"I can show you if you want me too." She said with a grin as he went to get a bandage. "It's not like I like showing off or anything." She was being sarcastic of course. Tawny loved showing off her tricks. What was the point of doing something cool if you only kept it to yourself after all. If Archer was really interested and she saw no reason why he wouldn't be she would take him out to the skate park aka New Rome and really show him some good ones. Right now though it looked like he was almost finished patching her up.

"Yeah you can have a lot of fun with dreams. I've been doing it since I was little and I haven't even found all the possibilities. It's also fun to just sit back and watch sometimes too. Dreams can tell you a lot about a person." She watched as the boy put the bandage on her knee. It didn't hurt nearly as bad now that she was all patched up and he had done a pretty good job of that to boot. She supposed she owed Archer a few candies after that but for Tawny the stealing had never really been an issue. Instead she was just happy he had turned out to be a pretty cool guy in the end. "You’re pretty handy to have around you know?" She said with a smirk as she moved she moved her leg around admiring the work. So what do I owe ya doc?”

Archer chuckled a bit as he noted the sarcasm in Tawny’s voice. He eyed her board before he glanced over to her. “I thought showing off was the requirement of owning a skateboard,” he replied back with a bit of sarcasm in his voice. “So I'll probably see you around on it, as long as you don't hurt yourself again.” Once his gloves were off, he tossed them into the trash before he turned back to her.

“Don't turn me over to the Centurions or the Praetors,” Archer did as he nodded his head slightly. “If you can do that for me, then I think we're pretty much even.” If he was any other guy, like his Hermes brothers, he'd probably request a kiss or something along those lines. But since Archer didn't do that, he was just content not getting into trouble.

Maybe she would see him around. They were in the same cohort after all and it wasn't like it was hard to miss a crazy blonde girl riding around New Rome on a skateboard. Tawny would just have to make sure she kept her eyes out for him now that she knew he was on the level. "Me? I hardly ever get hurt." She said with a chuckle. Tawny had more bumps and scrapes than many people had in their lifetime but she wouldn't really call that getting hurt. Getting hurt was having to hang up your board for a few weeks while she recovered and the girl tried to avoid that. [/b]"At least not hurt enough to keep me off the streets. I'm sure I'll see you around."[/b]

He kind of surpass her though when instead of asking for something cheesy like a kiss or a date, a request she would have probably refused just because she liked to play with the guys who thought like that, he asked for her not to rat him out. That made her laugh a little. "Thought we were good on that. I don't want to rat you out. Snitches get stitches or something like that. Besides, it's not that big of a deal and yeah I know it kind of spoils the fun but I wasn't kidding about the good chocolate either." She shook her head at him and smiled before playfully teasing him some more. "It may be a good idea to work on not getting caught though."

She wasn't going to snitch on him, which was a major relief to Archer and that made Tawny cool in his book. It was a petty theft after all and he might repay her for her silence. He would probably get a better look at the chocolate at the bottom of her chest to see what kind she liked. Archer chuckled to himself as he shook his head. "I don't steal that much anymore and I don't get caught when I do." He looked at her as he cocked an eyebrow at her. "But I just might to keep in mind not to steal from the skateboards who hurt themselves and call it whatever you want, but that knee of yours had to hurt. You were just the one flaw in my nearly perfect heist."

"Alright." She said and gave him a wink. "Just would hate to see a good medic sentenced to the stocks or whatever it is they do around here." She had no doubt he would be fine, most Mercury guys got by without any issues and they stole stuff a lot more valuable than a few pieces of candy. He had his reasons and that was all she really needed to know. Maybe he would tell her more someday but now want really the time.

She shrugged when he called her out on her knee hurting and she supposed she better come clean. She liked the guy and there was no one around so she guessed it wouldn't look too bad owning up to it. "Yeah, maybe a little. Awesome things do a lot of times though and I like awesome things." It was a philosophy that she had learned from her mom, another Mercury demigod who was pretty awesome herself, and it had served her well so far. "Just remember some flaws can turn out pretty good."

“The stocks would probably be the most humane thing they could do,” Archer said with a bit of a smirk. He remembered some of the punishments he saw his friends go through and they were definitely not pretty at all. “And I already told you, I'm not a medic. I just know how to fix up some injuries.”

Some flaws can turn out pretty good? Archer didn't know if she was implying anything, but he guessed she was right to a point. If he didn't get caught, he wouldn't have met Tawny who turned out to be pretty okay in his book. “I'll just have to keep that in mind,” he did with a chuckle before he got up from the bed and stretched a bit.

He was probably right. The Romans did have some pretty extreme punishments for those who broke the rules, especially those who would hurt the Legion in some way. Tawny guessed that was why she didn’t want to see any of those things happen to Archer. He wasn’t a bad guy after all and getting some stupid punishment over a few pieces of candy was a bit much. Keeping things quiet like this and no one having to deal with the messy Roman legalities was the better alternative by far.

“I know.” She said with a playful smile that showed that she knew what he had said, that she didn’t care and that she would probably remind him of his first aid work the next time she saw him just to tease him. He had been her medic after all. She kept that playful smile as she watched him get up and stretch. She supposed he had places to be and she did too though she thought she might take it easy in her bunk for a while just to give her leg a rest and maybe give her time to get out of her torn jeans. Still Archer didn’t have to know that. “I think you’ll find I’m pretty hard to forget and if not you never know, you might just see me in your dreams.”

Archer rolled his eyes when he saw her playful smile. He had a feeling that she wouldn't let this one die so he could expect quite a few medic jokes in the future. And at that moment, he figured he needed to go somewhere, but he didn't know where. He liked Tawny or what he knew of her so far, but he figured he was overstaying his welcome despite the fact that this was his cohort bunk room as well.

