"I use a computer in the Big house that chiron has set up. It doesn't attract monsters since there is no internet on it or anything" she said before stopping when Dru noticed the look he was giving her. She gave a quick back and forth between him and fire before the wires in her brain finally clicked. "Oh. Thats um, well, If i say my pet ghost fox that literally is on fire does that make more sense or less sense?" she said before cracking a slight smile. She nodded the fox over before it climbed into her arms. Using her energy he became slightly more solid, but she honestly had little energy to spare when it came to lugging around this cast in the woods. At least he'd know she wasn't insane.
"He is, well. Its a long story but he follows me around and like to mess with me and people around me. Little trickster." she said walking on with the ghost 'resting' in her arms. He couldn't phase through her, but didn't mean he was solid either, just, like she was holding denser air. "editing isn't that hard though, just tedious work."

Dru nodded simply at Ash's words, agreeing with them. Honestly the idea of her being cooped up in the Hades cabin for days would be a nightmare. Its always so, quite and dreadful in there. It honestly feels like death. It's not a comfortable place for her. She may be a child of Hades but it wasn't like her to be that way. Dru has never felt that way, like death surrounded her. Well except for when a certain someone was around.
Speak of the little blur of fire. She smirked as looked down at ghostly fox trailing behind the two. Best not to deal with fire now, since Ash would think she was going crazy,-er. "Trust me I dont plan to fall anytime soon." Honestly, she had no idea if he was scolding her or joking with her. Okay then. "yeah, I got enough footage for my film, so I won't have to get anymore anytime soon, I should have enough to edit." she said eyeing the ghostly fox, smirking all knowing like. The fox looked like it was judging her, so she stock her tongue out at it.

When he said things stayed the same as well Dru sorta side eyed him before he explained. It made since though, they looked for different things. She looked for the changes, the lost of leaves, the moves of branches. Ash looked for the constant things that had to do with him being out there. His len was focused around hunting, hers was on changes. Interesting, very interesting. She laughed at his words though as they walked. Any reason? "You are so right there. Anything to get away from my cabin." she said with a chuckle.
She noticed him moving thins out her way and mentally thanked him. It wasn't that she needed him to, she'd make i fine, it just meant she didn't have to lift the cast as high. Yeah, ash definitely reminded her of people from her hometown, at least in some good ways. That southern charm of helping and expecting nothing in return. A part that she didn't know very well. "A few more weeks as long as i keep it from getting too rattled." she said and laughed, shaking her head. "So probably a month since I can't stay in bed to save my life." or in this case, her leg.

Dru simply nodded as Ash talked, intrigued by the boy. It wasn’t often that people seemed to surprise her yet he did. He didn’t fit the mold that you’d expect from an Apollo kid, but that was something Dru always liked in people. The ones that broke the stereotype, went beyond what people thought of them and made their own category. Dru never thought of her own fears like that, then again they were mostly self-fulfillment fears. She had her own agenda to keep to when it came to her fears.
She could understand the peacefulness of the woods. It was also that way for her, to escape that cabin. It was too gloomy for her, she could barely stand sleeping in there. “That’s what I do to escape as well. Well, before I fell out of a tree.” She said with a small giggle before continuing. “They are interesting woods, you can go through the same path every day and something will be different. Some new will be there.” She said as she walked, not breaking the eyes from the path in front of them that he was leading them down. It always surprised her how the woods felt so alive, the Nymphs that would appear every now and then. It was so quite yet so alive. “I’m not too keen on keeping my skills up to date, but it is a nice get away from the dullness of camp life.” She agreed with a nod of her head.

"That's because most people want to be in front of the camera." Dru said simply as she started to follow him out of the woods. She made sure to keep up with him, cast or not she pulled her own weight. Ash was already helping her out he didn't need to do anything else to help her. She looked back at the moon before she looked at the boy leading the path for her. "Maybe she did. I mean. I would have made it back to camp." well "eventually" she mumbled at the end. To be honest she had no clue where they even currently were, the forest was massive and all looked the same.
"Aren't you scared to be out here at night?" she asked, peeking her head at the boy with a slight tilt. "Like there are things in here that seriously could maim you." Dru asked as the walked, she didn't understand how he could just come and hunt in here like mortals in her hometown did for deer. Deer didn't have four sets of teeth last time she checked.

