James turned his head at the sound of skidding and then a loud thud. He looked over to see a rather large hellhound heading over to him, tail wagging and tongue hanging out of her mouth. He listened to her greeting and greeted her back in return. "Hello large not so scary doggy, I'm doing well today. How are you doing?" He reached his hand down and gave the friendly beasty a good belly rub, as who he assumed was the owner/partner of this one walked up to him calling a greeting. He recognized the young man as Adam, son of Athena.
He stood back up and turned to greet Adam, "Hey Adam, it's good to see you again. It really has been awhile hasn't it. I'm doing well, how about yourself? Yes, it seems your wonderful doggy here does like me a bit." He gave Adam a smile and a wave. He was friends with most of the demigods around camp.

James was taking a stroll down by the lake, it was one of the days that he had reserved for just relaxing. He had forgone his normal pack and outfit for today, just wearing a t-shirt and his favorite ball cap. He had his trusty ocarina in his hands and was simply fiddling with it while he walked along the shores of the lake. He looked out over the lake, feeling peace come over him at the pure nature around him. Placing the musical instrument up to his lips, James started to blow a happy tune on the beautiful piece of metal. He loved the way it felt to play his music, and feel the pulses of nature around him. The trees behind him seemed to sway in an invisible breeze that none could feel. All was at peace by the lake for now.

Jim was staring up at the climbing wall. He had honestly never come here before. He wasn't a big fan of the wall part, considering he could just leap from rock to rock with ease. However, he still needed the practice. With a small sigh he tensed up his legs, preparing to leap up onto the wall. "Well, here goes nothing, I guess. I could always take the route with the most lava for fun." He gave a shrug before he hopped into action. With a mighty kick he soared up onto the wall, one hoof finding purchase on a rock before he kicked off again. Twisting in mid air to avoid a boulder that was flying off the wall he landed and kept on launching off of the wall.
He started to make a game out of it after a minute of doing so. Traveling all the way around the rock wall, dodging lava and rocks, he started to laugh. Pulling out his trusty club, he began to fight off invisible enemies in the air and on the wall as he jumped around. "This is a good workout. I should have come here earlier. Now I just need a nymph to impress and I'd be golden." He gave a sad smile as he continued to move about. There weren't any nymphs at camp currently. He gave a shrug and focused back on the task at hand. It wouldn't do to have his mind wonder and injure himself on the rock wall. With one final leap he landed on the top to rest up for a moment.

It was a chilly day at camp, Jim had decided. Stepping out of the forest, he gently laid his pack down at the treeline. Reaching inside for his ocarina, he looked out over the strawberry fields. Thankfully, there was no frost on this day, so he could hopefully get some strawberries to grow for the camp. Running through a list of songs in his head he slowly walked out onto the field. He wanted something happy to play, something to lift the plants up as he imbues them with his magics. Placing his lips softly on the mouthpiece he begins to play "Walking on Sunshine." Plants sunshine, it just works in his mind.
He trotted through the rows of strawberries, playing his music and feeling the magic and plants come to life. Soon small strawberries were starting to pop up everywhere. He couldn't make them fully grow like the children of Demeter could, but he can get them started. He hoped a hard freeze wouldn't come that night. If it didn't he could come back with more energy the next night and maybe finish growing the berries. He continued to play as he walked back under the lovely tree he had placed his bag under. It seemed more vibrant and alive then the other trees around, and with his music helping it seemed to get back it's flowers. Soft looking pink buds slowly opened to reveal the petals. He sat down and leaned against it gently, continuing his music.

Jim was very relaxed as he played on his ocarina, leaning into the tree with one leg swinging off the branch. It was the quiet moments like these that he enjoyed. No worries about defending one of the demigods, just him being at one with nature. Finishing up his song, he gently slipped the ocarina down into one of his cargo pockets before sighing in contentment. That was when something hit him, he wasn't alone. Smelling the air, he knew a demigod was nearby, one who also smelled of the woods, along with other things he had come to associate with....her. Slipping off the branch he landed on his hooves and turned to face the one that was watching him from beside a tree. He gave her a wave, "Hello m'lady huntress. Did you enjoy the music? I know this forest did, but I'm never sure about the other people who join me in the wood."
He smelled the air a few more times but couldn't smell the lady Artemis anywhere around. He was saddened by that, but figured that the goddess would have much more to do then to pop into camp. She did have much hunting to do after all. Shaking the thought out of his head he knelt down and grabbed a granola bar out of his bag and bit into it, wrapper and all. He looked up at the girl as he straightened back up and patted his pocket. "If you stick around long enough m'lady, you may get to hear more of my tunes. But for now, what brings you into the wood? If you don't mind me asking."

