud that had already stained her dress probably. "I don't need any help from you." She said before turning around to see the damage. Good news, when she threw her box down most of the water got out. Bad news is pieces were sticking out of the mud. She took a deep breath, trying to keep her murdering vibes down before she actually did kill the boy, picking up her box and sorting through what she could salvage.

It had been such a nice day. Dru had been just early because she was finally out of her cast. Finally! She could actually wear some cute clothes that wouldn't be ruined by her obnoxiously large boot. She had a good training day, and how she was about to go develop some of her film in one of the dark rooms in the arts building. It had been part of what she had shot that day in the woods when she has met Ash. Nice kid, though there was a lot of gossip around camp about him. Whatever it was it was no concern to her. However on this how so nice day, as she walked out of her cabin, film stripes in hand, out of no where what felt like a bucket of water had hit her. More like water balloons.
"WHAT THE HELL" She literally screamed at the top of her lungs and she shot her head up. Some boy, so boy sitting on the roof. H e w a s d e a d. "What in the name of Hades do you think you are doing?!?! Im soake-" No. nononononon. She looked down in her hands, what has once been her box of film was now filling a small pool of film, slowly dissolving. "MY FILM" She threw her box down in rage. If he had been close enough he could probably feel the heat radiating off her or see the flames in her eyes.
Dru had never been one to train on her powers, she didn't like to use them. So when small stones and bones started to literally fling themselves out of the ground she freaked out. Stumbling backwards and falling to the ground, into the now wet and muddy ground. Let's make a list shall we. Film? Ruined. Cute new dress? Ruined. Dru? Soaked to the bone. Kid on the roof? "IM GOING TO KILL YOU." Dead. The daughter of Hades declared him D E A D.

Dru shrugged as she followed Ash though the forest, Fire was a interesting pet that was needless to day. “Maybe some day, it's just a hades kid thing I guess. It just kinda happened” she said smiling at the little fox beneath her feet. Fire came into her life randomly and ever since then she can’t imagine her life without the little fox. The fox was pretty much a constant companion, even when he was gone he was never that far away and she could always seem to summon him when she needed him.
As they walked the fox made a noise and she realized him from her grip, letting him return around to running along the ground and playing with the living world. Why he was stuck she’d never know. They finally seemed to make it to the path back to camp and Dru let out a sigh of relief. She looked over at Ash and smiled widely at him. “Thank you so much on this. You really didn’t need to do all of this for me.” She said, rubbing her hand on the back of her neck and smiled sheepishly “I can take it from here though. Thanks again for all your help, if you ever need anything come by the Hades cabin. I promise you won’t burst into flames or anything.” She said before putting her hand on his shoulder, in a thanking gesture and went on her way with Fire.
