You Were Trouble (Mickey)

Dakota was furious.

She spent all night in the infirmary pulling another shift so she hadn't been her cabin all night. As soon as she got out, she got reports that Mickey, her most favorite brother, brought home another bedmate last night and exiled all their siblings out of the cabin. Some people, like Dakota, were lucky that they had a place to stay. But for the others, especially the newer ones that didn't have many friends, they were out of luck for a place to stay. And considering how Mickey liked to do this on almost a nightly basis, Dakota was so over it.

She grabbed a box from the infirmary and stormed over to her cabin. She didn't feel like she just stayed 12 hours overnight in the infirmary. She renewed her energy out of anger. She slammed opened the door and her eyes scanned the cabin before they landed on Mickey.

"Do you have any decency?" she snapped as she stormed over to his bed and threw the box at him. She purposely missed his face, not like the box of condoms would hurt him. "Do you always have to think with your second head and bring someone home? You know other people live here too."

"Do you have any decency?" He glanced towards the sound to see a very pissed looking Dakota coming straight towards him, words angrily being spat. An object came flying towards him, barely missing his face. He sat straight up, his contagious laugh spilling out of him. Mickey's legs swung over the edge of his bed so he could face her.

"Me? Decent? I dunno sis, last time I checked there was a severe lacking of that..." he teased, an obnoxious smirk on his face. "And I'm a bit offended, honestly. In my opinion my second head makes great decisions. I mean did you see his ass?" He loved to be an insufferable ass. He especially loved to be one towards his half-sister, as she was both older and had more authority than him. Besides, it was so easy to push her buttons.

Dakota hardened her glare as Mickey had the nerve to laugh. The nerve! She marched over to him as she crossed her arms and glared down at him. She raised her eyebrows at the mention of her brother's bedmate's ass. "I usually don't look or touch anything you've contaminated, Mickey," she hissed as she tilted her head to the side. "And you might want to work on your decency. Others have to sleep here too. I don't want drag your ass to Chiron because you keep wanting ass."

She raised her eyebrows as she jabbed her chin towards the box of condoms. "And please tell me you're using them. I don't want to be an aunt because of your stupidity."

He raised his eyebrows at her, holding back more laughter. "C'mon, Kota. Will getting me in trouble really solve anything? You know I'll be right back at it." He followed her gaze to the box of condoms, the smug look on his face disappearing. "Shit." he muttered lowly, running a hand through his hair.

Had he used a rubber with Jessi? He wracked his brain trying to remember, but didn't come up with anything. He could only hope she was on the pill or that he had just been too drunk to remember putting one on. He had forgotten condoms in the past with nothing bad happening, so why would that change now? He glanced back at Dakota, a look of worry in his eyes. "Uhh.. yeah," he said unconvincingly.

Dakota rolled her eyes as she looked down at Mickey. "It might solve something. Who knows," she tilted her head to the side and smirked a bit. "Maybe Chiron can get you fitted for one of those male chastity belts. It might help with the rate of STI's running around camp. Gods know that you're putting our mother to shame."

Her eyes narrowed at her brother after his reaction after the mention of using condoms. He didn't... did he? She uncrossed her arms and put her hands on her hips. "Are you telling me you're not protecting yourself?" She reached out to smack her brother upside of the head. "How could you be so stupid? Do you want the poor girls pregnant or give them your STI's?

"Ow! Jesus, Kota!" He whined, rubbing where he hit her. "I do! Usually." he exclaimed. "...Okay, sometimes. But I don't have anything! And I don't think I've ever knocked anyone up so..." He was right about not having anything. For all the shits he didn't give, he actually cared quite a bit about his penis and hell if he was going to let something happen to it. As for the whole pregnancy thing... Well he had yet to get any letters asking for child support, so he just assumed that there were no little Mickeys running about.

"Besides, they could always just get an abortion. I mean, can you imagine? Me a dad?" He joked, using humor to deflect any anxiety he was feeling.

"So you think you don't have anything," Dakota said as she rolled her eyes. "Gods, Mickey, some people don't have any symptoms when they contract an STI. Of course, you would be the one person who might fall under that. Do you even get regularly tested? Do you ask your partners about their sexual history?" But then he said something that made her narrow her eyes at him.

"Just get an abortion?" Dakota sighed louder before she smacked her brother again. "Are you that dumb Micky?" she snapped at him. "You just can't just get an abortion. It's a major medical procedure. It's saying like you can just get your appendix removed." She glared at him as she crossed her arms across her chest. She nodded her head towards the box of condoms. "You better be using them, because having an abortion or a baby isn't cheap. You remember that Mickey. And if I find out you walked out on a girl you knocked up..." She uncrossed her arms it jab a finger into his face. "You better run to Hades, because he'll be more forgiving than I'll be."

