Kenji paused, putting his hands on his head as he panted, looking at the hill as he leaned against a cabin and tried to regain his breath. After a 12 lap around the camp, he was getting tired. His injury was still bugging him(You get impaled by a dragon, see how easy you shake this shit off) and he did not, repeat, did not want to go back to the infirmary. They said that parts of the dragon's blood and ....talon had chipped off into his system, and the side effects of this were still unknown. It made treating him with Ambrosia and nector harder and now it had less of an effect on him, while nature magic worked better now though. It was weird, but not something he was that concerned about. He would figure it out if this damned hole would ever fully heal.

Kenji winced, touching the wound in general. Nature spirits' healing was good and all, but it still hurt like getting slugged in the face sometimes. And hurt to. Kenji grinned, thinking," Damn. I sound like my brother now." His grin faded after a second though, going back to his usual look.



Kurtis looked across from the roofs, wondering if he had been playing to much assassin's creed or taking that bet with Kenji had been a bad idea after all. Trying to Par-cor run over the cabins was a bad idea. A very very very bad idea. But yet, He said he would, trying to out due the little prick. Kurtis shivered, wondering what he had been smoking when he made that bet. Kurtis sighed, shaking his head and lightly slapped himself, saying," Okay, it's time to nut up or shut up, and I refuse to shut up." Kurtis looked, and said," mom, don't let me break my neck when I fall."

Kurtis didn't even making it to the second roof, falling off the roof onto a waiting mattress he put there. "Well, that's over with and onto something else," he said, smirking and grabbing the mattress, quickly putting it back in the Athena's Storage room cabinets. Seriously, they had everything in there. Kurtis put the lock back on, wondering where he should go.

Kurtis came out from between the cabins, seeing his twin standing by the Poseidon cabin, resting against it. Kurtis smirked, and touched the new ring on his right ring finger, and thought," Kenji, you okay?" Kenji's head perked up, hearing the thought. The new rings let them Speak to each other when they touched the gems against their flesh. Kenji rolled his right hand into a fist, the gem touching his palm and thought back," I'm fine. My wound is still bugging me." Kurtis' eye shot up, thinking back," And your running? Your insane little brother." Kenji gave a quick smirk that faded quickly, thinking back," I'm fine. I know my limits." Kurtis nodded, and walked over, saying out loud," You sure your fine?" Kenji nodded, and Kurtis smirked, nodded and chuckled, asking," So what are the odds of Me and Jessi getting back together?" Kenji rolled his eyes, and kurtis chucked again.

Of all the days for Dru to run into a a group of stereotypical ares kids, it would be the way she had her camera and was recording camp. Of course it was strange out the mortal device could see only what the mist showed, so mostly a large farm with people around. It was strange. Of course they found it strange so what would they do? Only something people would expect them to do. Something, rash, irrational and completely idiotic. They took it and threw it on the ground. Normally she wasn't a big fighter but when they did that she attacked and nearly knocked out the one who broke it. They of course had the upper hand and she got her butt kicked.

Dru had a sour look as she walked back from her cabin, where the shattered remains of a camera sat on her bed. She was still pissed off so she went walking around camp. And should she run into them again she might destroy them. Though then she had a plan be that involved the Hermes cabin. Luckily, they were as good at pay back as everyone thought them to be. She was walking through the Cabin area when she saw two guys talking by the Poseidon cabin. They had to be siblings they looked similar, thought who they were, she had no idea to, but being Dru she knew her aura due to her rage probably screamed don't come near me, so she had to fix that. She gave them a small wave and smile, calming herself down. No need to make everyone feel death around them.

"Are you seeing what I'm seeing?" Kurtis asked his brother through the rings, smiling at the girl across the cabins waved at them. Kurtis waved back, and kenji rolled his eyes, touching the ring as he looked over. Course, Kenji stopped, Feeling.......A weird feeling of cold go down his back. A little voice in the back of his head Just told him to run the hell away, and he didn't know why. His wound flared in pain then, and he grabbed it, wincing.

Kurtis had already taken a step out to her, about to go flirt a little (He and Jessi weren't back together yet. Yeah, sure they were on better terms but not just there yet) so he was still free to have a little fun, but that changed right then. "You okay?" Kurtis asked, and Kenji nodded, looking over again with curiosity. "Why?" he wondered, looking at her. He seen her around camp before. It was that Aura. That Aura of death that made something inside him want to run for the hills. He pressed his palm to the gem and Kurtis looked back at her, then started walking over, knowing that feeling.

