Now they were talking. It was really amazing what you could do with a little booze and as Kaylee seemed to loosen up and really start to enjoy herself it was obvious that they had made the right choice in coming here. Kaylee hadn’t known what she was missing out on and fortunately Jen had been in the right place to show the sickeningly sweet little Victoria girl how to have a good time. Had Fortuna smiled on them a little today? Possibly. Either way Jen got to do her act of public service for the year.

Jen chuckled as she watched Kaylee try out some moves of her own. As it turned out Kaylee wasn't half bad when she got a little drunk. At least the girl seemed to be having fun and that meant their little experiment could continue. Dancing around behind her so that Jen could lead into a few dance moves herself she turned Kaylee to face a group of fourth cohort boys that were eyeing them pretty closely. Leaning in to whisper into Kaylee’s ear as they danced she said. “See what you’ve been missing out on? A little drinking, some music, people to talk to and dance with…this is what life’s all about and it looks like other people are taking notice of what a good time you’re having too.”

Kaylee was just having a grand ole time as she danced around to the music and followed some of Jen's dance moves. It was something she was missing out on slightly. But she could have fun. Fun was something she would like to do more often. Maybe she had to break away from her fifth cohort and join their next door neighbors. It was all a good time until Jen started whispering in her ear. There were boys over there checking them out and that made Kaylee flush a little bit. Was this the next step in the training?

Kaylee decided she needed one more hit from the bottle before she felt her confidence kick back up. "They can watch," she said as she nodded her head. "They're just missing out on the fun." And with that, she continued dancing, not caring about what that group of boys would think of her.

Jen chuckled softly as she continued dancing with Kaylee leading her into a moves that would be sure to get the group's attention. “That’s the spirit. Make them come to us. Don’t want to make things too easy on them do we?” She wasn’t even really sure if Kaylee would understand that she was talking about flirting with the boys judging by everything else that had happened today she would have bet that before tonight Kaylee’s experience with boys was severely lacking at best and that meant it would be something they would definitely have to work on.

“Watch them. They’ll come like a bug to a flame if we keep dancing out here. Who knows you may even get to dance with someone other than me.” Getting Kaylee to go out and do a little talking and flirting on her own was definitely the next stage of her development. Jen would just have to keep a careful eye on the girl to make sure that she didn’t take things too far. Still, it would be some valuable experience for the girl in the future.

Make them come to us? Kaylee wasn't quite sure what Jen was getting at. It couldn't have been flirting, could it? Kaylee never really flirted. She was just nice to everyone. That kind of counted, right? Well, Kaylee didn't let it worry her too long as she took another sip out of her bottle. She was pretty sure the alcohol killed her taste buds and the lining of her throat because it no longer burned when she drank it.

But she kept dancing and following Jen's moves. In the back of her mind, she was acutely aware that the boys were watching her, but she tried not to pay too much attention to them. "As long as they're a good dancer," Kaylee giggled with a bit of a smirk before she took another sip of her bottle.

“A good dancer is always nice but not everything.” Jen said swaying her hips in a suggestive manner for Kaylee to imitate. “Dancing, a boy can learn but he needs to be someone you can have fun with.” Jen chuckled. If she had really been looking for a conquest there were many more important qualities to look for than just a good dance partner. Every girl was different of course but Jen always like those with more malleable personalities.

“You’ve got to make sure you’re in control when it comes to finding interesting boys to hang out with at parties. If things turn out well you don’t want to make the mistake of going home with the wrong guy after all…” Jen was enjoying being the teacher. Who knew maybe she would make a good one if this whole New Rome thing didn’t pan out. She could keep some little brats in line for a few hours she thought. “…but that might be a little advanced for you right now. Maybe you should just try to get some experience talking to the boys here before we go that far. Get your flirt on girl.”

Someone she could have fun with? Well, that wasn't too hard of a requirement. Kaylee liked to have fun and some guys were fun to be around. That kind of seemed like a no brainer, but at the same time, everything seemed to be so new to Kaylee. Especially now that she had a buzz in her and Jen was leading her into moves that her hips have never done before. But she was looking at Jen intensely as she nodded her head as she was told what to do. Flirt with a few boys but probably not go home with them? She could possibly do that.

After a few minutes, she nodded her head. "Okay. I'll be back," she said with a slight smirk before she turned around and walked up to those boys. She was going to talk and flirt with them and it was going to be fun. Maybe Jen teaching her like this was not so bad after all.

Kaylee seemed to decide that it was okay to flirt with the boys and with a smirk she promised to be back. Jen watched her progress towards the group with interest and after a moment followed wanting to see how the girl would handle herself in this new situation. Jen supposed there could be some risk for Kaylee to run into the wrong type of boys here, the kind that Jen usually enjoyed playing with and then leaving with blue balls as she walked away the conquer, but she also knew better than anyone that sometimes a little risk is involved if you want to get good things out of life.

Walking a short distance behind her pupil Jen pulled one of the boys aside and gave him a playful grin. "See that girl over there?" She asked him in a sugary sweet time that was quite uncharacteristic of her. "You and your friends go easy on her and you just might be the luckiest guy here tonight." She leaned in closer and whispered in his ear. "She's a first time so nothing too savory. As for me, well let's just say I like boys who can follow orders." With that she pushed the boy back towards his friends and Kaylee and set back to see what happened.

Flirting was pretty okay with these guys. They were mean or scary as she thought they would be. Maybe this wasn't so bad after all. She did notice that one of them kept nervously off to the side and when she followed his gaze, it went back to Jen. Kaylee scrunched her eyebrows a bit. Why would that boy be nervous over Jen? She was pretty nice once you got past her grumpy exterior. But she didn't let it bother her for long because one of the boys said something funny and Kaylee laughed a little too loud. "That's funny," she giggled before she took another sip of her bottle.

