A Hare-y Situation (Theo&&Saphron&&Hailey)

Saphron stood up and brushed herself off before she looked at her brother. "I dunno why she didn't come to us earlier. Maybe she was scared and she didn't have the balls... I mean the horns? Oh I don't know." She shook her head slowly as she crossed her arms across her chest. "Maybe she did get help before or at least tried? It must've failed if she came to us after so long..." She sighed as she glanced over at the books that Theo was going through earlier.

"But the spell you found... does it require anything... special?" Worry crept into her eyes as she looked at her brother. "Like... a human sacrifice or something? Because I draw the line at that. I already burn pizza for mother. I don't want to put my life on the line for a hunter, even if her intentions were noble..." She sighed as she looked off into the distance. "Poor thing found love and is now horny. Such a shame."

Man, Saphron was on point tonight with the comments. He wasn’t sure if the Hailelope was getting all this but Theo was certainly loving it. This was why Saph was his favorite sister. “Well balls, horns or whatever it looks like she showed up at just the right time. I wouldn’t have even had this spell a week ago so I guess she lucked out showing up when she did, or rather she will luck out when we get her changed back.”

Theo thought for a moment on the components they would need for the transformation spell. Certainly nothing as serious as human sacrifice. That was blood magic and even Theo hadn’t quite worked himself up to that kind of stuff yet. They would need something though and seeing as Hailey had been a jackalope for so long he was beginning to wonder if it would be difficult to find. “Don’t worry. We won’t be killing anything but will need something close to her. A possession. Something that holds a strong memory of her. Anything will do I guess but certainly the closer it was to her when she was…eh…not so furry the better.” He paused for a moment and called over to his bed. "You hear that our furry friend? Any help would be appreciated."

Hailey just watched from her spot underneath the bed as she watched everything unfold. They found out that Artemis did this to her... but she thought everyone knew who did this to her. How long had it been since she was human? Was it more than a year? But then the girl was able to remember her name. Yes! Yes! she wanted to scream out. They uncovered so much in the short amount of time she was here. But this ritual... they needed her possessions. Did she have any left? Did the other hunters throw it out as soon as she broke her oath. She didn't know, but it was worth a shot.

She crawled around the boy's stuff before she emerged from underneath the bed and looked up expectantly at both of the Hecate kids.

"Okay..." Saphron mumbled to herself as she scrunched her face up in concentration. "So we need like... her favorite t-shirt or a stuffed animal?" She slowly nodded her head to that idea. "Okay... Okay..." She straightened up as she noticed that Hailey the Jackalope hopped out from underneath the bed. "Oh Theo!" she cried out as a big smile took over her face. "She agrees to the idea! We must do it right away!"

She immediately went over to her set of drawers and pulled them open before yanking out every bit of clothing that she had in black. "Now, we need to sneak through a window in the Artemis cabin..." she said as she pulled out clothes. "Well... Theo, you can go through the window, because I won't fit... but I'll knock at the front door and keep them distracted while you go through the window and grab Hailey's stuff. She'll go with you to show you what is hers." She paused for a moment as he glanced over at her brother. "Does that sound like a plan to you?"

Theo waited for some kind of response to his call and sure enough after a moment or two the little jackalope poked its head out from under his bed. That was good or at least might be good. Maybe this Hailey girl could still understand them. If so then that would make this process much easier in the long run. If not then they would definitely have to do some investigative work on their own and if there was one thing Theo didn’t like it was the word ‘work’.

Turning his attention back to his sister he nodded in agreement as she quickly began working things out. “Yeah any personal affects like that would do the trick I imagine. She’s lost her true form but sacrificing something that was close to her should allow us to recall it.” Theo watched as his sister ran to her dresser and began assembling a costume fit for a ninja. He chuckled at the sight as he watched her because he didn’t think they were going to have to go all mission impossible here. Besides, if all else failed he was sure they could work up some magic to get in, grab something and get out again without too much trouble. There was no need to over think things.

“Hold on there James Bond. Yeah we could do all that oooooooooooooooooooor we could just knock and ask them if they have anything. The hunters would probably be a little more willing to help if they didn’t think I was some kind of perv sneaking into their cabin for some kind of panty raid or something like that.” He paused and nodded to the Hailelope. “Why don’t we let her decide? She should know better than we do if her sisters would be willing to help. Maybe she can give us one hop for yes, two for no?”