James "Jim" Silver was finishing up his usual routine of training in the forest. Bringing his bronze club around in a deadly arc, he spun in a circle before stopping and wiping his forehead off with the back of his hand. Shrugging off his heavy pack he grabbed his last bottle of water out of it, slowly sipping it as he moved to sit under a nearby tree. Reaching inside the pack again, he pulled out his trusty ocarina, placing it in his lap. He had forgone the pants, as he usually did when he wasn't out in the mortal world. He was dressed only in an orange Camp Half-Blood t-shirt and a grey beanie to cover up his head. With the season starting to turn, he decided it would be best to keep his head a little warmer, but now he wished he hadn't done it just yet, as he was sweating into the beanie. Pulling it off his head, he sighed before throwing it into the pack.
Finishing up his water by pouring the last bit onto his face to help cool off, he ran a hand through his now thoroughly drenched hair. Flicking it forward, he got some of the water out of it before he wiped off his face. Standing back up he did a few stretches to keep himself limber and in good shape. Looking back to the ground, he picked his ocarina up from where it had fallen when he stood up. Putting it up to his lips, he tested it out and played a few notes. He smiled to himself, seemingly satisfied with the way it sounded.
Looking around at the trees, he analyzed them carefully, looking for the best one with a sturdy branch. Looking up at the tree under which his pack and club rested, he found the perfect spot. He crouched down slightly as the muscles in his goat legs tensed, before he gave a mighty leap and landed smoothly on the branch, roughly ten feet off the ground. Settling down against the trunk of the tree, he let one leg dangle off as he raised the ocarina to his mouth. He began playing a song that he had been taught by some of the Apollo campers from a game one of them had played once. It was very light and upbeat, it made the whole area of nature around him seem to come more alive. He smiled as he continued to play his song.

Jim was up at his usual time, that is to say, early. He always started his days out with an early morning run through the forest, bashing any monsters he came across with his trusty bronze club. On his back was a pack that weighed somewhere around one hundred and fifty pounds (roughly 68 kilos for our non-American writership). It was used to simulate the average weight of the demigods he may wind up having to carry back to camp if they get injured during the journey. Dressed in only a green t-shirt with a picture of Artemis holding a fork and knife on it, the letters P.E.T.A. under her picture. On the back, not that anyone could see, it said, "People Eating Tasty Animals." He leaped over a fallen log and continued his run, his shaggy black goat legs pumping hard to raised his speed even higher.
Reaching a check point only he knew about, he suddenly jumped up and started bouncing around off of the trees around him. He knew this part of the forest had no nymph trees, so he was safe from being pelted with various nuts and bits of tree. Kicking off of several tree trunks in a row he slowly rose higher into the air before starting to leap between the branches of the trees. He saw a bit of light ahead of him and knew he had almost made it to the lake, where he would take a short break to drink before he started the rest of his morning routine.
Giving a mighty yell with his last leap, he cleared the branches and did a flip, turning in the air to face back towards the forest. He landed on his hooves, one hand on the ground as he slid backwards, almost going into the lake itself. Feeling his hooves come to rest in the soft sands of the lake shore, he stood back up to face the forest. Giving a big grin, he shrugged of the pack he was carrying. Flipping it over to reveal mostly carefully stacked ingots of Celestial Bronze, he pulled out one of the three bottles of water. As he slowly drank from it, he heard someone, or something, humming a tune that he found to be familiar. Giving a small smile he chuckled to himself before turning to see someone a little ways down the lake side. Picking his back back up he trotted down the lake to beside her, singing a bit as he arrived. "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. Well, it is almost that time isn't it? Hello there, I didn't expect anyone to be up this early like I am. The name's James Silver, people call me Jim. Satyr extraordinaire, at your service, Ms?" As he spoke he gave the girl in front of him a smile.

Roxanna & James!
I'd enjoy seeing the two of them interact myself, so I'm down for anything with this plot line. Especially with his love of Artemis. He would probably wind up gushing about her and driving the girl off the first time they met.

I actually messed up the plotter at this part (now fixed). The two of them shouldn't have any problems interacting as it wasn't a child of Apollo that was killed, and he would tell her the story, provided that she asked him in a polite enough way.
Cassi & James!
I think these two could form a sort of bond, especially because of her respect for what he does. A lot of demigods just forget about their protectors after they arrive at camp and start training, so this would be a wonderful thing. Don't worry so much about her chilly aura, he has furry legs.
