Well...I guess none of us can say we didn't see this coming but as you can all tell, I have no muse. My effort for roleplay has reached an all time low, not just on this site. I spend most my time at work then when i'm not working I want to game/watch things. I'm sorry for all that have threads for me but I honestly don't know how much I'll be able to reply. It's up to you what you want to do with my accounts, I'll try to reply whenever i get random muse, but like my previous posts, I don't know how long that'll be. I don't want to be the guy who breaks 100s of rules.

Jay smirked to himself a little as she let out a little giggle, nodding when she said for him to have it his way. Of course he wanted it his way. His way was the best way. Always. Something Daven would come to learn in all due time. "Good." He replied back simply, watching as Daven stood herself up, wondering why she was moving. Then she slipped in next to him and he raised his eyebrow slightly, looking to the side to look at her. "Possibly." He repled, leaning over and placing a kiss on her cheek gently before going to take his milkshake back before she inevitably drunk the entire thing.

Jay shrugged his shoulders a little when Daven doubted how able he'd be able to sense the lanterns. To be fair she raised a valid point. Surely if they were long out of commission than Jay wouldn't be able to find them...Not easily at least. There was probably something inside blocking his powers too, quests were never as simple as that. He looked up and then let out a small sigh. "That's going to be a lot of stairs...Hopefully not as many challenges on the way up." Jay replied, rubbing Daven's hand slightly with his thumb.
Being able to fly would be a great power. It'd come in handy in many situations but sadly he had no such power. "I'm afraid not." He replied, watching Freedom as she walked up to the door and opened them up. "So much for knocking." Jay mused to himself, beginning to walk into the church as well, looking around and being sure to take in all of it. Possible escape routes...Possible hiding points, all of it. "Remember to keep your eyes open, don't get sidetracked." Jay let out seriously, he didn't want anyone to get hurt badly due to a let down in their guard. They couldn't afford to get reckless, this was their lives at stake and possibly even the camp's.

When Charlotte mentioned that underestimating Jay would be stupid, Jay smiled to himself. It was nice to know there was someone in his cabin or the camp that wouldn't be quick to underestimate him. She didn't seem like the type to do that anyway, Charlotte was a cabin leader after all so she'd have to be wise. "All the more reason for you to not worry at all about me." Jay replied in regards to her comments about his fighting and brains. He trained a lot. Jay wouldn't exactly say he was terrible at fighting, he'd made a lot of progress since he first came here. "I'll look after them for sure...But hey, at least if I end up...You know, then you'll be able to know it'd be for a good cause." Which was true, Jay wasn't planning on dying during the quest but if he did, he imagined it'd be for saving one of the other two's lives. Their lives were important too, even if he didn't know one of them.
Jay watched Charlotte as she scanned over the cabin, maybe she was mentally preparing herself to be without him? On her own with these dorks. That must be hell. "Oh I won't worry, it'll be a good escape." Jay teased her, nudging her with a grin. "Everyone will be safe. I promise."

Jay watched her as she played with the straw, swirling it about and causing Jay to narrow his eyes playfully at her. "Not cool Daven..." Jay teased her with a grin and an eyebrow raised. Then she proceeded to take a long, really long sip. Boy she was pushing her luck. He may love her but was this milkshake worth causing an argument over?...Jay was very tempted to say yes. "I'll make you speak in rhyming cuplets. Or I'll cause a scene and turn all these lights off. Want that baby?" Jay said, his tone of voice playfully soft as he decided to lean forward on the table, keeping his eyes on her the entire time. Surely Daven wouldn't want Jay to cause a scene amongst the diner, or cause a panic because of the sudden power outage.

Jay gave off a small smile when Daven squeezed his hand in return, hopefully that was some form of comfort for her. He wasn't sure how much he agreed with the pair by thinking something was watching them. They had every reason to think that, considering all the things they were told at camp, but Jay didn't quite feel it himself. Maybe that was him being overly-optimistic as usual but still it was something he needed to keep in mind. He may not feel like he's being watched but he should still keep his guard up.
As they left the alley way Jay took a glance left and right before looking over to where Freedom pointed. "Looks appealing..." Jay said with a small sigh, rolling his eyes a little. "Find lanterns then leave...Should be simple. Son of Apollo, I should be attracted to light, right?" Jay continued on, wondering if his powers or father would accompany him for this part of the quest. Most likely not. Godly parents weren't too reliable but it was good to have hope.