Hold on there James Bond. Yeah we could do all that oooooooooooooooooooor That sentence made Saphron lift her head up and slightly glare at her brother. "Are you telling me that I just pulled out all of my black clothes for nothing? I don't care Theo if they think you're a perv or whatnot. They've sworn off men for a reason, even if they're very silly reasons." She sighed as she looked down at her pile of clothes while mumbling underneath her breath about having to fold them and put them away again.

She sighed as she looked down at the jackalope. "So what's it gonna be, Hailey?" she asked the little one. "Are your sisters or fellow hunters or whatever they're called gonna help or do we have to do this the old fashioned way?"

Hailey sat there as she looked between the two siblings bickering. Were her sisters going to help them? Maybe... but at the same time, I could see them be worried that Artemis would get mad at them for helping the one who broke her oath. But she needed to be human... she didn't want to be a jackalope anymore... she swore the longer she stayed in this form, the more she forgot what it was like to be human.

But then the questioned was turned to her. Would they help? One hop for yes, two for no. Hailey had to pause and think about it for a moment. Would they help her? After that moment, she finally hopped once for yes. They would help them or she at least hoped so.

Theo caught Saphron’s glares but didn’t really care. There were better ways to lose your head than to have it shot off by angry hunters. Instead he motioned for her to continue if she wanted. “Oh no, by all means dress up like a ninja if that works for you. I just don’t want to end up with an arrow between my eyes. I’m far too young and good looking for all of that.”

He fixed Saph with a placating gaze and then turned his attention back to the Hailelope to see her answer. For a moment he wondered if he was right in thinking that Hailey could still understand them but sure enough after a few moments she gave one very noticeable hop. “Well there you have it Saph. Hailey thinks they’ll help so it’s worth a shot at least. Still, we’ll probably want to bring a few spells just in case we have to make a scene.” He paused for a second in thought and then continued. “Tell you what Saph. Go ahead and get ready to go, I’ll work us up some spells and since I’m sure Hailey is about done with this whole horny bunny thing we’ll head on over to the Artemis cabin and see what we can do. That sound like a plan that everyone is good with?”

Saphron sighed and rolled her eyes as she haphazardly threw her clothes back into her drawers. The folding would have to wait later, since Theo was too vain to worry about helping their horny friend in the most direct and efficient way as possible. Too bad this wasn't like Harry Potter and she could just flick a wand and all of her clothes would fold by themselves. She kept an eye on her little furry friend, just in case she needed to pull out all of her black clothes again.

One hop. The Artemis cabin would help them and Saphron groaned and muttered underneath her breath as she shoved the last of her black clothing into her drawers. "Well, I don't need these anymore if we're not sneaking into the cabin anymore." She turned around to face Hailey as she walked over to scoop up the bunny and held her close to her chest. "The horny one and I are ready to go whenever you are Theo. And I would suggest you bring a head-protecting spell too, because they might shoot an arrow at you anyways."

Theo grinned. He had done it now. With Saphron in a bad mood she might very well be grumpy with him all night. Oh well. He did try to make amends. More than likely she would get over it quickly especially if they had the chance to pull off this new spell and get Hailey back to her original form which, if everything went well at the Artemis cabin, they probably would. There was nothing like burning a little midnight oil to work some new magic.

“Alright, alright give me a minute.” He said as he went to his closet and grabbed a jacket with several pre-prepared runes glowing on it. Saph did have a point that the hunters might try and pin cushion him with arrows even if he did ask nicely so he thought that having a few protection spells ready to go would be a good idea. Hopefully they wouldn’t be necessary but you never could tell with those boy hating hunters.

“Alright ladies. We should be prepared for just about anything now. Next stop is the Artemis cabin and then hopefully for Hailey we can stop that...err...horny problem she has.” Theo chuckled again and hoped all this wouldn’t come back to haunt him. The hunters weren’t exactly known for their great senses of humor after all but maybe this Hailey girl would be the exception. He knew that he would be pretty happy to get back into human form if he was in her shoes or paws or whatever.
