James "Jim" Silver was finishing up his usual routine of training in the forest. Bringing his bronze club around in a deadly arc, he spun in a circle before stopping and wiping his forehead off with the back of his hand. Shrugging off his heavy pack he grabbed his last bottle of water out of it, slowly sipping it as he moved to sit under a nearby tree. Reaching inside the pack again, he pulled out his trusty ocarina, placing it in his lap. He had forgone the pants, as he usually did when he wasn't out in the mortal world. He was dressed only in an orange Camp Half-Blood t-shirt and a grey beanie to cover up his head. With the season starting to turn, he decided it would be best to keep his head a little warmer, but now he wished he hadn't done it just yet, as he was sweating into the beanie. Pulling it off his head, he sighed before throwing it into the pack.
Finishing up his water by pouring the last bit onto his face to help cool off, he ran a hand through his now thoroughly drenched hair. Flicking it forward, he got some of the water out of it before he wiped off his face. Standing back up he did a few stretches to keep himself limber and in good shape. Looking back to the ground, he picked his ocarina up from where it had fallen when he stood up. Putting it up to his lips, he tested it out and played a few notes. He smiled to himself, seemingly satisfied with the way it sounded.
Looking around at the trees, he analyzed them carefully, looking for the best one with a sturdy branch. Looking up at the tree under which his pack and club rested, he found the perfect spot. He crouched down slightly as the muscles in his goat legs tensed, before he gave a mighty leap and landed smoothly on the branch, roughly ten feet off the ground. Settling down against the trunk of the tree, he let one leg dangle off as he raised the ocarina to his mouth. He began playing a song that he had been taught by some of the Apollo campers from a game one of them had played once. It was very light and upbeat, it made the whole area of nature around him seem to come more alive. He smiled as he continued to play his song.
------------- [OOC] The song is Saria's Song from the Legend of Zelda series of games, thought you might like to know

Roxanna was in a mood again, that much was clear. As her time at Camp Half-Blood went from days to weeks to months, her temper had mellowed out considerably as she accepted that her stay at the camp would be much longer than she had first expected. However, at times the Hunter could not help but grow agitated as she remained cooped up. She was giving immortality to fight by Lady Artemis's side, yet there she was trapped in a boy-ridden half-blood camp with no Lady Artemis in sight. If not for a handful of her fellow Hunters being left along with her to protect the camp, Roxanna was positive she'd have gone absolutely mad by now. Though sisters-in-arms or no, they could not cure the boredom that would seep into her bones every now and again, or quell her urge for a good hunt.
Roxanna would not have minded taking out her agitations on an unsuspecting boy camper at all, but after her last incident of using training demigod boys as target practice, it had been strongly suggested by another Hunter that she vent in a way that would not cause any bodily harm to a fellow camper. What that method could possibly be, Roxanna had no idea. But, she heeded their words and escaped from the inner circles of the camp into the forest to blow off steam. Her beloved bow over her shoulder and favorite quiver strapped securely around her waist, Roxanna set forth to find a way to fight her growing restlessness. Who knew, perhaps she would get lucky and catch a stray monster? That would certainly aid her in clearing her mind!
The trek itself proved to lighten the girl's spirit in very little time. The familiar dance of the trees soothed her and brought back fond memories of midnight hunts and camping beneath the stars. Whispering winds wove through the branches, brushing away strands of hair from her face and reducing her stir craziness. If anything, the songs of the forest could set her mind at ease like no other. And then, the Hunter paused. It seemed as if nature itself were humming along to a faint tune being carried throughout the wood. The song was not of natural means, which meant someone else was occupying the forest as well. For a moment irritation flared within Roxanna at the thought of her solitary hike being cut so short, but it was soon replaced by the gentle murmuring of nature as it swayed along to this strange song. Hunting had been her first choice at dispelling her pent up energy, yet she could not deny that the calming music was just as relaxing.
Curiosity won over Roxanna and she altered her course in direction of the melody. Who could be behind the music? A child of Apollo? Or a satyr? Surely no other could play so remarkably. With the grace only a Hunter could possess, Roxanna wove her way towards the sound, taking care to step lightly and quickly so not to startle the music player. As she neared, the voice of the instrument grew ever clearer and louder, proudly broadcasting its tune to the quiet audience. It took Roxanna but a moment or two to realize her culprit was perched up in one of the mighty trees when she found him. It was indeed a satyr, one goat leg dangling from the branch while he relaxed. Roxanna watched, just a few feet away leaning against a tree of her own, not daring to interrupt the peaceful aura that held this small area.

Jim was very relaxed as he played on his ocarina, leaning into the tree with one leg swinging off the branch. It was the quiet moments like these that he enjoyed. No worries about defending one of the demigods, just him being at one with nature. Finishing up his song, he gently slipped the ocarina down into one of his cargo pockets before sighing in contentment. That was when something hit him, he wasn't alone. Smelling the air, he knew a demigod was nearby, one who also smelled of the woods, along with other things he had come to associate with....her. Slipping off the branch he landed on his hooves and turned to face the one that was watching him from beside a tree. He gave her a wave, "Hello m'lady huntress. Did you enjoy the music? I know this forest did, but I'm never sure about the other people who join me in the wood."
He smelled the air a few more times but couldn't smell the lady Artemis anywhere around. He was saddened by that, but figured that the goddess would have much more to do then to pop into camp. She did have much hunting to do after all. Shaking the thought out of his head he knelt down and grabbed a granola bar out of his bag and bit into it, wrapper and all. He looked up at the girl as he straightened back up and patted his pocket. "If you stick around long enough m'lady, you may get to hear more of my tunes. But for now, what brings you into the wood? If you don't mind me asking."

Roxanna held back a sigh. It had been a given that the Hunters would gain the curious attention from the camp satyrs, and more often than not Roxanna had witnessed the brief flicker of hope in their eyes as they scented the Goddess, which would fade quickly leaving bitter disappointment in them, and bittersweet amusement in Roxanna. She inhaled slowly, breathing in the familiar air of the woods. "The plants seemed to appreciate it," Roxanna said carefully. She stood straighter, crossing her arms and keeping a close eye on the satyr. The satyrs, attempting to be warm and welcoming to Lady Artemis's Hunters, could get far too close and flirty for their own goods at times. Roxanna had been forced to raise her fist, bow, or anything at hand more than once towards the half-goats, and she wouldn't hesitate to do so again.
Too avoid sending too many boys to the infirmary, Roxanna thought, however she decided that might be too harsh of a statement, and instead replied, "To cool off." She was still debating leaving the satyr behind and continuing her hunt. If this particular Goddess-chaser became too obnoxious, she would certainly vent her pent up frustrations on it and resume her hike, but she was willing to give him a chance. While satyrs could be silly around Lady Artemis, they also had much more respect for nature than most, and Roxanna could respect that. "And yourself? Most who venture into these woods are looking for a fight with a creature or two."
