Jay grinned a little when she announced that the monster that had haunted her in broad daylight was a wampa...A creature from Star Wars. Had she been watching it recently and tried to figure out the possibility of them existing in a world like this? Either way Jay liked the thought. Star Wars was badass. "A wampa? Fair enough." He replied back to her with a small shrug, nodding in agreement to her comment about them being safe from the wampas. He then smiled to himself when he felt her foot caressing his leg, his leg tilting slightly to allow her to continue and for him to relax his leg at the same time. Even though they weren't next to each other, this was as close as he was going to come to cuddling her so he wasn't going to be in a rush to stop it anytime soon.

Daven smirked to herself as she saw the smirk on Jay’s face and felt his leg relax. She kept caressing his leg with her foot as she relaxed back in her seat. Even though he just said she was safe around him, she also felt safe. And happy, which was a first in a long time.

She kept caressing his calf and tried to go a little higher when the server stopped by their table with their food. Daven immediately sat up straight as she put her wandering foot back on the ground. She thanked the server before turning back to Jay. “Everything looks so good,” she said as she smiled a bit and grabbed a slice of pizza.

Jay was beginning to get the impression that if they weren't in a small diner or in public, this little date would be going very differently. He found it pretty funny when the waiter came over though and placed the food on the table. The way she sat up quickly was amusing and Jay looked at her, raising an eyebrow playfully before glancing to the waiter and giving them a 'thank you' smile. The food smelt good. It was refreshing to smell something as nice as pizza rather than the muck they were served back at camp half blood. It looked good too, even better. "Everything from my point of view looks pretty good here." Jay said with a grin, glancing down at the food but primarily keeping his eyes focused on his girlfriend. She looked better than any pizza. He reached over and brought his glass to his mouth, taking a mouthful of his milkshake.

Daven didn't think her foot went that high before the server stopped by their table. She didn't even think Jay would even notice it, but the look on his face suggested otherwise. She tried to ignore it as she grabbed and ate a slice of pizza. However, she was not expecting his next comment.

She nearly choked as her face went a deep shade of crimson. She coughed for a moment a she grabbed a glass of water to clear her throat. She couldn't believe that he just said that, but he did. She cleared her throat as she tried to compose herself and possibly get back at him. “And that looks good,” she said as she reached out with all intention to steal his milkshake.

Jay's eyebrow rose when Daven seemed to choke when Jay gave her a compliment. He'd noticed she had a tendency to melt or be taken back by any compliments he fired her way. It was pretty funny the way she reacted this time but he also didn't want her to end up choking and then dying. Dying from choking would be a bit of an anticlimatic death considering they were currently on a quest which probably would end up involving many monsters..Death by pizza didn't seem to flow. His eyes glanced down at his milkshake as she said it looked good and he nudged it a bit closer to her so she could take some. "Didn't take long for you to steal something of mine..." Jay said softly to her with a smile, letting out a small chuckle as well.

Daven tried to distract herself quickly from Jay's compliment. It wasn't like she didn't appreciate them, but they always seemed to catch her off guard and make a fool of herself. Besides, the milkshake that Jay ordered looked a lot better than the glass of water she had by her side. She was too distracted by the wampa to even think about getting a milkshake. She stuck her tongue out at him as she grabbed his milkshake and pulled it towards her. "I told you I would steal something," she said before she took a sip and her eyes widened a bit. "This is good," she said with a smirk as she pulled it closer to herself. "I might be keeping it."

Jay watched as Daven took a sip of his drink and then proceeded to pull it closer to her chest. Oh the joys of having a girlfriend. Common knowledge for a boyfriend is to buy a large version of something or some extra fries because even if she says she won't, your girlfriend will take some. "You are not keeping my milkshake. Maybe if it was something like my hoodie I'd say maybe but milkshakes? Nope." Jay replied back to her, grinning himself. He had no problem with sharing his milkshake, he just wasn't fond of giving it all to her. Especially not after he had hyped up the idea of a nice chocolate milkshake to himself.

Daven smirked to herself as Jay said she wasn't keeping his milkshake. She would definitely keep his hoodie if the opportunity presented itself, but for right now, she'd make do with the milkshake. "Well then..." she said as she played with the straw a bit as she swirled around the milkshake. "I don't feel like giving it back, so you might have to make me." She smirked as she raised her eyebrows before taking a long sip out of his milkshake. He would probably get his milkshake back eventually, but in the meantime, Daven didn't see any reason to give it back to him immediately.

Jay watched her as she played with the straw, swirling it about and causing Jay to narrow his eyes playfully at her. "Not cool Daven..." Jay teased her with a grin and an eyebrow raised. Then she proceeded to take a long, really long sip. Boy she was pushing her luck. He may love her but was this milkshake worth causing an argument over?...Jay was very tempted to say yes. "I'll make you speak in rhyming cuplets. Or I'll cause a scene and turn all these lights off. Want that baby?" Jay said, his tone of voice playfully soft as he decided to lean forward on the table, keeping his eyes on her the entire time. Surely Daven wouldn't want Jay to cause a scene amongst the diner, or cause a panic because of the sudden power outage.

Daven raised her eyebrows at Jay as he started to threaten her over the milkshake. It was nothing too horrible, but she definitely didn't want to scare patrons of this pizzeria. She glanced off to the side before looking at Jay before giggling. "Fine, have it your way." It would've been simple to just hand back over the milkshake, but Daven wasn't going to give up that easily. She checked again to make sure the server wasn't coming before she moved out of her side of the booth and slipped onto Jay's side with milkshake in hand. "Is that better now, baby?" she asked before she took another sip before handing the milkshake back over to Jay.

Jay smirked to himself a little as she let out a little giggle, nodding when she said for him to have it his way. Of course he wanted it his way. His way was the best way. Always. Something Daven would come to learn in all due time. "Good." He replied back simply, watching as Daven stood herself up, wondering why she was moving. Then she slipped in next to him and he raised his eyebrow slightly, looking to the side to look at her. "Possibly." He repled, leaning over and placing a kiss on her cheek gently before going to take his milkshake back before she inevitably drunk the entire thing.

Daven smirked to herself as she leaned up against Jay as he placed a kiss on her cheek as he took the milkshake away from her. It was nice to take a break from the quest, even if they were only barely scratching the surface of it. But might as well relax while they got the chance. She grabbed another slice of pizza as she glanced over at the other patrons at the restaurant. They weren't the only ones here, but it didn't look or feel like they were endanger at all. She took another bite of her pizza as she looked over at Jay. She smirked a bit as she put her free hand on his upper thigh.