Kurtis removed his hand from the gem, and walked up to her, saying," What's up Dru girl?" He smiled, and then pressed the ring on his finger to his palm and said," Get over here and talk to this girl or I swear to gods I will flirt with her. Get over your nerves." Kenji looked up,leaning against the cabin and narrowed his eyes, not moving.

Dru stopped walking when she heard the sounds of footsteps coming towards her. Only one. So it clearly wasn't the ares boys, she turned around and saw one of the boys that was leaning against the cabins walking towards her, and now that she could see him clearer she recognized him slightly. He was a aphrodite boy,Kurt or something, she had seen him around camp a few times. The other one though, stayed back shooting glares this way. Very friendly she thought to herself.

He clearly knew her since he used her name when talking to her, which she didn't mind. The Hermes cabin would still be there when she got back. She gave him a slight wave and smiled "Just plotting evil revenge and stuff. You know, normal hades kid stuff." she said, feeling eyes on her and looking around the boy to the one still against the cabin wall "Um, is he glaring at me or you?" she asked, laughing lighting before looking at him "You're Kurt-Kurtis right?" she asked, finally connecting the name ro the face.

"With out a doubt, me," Kurtis stated, smiling about it. He knew it to. He touched his ring's gem to his skin, thinking," Stop glaring at me will you? Your making her nervous."

Kenji blinked, then intensified his glare at his brother even more. He gave it up after a moment, sighing. His brother was such a pain at times.

"Yeah. Names Kurtis, Son of Aphrodite," Kurtis said, looking back at dru. A chuckle escaped Kurtis's throat, asking," Has my reputation preceded me?" Course, kenji chose that moment to walk up, still frowning.

"Don't flatter yourself so much. It's ill becoming," Kenji said, making Kurtis roll his eyes at his brother.

"Don't mind the sour puss some much. He's a little shy around girls, aren't you?"

"Just because I don't fling myself at everything with a vagina doesn't mean I am shy Kurtis," Kenji retorted, making Kurtis stop for a moment.

"Point," Kurtis admitted, to Kenji rolling his eyes, putting his left fist to his right palm and giving a small bow to Dru. "Names Kenji. Son of athena and this guy's brother. How do you do?" Kenji was a bit formal when it came to greeting. Traditional to.

Strange guy she thought, he seemed cocky a bit which wasn't exactly something dru was found of and then he said his parent and that explained it all. Stereotypical Aphrodite kid of course, love kids who only love themselves. Arrogance, that was one thing she didnt stand for, but Dru still smiled slightly at Kurtis though, not wanting to be rude. "It's nice to meet you. and as for reputation I dont follow g-" she started but stopped when the other guy showed up commenting to Kurtis. They looked a lot like up close, maybe a twin?

She listened to the two bicker like old ladies back home, her eyebrow cocked slightly before the one made a comment about him flinging himself at girls and she lost it. She busted out laughing before looking at the too and shaking her head "sorry, sorry that was just. Hilarious" She was a little shocked to see when she got herself together again that he was boing at her. Kenji huh? It was strange, she was use to formal introductions and the cursing and bowing but still it felt out of place here. Wait, Athena. Brother. Dang, that was rare a single moral with two gods, wow. "I'm Dru, Hades kid."she said simply "And im good thanks." she said before looking between the two similar looking guys. Her honesty was getting the best of her after that. Kenji stopped, looking at dru and felt a mixture of Happiness and sickness. "The hell?" Kenji thought, wondering where the hell that came from. He got the happy feeling (who wouldn't like a hot girl laughing as a wiseass comment they said?) but the ech feeling he didn't get. Strange. Course, she was a bag of mixed signals for his insides.

"No problem," Kurtis said. "This guy's a bag of laughs." Kenji cocked an eye brow at Kurtis, who kenji knew what he was doing. He just slipped from player to wing man mode in three seconds flat. Kenji didn't like admitting it, but damn that was good. "And yeah. I didn't get this good just from dear old mom's skills. Dad had game to." Kenji snorted at that one, unable not to.

"No comment Kurtis," Kenji said, almost laughing. "Yeah. We're half brothers, but born the same day from different mom's. Saying were twins are easier." Kurtis rolled his eyes at that, and kenji just said," You know it's easier." Kurtis gave a dramatic roll of his eyes.

"You should of seen our rooms.One looked like a museum," kurtis said, and Kenji inturrupted," And the other looked like a hooker's room."