He rolled his eyes right back at her, mimicking her town of voice. "I know I don't have anything because I do get regularly tested. I'd rather die than having something happen to..." he trailed off, gesturing towards his crotch. She slapped him again for the abortion comment and his hand went to his face, cupping his stinging cheek.

"For a doc you sure like to hit people," He muttered, glaring up at her. He was pretty used to being smacked though, especially by Dakota. She seemed to have a great love of hitting him. "And I'm not an idiot, sis. I know that shit is expensive, but I'd rather spend a few hundred than deal with some snot-nosed kid for 18 years."

Dakota rolled her eyes and groaned as Mickey motioned down to his crotch. When it came to Mickey's sexual health, Dakota was the one sibling who probably knew too much than what was good for her. But there was a reason why she stole boxes upon boxes of condoms to throw at Mickey. Deep down, she did care about her brother even if he was an ass a good majority of the time.

"I'm not a doctor," Dakota said coolly as she looked back over at her brother. "I'm a nurse-in-training. I have more... liberties than the average doc and that includes smacking dumb brothers." She sighed loudly as she looked up at the ceiling praying to her mother to give her the strength not to hit her brother again, since her hand was starting to hurt. "Think a few thousand dollars," she said as she looked back down at her brother. "Unless you're getting black market stuff, a safe abortion is a few thousand dollars."

He shrugged, yawning to show his absolute indifference towards the topic. "And? I used to make 50 thousand, easy. Besides, I wouldn't be surprised if there's already tiny baby versions of me in Hades," Everything was a joke to him. It was how he dealt with life. When everything tended to suck so much, why not make a joke out of it?

"Don't worry, okay? I'll talk to Jes- her about it. She's probably on the pill anyways," He concluded. He was lying, of course, but he had always been a good liar. The last thing he was going to do was sit down and have some stupid talk about babies with Jessi. He'd much rather continue their no-strings-attached fling.

"Oh gods, Mickey," Dakota said as she inwardly groaned and looked up at the ceiling again. "Did you have to make that joke?" But of course he did. It was her baby brother after all, despite how stupid and dumb it came to be about the ways of life. She took a deep breath before looking back at her brother. "Whatever makes you feel better," she quickly said, trying not to think of all the girls he potentially knocked up. For all she knew, it was more than what she could count on both hands.

She pursed her lips together as he mentioned he would talk to the girl. She would've loved to believe that the girl was on birth control, but that wasn't always the case. Maybe he would learn the hard way for once. Dakota finally nodded her head. "Okay," she said simply. "You go do that. You go talk to her and make sure everything's alright."

He bit his lip, avoiding eye contact. "See the thing is like we don't really talk about stuff like that..." he mumbled. That was more the type of thing couples talked about. Or at least people with feelings for each other. He and Jessi were neither of those things. They were just two teens hooking-up, and if they did talk it was nothing but sarcasm and witty remarks.

Mickey didn't do what boyfriends did. He had never been on a date or bought anyone flowers or chocolates. He never answered his phone unless it was for a hook-up and hell if he let people stay the night. He had never even cuddled someone until Jessi, quite confused upon waking up with her in his arms. She was still asleep when he woke up, curled up against him like she actually needed him. He felt a flutter in his chest but quickly shoved it down. No one needs me.

See the thing is like we don't really talk about stuff like that... Dakota raised her eyebrows at that statement. How could he not talk to girls about those kinds of things. How did he managed to even get consent in the first place? She crossed her arms over her chest as she looked down at her brother. She could tell he felt awkward about the entire thing. Dakota sighed.

"Mickey, listen," she said as looked down at him. "I know it's awkward that I know your sex life probably better than the others in this cabin, but communication is important in relationships, whether it's a one night stand or something more serious. But you need to talk to her. You need to make sure she's okay. It takes two to tango, Mickey."

"Oh my Gooods," he groaned, "Never say that again." he referenced to the tango comment. As if it wasn't bad enough having his sister lecture him on safe sex. Come to think of it, Mickey had never actually gotten the sex talk from his father or otherwise. He just had kind of... figured the whole thing out himself.

"Honestly, Kota. You shouldn't be so interested in my sex life." he muttered, arms crossed. Around his sister he seemed to backtrack to acting a bit younger, as if he was finally getting the chance to be a kid. Besides, every sister needs an annoying little brother.

Dakota rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms over her chest. She looked down at her brother as she raised an eyebrow at him. "I honestly don't want to be interested in your sex life, but it becomes my problem when you drag people here. I'm the cabin leader and what happens here is my problem. If you don't want me to know, then don't shack up here. Simple as that."

She put her hands up in defeat as she backed away. "But I think you've had enough of a sex talk before. Just don't sexile our siblings, okay? They have to sleep here too."
