Relaxing Music [Adam]

James was taking a stroll down by the lake, it was one of the days that he had reserved for just relaxing. He had forgone his normal pack and outfit for today, just wearing a t-shirt and his favorite ball cap. He had his trusty ocarina in his hands and was simply fiddling with it while he walked along the shores of the lake. He looked out over the lake, feeling peace come over him at the pure nature around him. Placing the musical instrument up to his lips, James started to blow a happy tune on the beautiful piece of metal. He loved the way it felt to play his music, and feel the pulses of nature around him. The trees behind him seemed to sway in an invisible breeze that none could feel. All was at peace by the lake for now.

Adam's hell hound Angel just absolutely loved the lake. It seemed like on every nice day, the large 10 foot brown hell hound was begging her owner and friend to take her down there to chase and try and make friends with the local squirrels. She had been doing this all day long while Adam trained, ate and tried to draw. It finally had gotten to the point where the large Hell hound had placed her head in the young Athena child's lap and began to do her best puppy eyes. Adam knew that she wasn't gonna let up and so he finally got up off his bed.

"Fine you big old baby! Let me change clothes really quick."

Angel grunted and let out a few happy barks and began to run around the room. Adam just laughed and quickly changed into a fresh camp shirt, a pair of cargo shorts, his sneakers and lastly his favorite leather jacket. He then climbed onto Angel's back and petted her big old head causing her to pant happily. He then kissed the top of her head.

"To the lake girl!"

Angel then tossed her head back with a loud bark and ran towards a shadow filled wall in the corner of the room prompting Adam to hold his breath as the shadow swallowed them up whole and they began to shadow travel through the darkness. Angel loved to do this even though it made Adam feel a bit sick if he did it to much. He wouldn't deny Angel the oppertunity to use her gifts however because the more she did it, the better at it she became. As light returned to Adam's vision, he and Angel jumped out of the shadow of a large tree and skidded to a stop. Without even trying to catch himself, Adam rolled off of Angels back and landed on the ground with a hard thud. 

"That never gets easier on the stomach."

It wasn't long until Angel spotted James and quickly rushed over to him with a happy expression. As she reached him however she stopped right in front of him and sat down on her back legs and barked a greeting to him as if to say "Hi goat friend! How are you today!" She then dropped down to her stomach and rolled over on her back with her legs up in the air and began panting happily as she waited to get a belly rub from her goat friend. Seeing this,Adam stood up and began walking over to James.

"Hi Mr.James, it's been a little while hasn't it? How have you been? It seems you have a big fan in my pal here."

James turned his head at the sound of skidding and then a loud thud. He looked over to see a rather large hellhound heading over to him, tail wagging and tongue hanging out of her mouth. He listened to her greeting and greeted her back in return. "Hello large not so scary doggy, I'm doing well today. How are you doing?" He reached his hand down and gave the friendly beasty a good belly rub, as who he assumed was the owner/partner of this one walked up to him calling a greeting. He recognized the young man as Adam, son of Athena.

He stood back up and turned to greet Adam, "Hey Adam, it's good to see you again. It really has been awhile hasn't it. I'm doing well, how about yourself? Yes, it seems your wonderful doggy here does like me a bit." He gave Adam a smile and a wave. He was friends with most of the demigods around camp.

Adam smiled as James greeted him by name. It was always nice when the saytrs of camp knew you by name and were so friendly toward you. As Jame's rubbed Angel's belly, Adam walked over to James and sat down next to him with a smile and watched as Angel's left back leg kicked happily. Adam couldn't help but watch with interest and curiosity as James talked to Angel as if he could understand her. This made Adam turn his body to face James.

"Are you able to properly understand her? I know Saytres can talk to animals but I didn't know that extended to monsters as well. That's really cool actually. Angel and I just kinda communicate through body language and face motions. Sometimes since I can't actually understand her, i'll use an accent when speaking for her or i'll talk to her like we are having a conversation. She always ends up southern like me though."

Adam chuckled and joined James in rubbing Angel's belly up until she flipped back onto her feet and began rubbing her head against Adam's neck, licking it softly causing Adam to laugh and hug her around the head. She then laid down on her belly and rested her head on Adam's left leg but didn't break eye contact with James as she gave him big puppy like eyes.

"I'm okay Mr.James goat friend! My owner friend Adam is super good to me! Last night he had the floating ladies in the food place give me a boneless steak with dog food gravy! It was so yummy! He fussed at me though cause I accidently drooled on one of his art page things. He's not mad at me anymore though. I am really good Mr.goat friend, though my owner friend gave me this dry doggy food the other night and I didn't much like it. It was too crunchy, I don't like crunchy."[/font]

As Angel mentally spoke with Angel, a chubby little squirrel made his way over to the group and climbed up onto her big head and laid down causing Angel to smile. Seeing how content angel was made Adam smile.

"So what have you been up to Mr.James?"