Wick was a awkward one, Dru had to admit. She thought he would be fine for a second but his actions proved other wise. At least he wasn't stuttering anymore that was a plus. He'd make it there one day at least. Dru smiled and looked down at the broken camera in her hands. She may have broken rips but her camera being busted was the worst blow of them all. It was her life. "More like a short film. Its just for some stupid contest I want to enter." she said but ended up mumbling at the end. Most people didn't know how to take full time campers that interacted with the mortal world as well. It wasn't normal, that and most technology was like a gps to monster buffet.
Her ears perked up at his words though as they came out of his mouth. A little too much as she straighten up her back to fast causing her to strain her side, Again. She was too excited to care though. "Really? Cause that would be amazing!" she said probably far too excitedly and quickly but she didn't care. That contest was important to her and as long as she could submitted it that's all she cared about.

"Its for a contest I'm trying to enter." Dru explained as she walked over to where he was standing. This cast couldn't get off any sooner for her. She was tired, so tired of that damn thing. "It was just enough to finish the video hopefully. Well, more hopefully than definitely. Its hard to get out here and look for more." she said giggling as she looked at ash. "Shall head out then?"
She looked over and watched the raising moon rise over the clearing the both stood in and smiled at it. Ash may be a son of Apollo but the latter of the two was in power currently. She smiled and looked at ash "I'm sorry to have interrupted your hunting, and to think Artemis was going to give you a full moon to hunt with."

“Nice to meet you Ash” Dru said but internally winched as he spoke, The Heavy southern accent brought back bad memories of home. Something she would rather not relive. That part of her life was filled with disapproval and shunning. She never wanted to be lonely it was forced upon her. She calmly nodded and took the canteen from the boy “Thank you” she said simply before taking a sip. She really didn’t need water but she wouldn’t say no to the help.
As he got to her level she looked up at him and handed him the canteen back. “Ive been here for a couple hours.” she said using the tree behind her to help her stand back up. Her cast wasn’t hard to walk it it just made everything slower and more annoying. “Yeah I was out here filming and hadn’t realized it was getting dark till it was.” she said with a slight laugh. Yeah she goofed.

Dru wanted to shrug off his offer for help. Wanted to not ruin his evening that he had planned to help her. Honestly though she knew that she wouldn't make it back to camp at this rate. At least not before doing out of exhaustion. Apparently her last shadow travel had thrown her off course with they were off the beaten path. She was aiming for the path back towards the cabins, but maybe his presence made her think that she was closer than she actually was. Shaadow traveling was strange and she didn't enjoy using it, it made everything weird around her. She could feel like life force of all the living things around her and it made her skin crawl.
"That would be great." she said before slumping to the ground, propping her leg straight in order to not hurt it even more. "Just give me a second to get over the woozy spell." she said leaning her back against the tree, closing her eyes for a moment. She swore she was a idiot over and over again. "I'm Dru by the way." she said opening her eyes to look at the guy again.

Okay, Dru wasn't expecting the monster to be a boy. Or to respond to her for that matter. She loosened the grip on her dagger but rolled her eyes at his comment. "Who said you could hurt me." Granted she was weak but she could always do one more shadow travel, she'd pass out as soon as she did it though. She slipped the blade back into her holster and looked at the boy. "Yeah I could say the same for you. What are you doing out here anyways?" She looked around the clearing and look back at the boy. It was clear he meant to be out her unlike herself, but why in the world he would want to do that was beyond her understanding. "Do you happen to know which way is back to camp?" she asked looking around the clearing. She wasn't completely sure where her last shadow travel had landed her and she wanted to know how far she was. She leaned against a tree to catch her breath and readjust her case as she waited for a answer. Damn tree, damn wind, damn gravity.

