[Archer Davidson]

"Eh, people can surprise you," he said as he tossed his flannel shirt onto the bed before he reached up to rub the back of his neck. He was feeling less awkward staying in the cohort with Tawny, but he still couldn't shake the feeling that he needed to be elsewhere away from Tawny.

Archer chuckled a bit as Tawny accused him of taking a liking to her. Maybe he had, maybe he hadn't. Either way, she was setting herself up for a perfect opportunity. "I think you're confusing your dreams with reality," he said as he looked over at Tawny with a bit of a smirk. "I hear that happens with Somnia children as well. You might want to check yourself." He laughed a bit as he plopped onto his bed as he shook his head. "Nah, I'm pretty sure you're the one that needs an eye on. I don't get injured liked you do apparently."

“Could be.” She said taking his jests in stride and running with it. “I doubt it though. My dreams can be a lot better looking.” Tawny chuckled at the little jab. Archer really wasn’t bad on the eyes but saying crap like that didn’t win you in street cred. It wouldn’t do her any favors just rolling over and letting him poke at her so she would just have to show him that she could give out as good as she got and if she was poked she didn’t mind poking back.

“Sounds like you need to see me in action before you decide how frail I am doc." Now they were getting down to business. If he was going to insist on pushing the frail little injury prone skateboarder card she might as well show him up while they were at it. "Next time I hit the streets of New Rome you better come with me. That way you can see me in action and then you can tell me if you need to keep your eyes on me."

Archer had to laugh a bit. Were her dreams really that better looking? He highly doubted that, especially with some of the Venus kids he saw running around New Rome. “Keep dreaming,” he said with a chuckle as he shook his head.

“See you in action?” he asked as he looked over at Tawny and raised an eyebrow at her. “Oh, I think that's just asking for your own personal medic. Do you really want me to see you hurt yourself again? I swear you're some sort of masochist.” He shook his head again before he added, “But I guess I'll give into your need of me watching you… which totally sounds creepy to be honest.”

"I usually do." She said with a chuckle. Whether he believed her or not dream powers were pretty cool. Dreams could be her own personally playground to do pretty much anything she could think of and what was even better was that there weren't even really any consequences. Maybe she would show him sometime just how malleable dreams could be if she ever popped in. For now though she wanted to focus on the things she could do in the real world with a skateboard under her feet.

"You said it Mr Creeper." She said with a smirk. "I'm just trying to do some honest skateboarding. I can't help that your into all that voyeurism stuff. If you're so set on me wiping out though what say you put your money where your mouth is." Her smirk grew wider as a plan began to form in her head. "What do you say Archer, how about a friendly wager. I crash, bail or wipe out once I'll buy you lunch but if not then you'll be paying."

"Voyeurism?" Archer made a pssh-ing sound before he laughed. "Don't think that's a kink of mine, but I'll remember it's probably one of yours." He smirked a bit before he raised his eyebrows. She wanted to do a bet? The chances weren't looking good in her favor, but he was willing to put his money where his mouth was. He chuckled a bit as he shook his head. "Is this how you get dates with guys? Drag them into bets and get a lunch out of it?"

He chuckled again as he looked at her and cocked an eyebrow at her. "But you're on. I hope you're saving up, but guys like me apparently like to eat a lot. Name a time and place and we'll see this deal through."

“Nah I keep all the kinky dreams to myself.” She said matter of factly. “People are pretty tame around here though. Well, most of the time anyways.” Tawny would admit that occasionally she stumbled into some dreams that she shouldn’t. Some people were very imaginative she would give them that. Those she usually left pretty quickly though. That was one aspect of everyone’s life she didn’t need to know about let alone go messing with. Luckily she didn’t think she would have that much trouble with Archer.

“Whatever dude. Call it what you want but I’m in it for the free munchies. Can’t go wrong there.” She chuckled. If she really wanted a date she wasn’t going to be going around and bumming them off Mercury boys who were hating on her skills. Bets on the other hand. “You’re on and don’t think I’ll let you off easy on you either when I win. Tomorrow evening, in the forum. I'm already looking forward to my victory dinner."

“So you know of every kink that’s around here?” Archer said with a chuckle as he sat up in his bed and raised an eyebrow to Tawny. “That’s some very dangerous information. Probably good blackmail if you needed it, but it’s definitely very dangerous.” He had a feeling that Tawny would probably spy on his dreams eventually, but he knew that would be a very dangerous territory for her to be in. However, he didn’t want to warn her, because that would probably make her pry more. He guessed that they would have to cross that bridge if they ever got there.

But one thing was sure, all that petty theft and talk about food had made him hungry since his stomach decide to have its say right then and there. He chuckled to himself over his stomach and the fact that Tawny had moved their bet from lunchtime to dinnertime. He would give her grief over it later, but right now, he had a stomach to feed. So he got up and stretched as he looked over at Tawny and smirked a bit. “I guess I need to hit the mess before it gets too crowded. I’ll see you around, Tawny.”

“That’s for me to know and for you to find out if I ever have to use it against you.” Tawny chuckled a little. She didn’t use the information she discovered about people against them, usually, but what w?as the point of dream powers if you couldn’t have a little fun Besides, a little fear of what she might do was always good. That way she was always able to keep people on their toes around her.

This bet was sounding pretty legit though and she was looking forward to this free meal. Not only was she going to get the chance to show off her skills but this Archer guy was pretty cool for a Mercury kid. She wouldn’t mind hanging out with him again so long as he held out on his promise and didn’t steal anything important like her board or her parts. “Alright dude. You go get you some munchies. Just remember to save some of that money for later because you’re gonna need it.” Tawny chuckled again hoping that he wouldn’t take her too seriously but then again if he did that meant more food for her. “I’ll see ya later Archer.”