Theses two were something else. Dru had met some characters here at camp but these two were on the top of a long list of strange people. Then again she considered herself on the top of the list. Kurtis seem to be the talker of the two, and the standard stereotype of a aphrodite kid, but Kenji seem to be the one that knew just what to say when it came up, another stereotype for athena. The same day but different mothers thing wasnt that suprising to her but it did make her wonder about their dad. Someone who can catch the eye of two goddesses. Thats got to be a record.

She laughed again at their messing with the other. "You two are definatly brothers i have to say" she said smiling at the two, noticing Kenji was smiling slightly at her. So he does have a soul, she though to herself jokingly. Considering it looked like he wanted to shank one of them eariler, knowing them a bit more now it was probably kurtis, but still, a bit of a change in behavior. That wasnt a bad thing though. "blood related or not. You two act like brothers for sure."

"Duh," Kenji thought to Kurtis, touching the ring's gem on his finger. Kurtis turned, giving Kenji a look and just rubbed between his own eyes.

"Your an idiot Kenji," Kurtis said, and then smiled, one that spoke of pure brotherly evil/love. Kurtis looked at dru to Kenji, and Kenji didn't need a ring to know what Kurtis was thinking.

"Hey dru, I just want to say that Kenji he-," Kurtis dodged the strike at his neck, ducking behind Dru as another fist was aimed at him," Think that you are really cute." Kenji stopped, Kurtis hiding behind Dru and Kenji slowly turning red. Kurtis of course, had just an evil grin on his face and touched the ring's gem to his flesh, thinking to his brother," yeah, That's for making me worry." All in all, not bad thing. Course, then Kenji looked like he was going to flee but then just looked pissed at Kurtis and embarrassed, not really looking at Dru.

Strange things always caught Dru's eye and their behavior was one of those. They just seem to always know what the other was thinking, maybe it was a twin thing but still, strange enough to make Dru very intrested in the two boys. She could tell Kurtis would be a open book if she asked but Kenji, Kenji would be something harder to tell completely. He was a closed book.

Something told her when Kurtis started talking and Kenji nearly chopped his head off it wouldn't be good but the second he said something her face went pale then bright red. He had ducked behind her to hide from his brother and she was face to face with Kenji, who wouldn't look at her, just as embaressed as she was. Damn Aphrodite's always playing match maker. That just pissed her off and quickly her embaressed shade turned to a rage shade. She rolled her eyes and looked back at Kenji "Well if thats true, thank you. That's sweet" she said, trying to calm herself down, her voice telling it, but her head was boiling over as is. She whipped back to Kurtis "But i'll believe it when it comes out of his mouth, not yours." she said with a her classic sassy smile.

She tried to keep her gaze away from Kenji since she knew that must have been embaressing. She knew it was for her. Just then she felt something cold on her leg and saw Fire with his ghostly ways peering out of the ground at her. She knew they couldn't see him well, if at all but the Fox always knew when to show up and she smiled down at it before looking back at the two brothers.

Kurtis couldn't believe her face lit up to. "Oh my gods, it must be my birthday!" he thought, Glee on his face at this turn of events. So she was attracted to him as well. Not bad. He chuckled, then saw two sets of eyes Look at him, pissed. "Oh my gods, both of you look so pissed off. I don't get why your mad at me. It was a compliment." He smiled, pulling his sunglasses out of his pocket and slipping them on, feeling his power of persuasion growing behind his eyes. Kurtis saw his brother stop in his anger, giving him a look and Kurtis shook his head, raising his hand in a sign of 'I've got this'.


Kenji stopped in his anger, seeing his brother grab his sunglasses as he looked at dru. He knew that look, and the temptation that Kurtis was having. Course, then Dru wanted to hear it from his mouth causing his face to turn a shade lighter. "It's true," Kenji said, his cheek bones turning red.


Kurtis's eye brows up as Kenji admitted it, thinking," Aww. my little brother is growing up." Course, then the ghost appeared. Kurtis jumped back, kenji raising his eye brows at that and looking down, not really seeing anything. Course, kurtis saw the Ghost in full HD quality.

"Holy cow what the heck is that thing," Kurtis shouted, looking at it.

"What are you talking about?" Kenji asked, tilting his head.

"The ghost.....Oh yeah. My eyes," he said, touching his sunglasses and looking at it. "It's a fox Kenji," he said, and touched the gem on his hand to his skin, Kenji jumping back as He saw what Kurtis saw. A fire fox.

"Now, that's impressive," kenji said, tilting his head to the side as his brother's thought memory overlapped his memory, watching the fox. Bad thing about it, that there was a half second lag to his vision of the fox and Kurtis's.