She noticed the guy eye Jen again and Kaylee turned to him. "She's my friend, you know," she said with a bit of a smile. "And I promise she doesn't bite. She's only grumpy sometimes." And then she turned to Jen as she tried to wave her over.

Jen didn’t know why the boy kept looking back at her like a moron. Obviously no one had ever taught him the art of being subtle. It was Kaylee that he was supposed to be talking to and his stupidity had already gotten the Victoria girl to notice her in the background. Jen would play it cool for now but the boy was not doing himself any favors here. Instead she smiled and gave a pleasant wave to the pair hoping the idiot boy would get the picture and mingle.

Eventually they did get to talking some though Jen could tell Kaylee needed a little more practice before she would be able to go at it alone. Then again that was precisely what Jen was for and when she was waved over she made her way over to check on the girl. “Hey little lamb did you miss me or were you too busy chatting up Sir Talksalot here?” She wrapped an arm around Kaylee and the boy and moved them closer. “Say Kaylee have you even asked our friend here to dance yet? Maybe you can try out a few of those moves I showed you.”

"Sir Talksalot?" Kaylee asked as she scrunched her eyebrows together. "But his name is Keith. He's a son of Mercury." But Kaylee didn't notice that Jen was trying to push her closer to the boy until she was a mere few inches away from him. Her face heated up a bit as she looked over a Jen a bit with wide eyes. "Dance?" she squeaked a bit before she decided to drink some more. And instead of a sip, she chugged it a bit before setting it down on a chair besides them.

"You want to dance?" she asked with her restored confidence as she grabbed Keith's hand and led him to the dance floor to show him her moves that she discovered a little bit ago.

Jen chuckled as Kaylee proceeded to tell her a little more than she expected. Maybe she was better at this than Jen had thought originally. ’Well Jupitor can fuck as a whore. She did alright.’ The Fortuna girl thought as she grinned at the pair. Granted she was putting the boy up to this but it looked like he was playing along alright at least after Jen had pushed them together and gotten the ball rolling a little bit. In any case they were headed on the dance floor and that was really what mattered.

“Have fun kids. Don't do anything I wouldn't do.” She called to them cheerfully and gave Kaylee a wink as she watched the girl take a little initiative and lead the boy away. Jen could enjoy the show from the sidelines but as long as Kaylee was having fun her mission had been a success tonight. The little creampuff might not remember any of this in the morning considering how much she was drinking but if she was going to have the full party experience might as well go for the hang over as well. It was kind of poetic really. The day had started with Jen’s hangover and now Kaylee was the one getting hammered. Jen was sure some philosopher would probably have some fantastic shit to say about all that but for now it was just fun to watch.

Don't do anything I wouldn't do. "That doesn't leave a lot," Kaylee muttered to herself as she led the boy, Keith, onto the dance floor. It seemed like it was more packed than before, but she managed to maneuver the two of them to a slightly less packed spot on the outskirts of the Dance Floor. Once their spot was secured, Kaylee turned around to grab Keith's hands to start dancing with him. It wasn't anything too raunchy, at least, to begin with. There was some room between them and Kaylee was having fun. She was giggling and laughing as she danced while her liquid courage kicked in full force period every now and then, she looked over at Jen and smile at her to check in with her.

Jen watched the two as they moved out onto the dance floor just to make sure everything was going well. Kaylee wasn't doing anything too wild and crazy which wasn't going to go very far to flirting with the boy but she did seem to be having fun. That said there were other ways to have fun at parties besides flirting with boys. Come to think of it Kaylee might not even like them that way. Jen would have to get some clarification on that later but for now she was growing bored with watching and decided that she needed to rejoin the fun when Kaylee waved to her.

Jen danced out onto the floor getting lost in the crowd for a bit until she finally stumbled upon Kaylee and the boy. "What's wrong sunbeam? It's not getting too wild for you is it?" She called over the music as she got close to the pair. “Go ahead and let loose, have a good time, or do you just need some more drink to loosen you up a bit more?”

Kaylee kept on dancing with the boy and having fun before she noticed that Jen wasn't in her spot a moment before. It really didn't bother the Victoria girl much as she kept dancing with the boy. He seemed to be having as much fun as she was having. She kept dancing until Jen stumbled upon them.

Was this getting too wild for her? Kaylee didn't think so as she shook her head, but she got the feeling that Jen found this a little too tame. And she was her teacher for today anyway, so Kaylee wanted to make her proud. She shook her head at the mention of the drink and grabbed both of Keith's hands as she put them on her hips and started doing moves that Jen was showing her how to do earlier. Kaylee was still having fun and the boy looked like he was really starting to enjoy himself.

Things here were a little tamer than Jen was used to but that was okay. If the boy followed through on his end of the bargain then things could get a lot more fun a little later maybe after they had dropped the kids off at the barracks. That being said there wasn't really any reason to rush and besides, Kaylee could probably use all the practice she could get. More important though was keeping this Keith guy engaged and interested. Boys were fickle things after all and in constant need of pretty distractions.

Jen nodded appreciatively as Kaylee grabbed the boy's hands and re-positioned them so that she could really start dancing. "Yeah there you go Kaylee. Show him what a damn sexy bitch you are." Jen laughed and joined in the dancing deciding that the best way to keep this Keith boy interested was to give him two beautiful ladies to dance with. After all she had never met a guy alive who wasn't excited by the prospect of more attention from lovely ladies.