He looked over at her and raised his eyebrows before a slight smirk settled onto his lips. “That doesn't sound creepy at all,” he said dryly. “You're not gonna Stockholm Syndrome me into liking you or anything, are you?” He was teasing her back a bit since she seemed to enjoy teasing him in the first place.

"Nah holding people hostage isn't my style." She said getting a good chuckle at his comments. Okay maybe the dream thing was a little weird but it was a lot of fun and you could do anything in your dreams. There was no getting busted up knees either when she was in charge. Mostly though Tawny just liked to observe. You could learn a lot about people in their dreams especially if they were open enough. "I'm mostly harmless these days. Mostly."

She could have pushed the subject but didn't want to tease him too hard. She wasn't that much of a shameless flirt after all. "Seriously though, thanks for fixing me up. You're a pretty cool guy Archer." She set back down on her bed and stretched out. "You heading out or planning to stay around? You don't have to leave if you don't want to but I should be alright now that I've been patched up I think."

Archer got a chuckle himself. He'd probably need to be a little bit more aware in his dreams, if there was such a way to do so, since he had no doubt that Tawny would find an excuse to hang out in his dreams. Then again, his dreams weren't the most pleasant to begin with after all the things he witnessed on the streets of Los Angeles. He shook his head as he reached up to rub the back of his neck. "I'll keep in that mind for now. As long as you stay harmless."

But he lowered his hand as he looked at her with a cocked eyebrow before he shrugged his shoulders. "I honestly don't know if I was gonna leave or not. Don't really have anywhere to be, but it sort of feels odd to stay here." He chuckled before he nodded his head towards her knee. "But I should probably stick around to make sure you don't aggravate that injury further. I'm not that good."

"Mostly harmless." She corrected him. Tawny could already tell that Archer's dreams were going to be fun ones. Maybe she would say hi to him sometime or maybe she would just see what he thought about. Usually it was like catching a good movie with the things some people came up with. Archer though, she wasn't so sure. She would have to make it a point to stop in some evening just to check on him especially since he practically invited her just now. Rookie mistake.

"Nah, there's nothing to feel awkward about. Unless you got something against hanging out with girls." She smirked at him again. Maybe he was one of those shy and quiet types. He certainly gave off that vibe but if that was the case she really didn't mind. Tawny was about as laid back and easy to get along with as they come. "You can stick around. The leg will be fine but if you need an excuse that works about as well as any. I don't bite and you could probably out run me if I tried at this point."

"Mostly harmless," Archer corrected himself with a smirk as he glanced over at Tawny. He had a feeling that she would randomly pop in and visit him in his sleep, but he really didn't hope she would pop in during a nightmare. Those were things he rarely talked about to anyone, especially cute girls he stole a bit of candy from. He held his hands up in surrender as Tawny tried to call him out. "Nah, nothing against girls. It's just the thought of company in general." He lowered his hands as he shrugged his shoulders a bit. "I'm not a very... social person if you couldn't tell."

But he decided he would stay as he made his way over to his bunk and sat down at the edge of his bed. "And you're forgetting that I could teleport away from you," he said with a slight smirk. It wasn't a power he hadn't inherited from his powers so he thought, but that wasn't something she needed to know now.

"Yeah I was getting that." Tawny said with a chuckle. "But it's okay. You don't have to make any exceptions for me. I usually find ways to entertain myself even if it's just tweaking my board. Course you probably don't want to hear about all that." Speaking of her board she reached down to grab it and sat up a little to give it a quick look over. She could have gone on about customizations she had done and was planning to do but she tried to only talk about it with the guys who actually understood what she was saying. Of course Archer might surprise her but he didn't seem the skateboarding type.

"See, there's nothing to worry about. You can get away from me and look cool doing it." She had seen the teleporting power that Mercury gave his kids sometimes and yeah as far as powers went it was pretty sweet. It wouldn't have surprised her if Archer could do it too so she didn't think that much about it when he told her he had it. Sill, she could only imagine how useful an ability like that could be. "Bet I could knock out some pretty wicked moves if I could teleport around like that. Too bad you can't let me borrow that power of yours for a while."

"Skateboards aren't really my thing, but I can do that thing where I can have my mind wander while you talk about your thing. I'm pretty good at that." He chuckled to himself as he shook his head before he decided to strip himself of his flannel shirt so he was still had a t-shirt underneath. "And with that, there would be no way I'd let you borrow that power if you could," Archer said with a bit of a smirk before he eyed her injured knee. "You did that with no powers whatsoever and a skateboard. Imagine what kind of damage you'd do to yourself if you could teleport. Nope. That's not happening at all." He chuckled a bit to himself as he shook his head. "Maybe I should keep an eye on you to make sure you don't hurt yourself again. From the looks of things, you probably need your own personal medic."

“I have a habit of making that a little hard on people when I want to.” Tawny said as she glanced up just in time to see him shrugging out of his over shirt. She watched him for a moment giving him a little smile as he teased her. She was going to have to show him up at some point just to prove she was better than one accident made her appear to be. She was a lot more talented than she let on most of the time but she wouldn’t be doing what she was doing if she didn’t get a kick out of seeing the look on people’s faces when she dropped some really sick moves.

“You know,” She said still eyeing him up from her bunk. “If you keep that kind of talk up I’m going to start thinking you’ve taken a real liking to me. You Mercury boys sure do move fast.” Tawny chuckled. She was only kidding but it would be interesting to see if she got a rise out of him. For the most part Tawny didn’t really date much. There weren’t that many boys who she knew that could keep up with her sometimes crazy antics and for now she wasn’t in too much of a rush to find someone. Besides, most guys thought of her more of a friend or a competitor than dating material anyways. Maybe one day though. “Maybe I should be the one keeping an eye on you.”