He was laughing. He Was Laughing. Dru knew she was getting pissed off with this damn Aphrodite boy. "A compliment?" she questioned angerly but didnt finish because Kenji said something that threw her off, that he actually did. She refused to let herself blush, not this time. Fire, nudging her foot the whole time to get her attention. She was unaware he was starring right at Kurtis. "Thats sweet Kenji but still doesn't give you the right to shate information not yours to share" said towards Kurtis, her fist nearly ready to slug him across the face but stopped when he said something that completely threw her off.

"Fire" she said softly and the ghostly fox vaperated onto her shoulder, looking at Kurtis again, his tail full blaze but admitting no heat. "how can you see him?" She questioned and looked between the two. No one ever saw Fire, her own siblings sometimes. How could a ahprodite kid see him? Magical glasses? Are the not only for coolness but to show the dead. knew her face was probably riddled in confustion because she was too. These two were going to kill her with curiousity.

Kurtis tilted his head at the name, nodding at her question. Kenji was doing the same, more or less. "Well, i can at least," Kurtis said, a small grin at his brother. Kenji rolled his eyes.

" You know I just learned a move a few days ago that can make you loose your hair?"

"Low blow." kurtis answered, moving a little closer. he lowered his glasses and for a moment, His eyes flashed purple for a second, bright enought that even those that couldn't naturally see that color could. For the moment. They went back down to their regular dark hue, seeing the fox.

Then kurtis slipped his sunglasses back up his nose, covering his eyes and said," Yeah, I can see him. he's a small fox whose tail is on fire. I can see him." Both brothers were looking at the little creature, and if kurtis had to guess, he was saying that the fox looked like it was enjoying then attention and nervous by it at the same time. Well, he wasn't that good with animals.

"I can and can't. I can see him through his eyes though," Kenji said, walkinh around the fox, secretly glad that the other topic of conversation had dropped. Course, Kurtis heard that and smirked, his wise as smirk. The brothers locked eyes for a minute before Kurtis said," your a real kill joy you know that right?" kenji rolled his eyes at that, going back to the fox. "Who and what is it?"

Stranger and stranger. Dru was completely shocked that they could see fire. Whether indirectly or directly. "wait. How can you see him?" She asked still in a state of utter confusion. How could they, why could they, hoe could one see and the other kinda it just, raddled her brain. "How can you see though his eyes?" Curious and Curiouser was right. She was raddled and wanted answers

Who was fire? "Its a long story. Basically he must have died in a forest fire by my home and acts like my guardian angel. Whether he found me based on my powers or if my dad sent him I'm unsure." She said watching as the fox grew curious of kurtis and started to dissipate and form again between the brothers sniffing kenji. Fire always seem to play of her emotions and thoughts like they were connected and kept her safe. Not that she would tell the twins that, they didn't need to know about fire's abilities, heck she didnt even know if she knew them all.

Kurtis looked up, his eyes locking with Kenji as they traded thought, generally after a moment coming to an agreement. "It's...hard to explain," Kurtis started.

"Lets explain the easy part first. Course, this is one of our best tricks," Kenji said, Kurtis grinning as both twins held up a hand, showing the ring on both hands. Kurtis was leaning on his left him, while Kenji was standing in a soldier's status. It was a stark difference of relaxed and at attention.

"Our rings on our hands let us talk to each other via the mind." Kurtis and Kenji said at the same time, Kenji orchestrating that one. Kurtis was rolling his eyes, while Kenji was grinning. "From it, We can also share our vision and what we hear and experiences. But, how we can see fire is through his eyes," Kenji explained, turning his attention to Kurtis.


Kurtis blinked behind his glasses, saying," My eyes have power in them. That power gives me some enhanced vision, but I can see fire. I would guess that is because fire here loves you enough that I can. Or my eyes are getting stronger." Kurtis knew he gave her enough information to saw how, but not what his eyes did. He wasn't answering that.

"Well, that explains the fire fox at least," Kurtis thought, watching the fox move. He smirked, seeing it going over to Kenji. Kenji was looking at it with caution, unsure of what it was going to do. Kenji reached a hand out slowly, aiming to touch the little spirit.

"He's pretty cool," Kenji said at last, nodding at the little animal. He took a step closer, seeing Kurtis aiming to get away. He shot him a look, saying," Don't you dare leave." Kenji wasn't gonna get left alone. Course, that was what Kurtis was aiming for. "Still, kind of cool. You got your owe guardian spirit going for you," Kenji said,taking a small liking to the fox.