No one ever said Dru was a clever person. She knew the footage she wanted for her short film, bed rest or not. Granted yes she fell out of a tree, but now all she had left was a cast on her right leg, not even one she couldn't walk with. She she hobbled threw the woods after her shot. Minutes turned to hours and she realized she was gonna be slow to get out of the woods. Even with shadow traveling she was still weak from the cast and couldn't go far. Her last travel had put her not far from the camp boards but she rested against a tree for a minute before pushing on through the bushes and plants.
Okay call Dru paranoid, but she swore something was watching her. She made her way into a clearing and did a three-sixty. It was much more than a gut feeling. Dru knew to trust her instincts when it came to things like this, the woods weren't exactly the safest place for demigods. And the daughter of a big three? Ever so lovely. She couldn't run, she was still too drained to shadow travel. Her hand traveled down to her tight holster and gripped one of the magically reappearing daggers. "Is someone there?" That's it Dru, greet the monster politely before it mams you. Her grandmother would be Oh so proud. Regardless she was ready.

"Wick" Dru repeated back to help her remember. It was a strange name, she liked it. She liked things that didn't fit together, that stood out. She laughed at his mannerisms though, the goofy bow and how he was talking was making her feel better already. She gave the fake curtsy she was use to from back home, the formal movements that a young Dru was forced to bare with for years. Curtsies, mam's and sirs, the fake smiles, all of the proper-ness. It made her sick to even think about. "Nice to meet you." she said, laughing slightly before grabbed her side. Damn ribs, they were such a dick.
She noticed he did the same nervous mannerism that she did and that just caused her to smile. Why had she been in that tree? "I was trying to get a shot." she said, gesturing to the cracked camera in her hand. "I was waiting for the sunrise and then a strong breeze and I wasn't paying attention and boom. Falling from the top of a tree." She said, laughing slightly at her own stupidity.

The cringe that played on his face when Dru said what happen made her laugh a little. "I know right" she said with a slight smirk. It wasn't as bad as it sounded though. She was lucky to be alive she knew that much, most of the fall was mostly her trying to catch herself on branches and slow down the velocity of the fall.
When he asked if she had taken anything she laughed a little, still rubbing the back of her neck, a awkward habit of hers, "well..." she said, giving a little smile. "They forced some in me when I first got here but not since then. It doesn't hurt that much" Maybe it did but honestly she was so annoyed with herself for letting herself fall like that. It was her own damn fault, nothing else could be said about that. "I'll be fine once I get back to my cabin." Whenever that was. She could walk but in short burst of movement. She knew Fire was back there somewhere in the room, that or he vanished back to the underworld for a bit, he did that at times. "Its Dru. What's your name?"

Note to self, Dru thought as she let out a sign. Don't turn down a nectar to go when you fall out of a tree. Her entire body hurt to breath and she was so over it at this point. She just wanted to go back to her dorm and sleep honestly. This was her own damn fault though, so she couldn't blame anyone else. But she had to admit as she looked down at the camera in her hand, that had only suffered a crack across the screen. The video was something to behold. She could always turn her film into a comedy.
She finally registered the other person when they spoke. She looked up and saw a guy looking at her concerned. He seemed familiar but she didn't think she had ever spoke to him. A small smirk popped onto her face when he started stuttering. Aw, that was adorable. She laughed slightly and nodded, "Yeah, well I mean. As fine as I can be" she said, laughing again and messing with the bandages around her arm. They were way to tight "I..um.." she said softly, a embaressed blush creeping onto her face "I feel out of the top of a tree." she said, rubbing the back of her neck awkwardly. "Nothing that won't heal though."

Okay. This looked bad. A few busted rips, scraps and cuts from head to toe, half of her body was covered in bandages and she could barley move. It could be worst. Then again, it wasn't often this happened to Dru and it wasn't often in camp someone got this injured without a monster being involved.
All she wanted was a full panoramic of sun rise for a short film she was doing. She needed to start somewhere and film contest online were the way to go. Luckily a Hermes kid found a computer she could use a few miles from camp that when she was done filming she could edit and upload it. It was a tall tree but she thought she was stable, apparently not though because the second the sun started to rise, she felt a gust and lost her balance. She was able to slow down enough by grabbing at branches before she hit the ground. It was a hard impact but she couldn't just sit here, she used all her energy left to shadow travel to the big house. Needless to say that her appearing on the doorstep passed out was a surprise to all.
Now she was sitting on the steps of the porch. She was too tired to go back to the cabin honestly. She had been asleep for hours but she was still exhausted. Now she just sat on the steps, leaned over looking a mess. Yeah, it looked bad.