Jay let out a small laugh when she said she'd never be worried, which was then followed by a sarcastic nod. "Right." Jay let out, then going on to roll his eyes when she said that she was in fact worried. It was nice to have someone worrying over him. They may have not been around for the entirity of each other's lives but they were family at the end of the day. "No need to worry about me. Honest."
He glanced over at her when she bumped his shoulder and he truly listened to her words, a small sigh coming out his mouth when she brought up his girlfriend. She was pretty much the main reason he volunteered. At least it wasn't as if he was a complete newbie to the whole Demigod world and had only been at the camp a day or so, he'd been here a while. "I'm not fussed by the stress. It's one of my good points...Even when things are too stressful, I have a nack of not stressing. Some say it's a curse." Jay replied back to her, putting away the flash arrows and then reaching out to place his hand on her shoulder. "I've been training almost everyday before I met Daven...Don't underestimate me." Jay then said, his tone of voice soft but serious at the same time. He knew she wouldn't underestimate him, he was more saying it so she could then proceed to stop others from doing so. But still.

Jay watched as Daven took a sip of his drink and then proceeded to pull it closer to her chest. Oh the joys of having a girlfriend. Common knowledge for a boyfriend is to buy a large version of something or some extra fries because even if she says she won't, your girlfriend will take some. "You are not keeping my milkshake. Maybe if it was something like my hoodie I'd say maybe but milkshakes? Nope." Jay replied back to her, grinning himself. He had no problem with sharing his milkshake, he just wasn't fond of giving it all to her. Especially not after he had hyped up the idea of a nice chocolate milkshake to himself. |

Jay's eyebrow rose when Daven seemed to choke when Jay gave her a compliment. He'd noticed she had a tendency to melt or be taken back by any compliments he fired her way. It was pretty funny the way she reacted this time but he also didn't want her to end up choking and then dying. Dying from choking would be a bit of an anticlimatic death considering they were currently on a quest which probably would end up involving many monsters..Death by pizza didn't seem to flow. His eyes glanced down at his milkshake as she said it looked good and he nudged it a bit closer to her so she could take some. "Didn't take long for you to steal something of mine..." Jay said softly to her with a smile, letting out a small chuckle as well. |

Jay was beginning to get the impression that if they weren't in a small diner or in public, this little date would be going very differently. He found it pretty funny when the waiter came over though and placed the food on the table. The way she sat up quickly was amusing and Jay looked at her, raising an eyebrow playfully before glancing to the waiter and giving them a 'thank you' smile. The food smelt good. It was refreshing to smell something as nice as pizza rather than the muck they were served back at camp half blood. It looked good too, even better. "Everything from my point of view looks pretty good here." Jay said with a grin, glancing down at the food but primarily keeping his eyes focused on his girlfriend. She looked better than any pizza. He reached over and brought his glass to his mouth, taking a mouthful of his milkshake. |

Jay looked up at Charlotte once he heard her walking in, glancing over when she sat down next to him. Jay figured he got pretty lucky with his cabin mates, even though one of them was a devil child but Charlotte had always been one that Jay seemed to get along with more than the others. It was almost as if she really was a sister of his. He watched as she passed over the case and the arrows. He wasn't usually one to use arrows but he figured he could just slam the bolt into the ground or something. "Sounds interesting, thanks." He replied back to her with a small smile, putting away the case and all arrows other than one which he played with in his hands.
"You don't, I'll be safe." He said with a smirk, giving her a nod. Hopefully they weren't some famous last words but he knew he would be careful, it wouldn't be a joke to him when he's out in the real world. If anything this cabin was more the joke than outside. "You're not...worried are you?" Jay asked teasingly, raising an eyebrow with the smirk still plastered on his face. |

Jay looked over his shoulder at Freedom and Daven when Daven brought up the fact she felt like she was being watched. He grinned to himself at Freedom's response and then decided to slow down a bit, coming up close beside Daven and reaching to interwine his hand with Daven's. "We're probably being watched all the time now guys, you know how it goes with demigods." Jay said with a shrug, taking a look around himself. If anything did jump out on them, Jay believed they would be able to defend their selves long enough to get away.
Slowing down to hold hands wouldn't exactly be something he could do to help calm Freedom down, but he could do it to Daven. He'd have to find a way to help Freedom later down the line, after all they were quest mates now too. They were all in this together. "I agree, keep your guards up." Jay said a bit more seriously than previously. Their lives were at stake now so they couldn't take this as a game...As much as he'd like to. |

Jay grinned a little when she announced that the monster that had haunted her in broad daylight was a wampa...A creature from Star Wars. Had she been watching it recently and tried to figure out the possibility of them existing in a world like this? Either way Jay liked the thought. Star Wars was badass. "A wampa? Fair enough." He replied back to her with a small shrug, nodding in agreement to her comment about them being safe from the wampas. He then smiled to himself when he felt her foot caressing his leg, his leg tilting slightly to allow her to continue and for him to relax his leg at the same time. Even though they weren't next to each other, this was as close as he was going to come to cuddling her so he wasn't going to be in a rush to stop it anytime soon. |

"Yeah?" Jay asked softly back to her when she said that her blank staring was nothing to worry about, even if she did look super worried beforehand. He knew they were safe for the time being, surely if there were any monsters nearby they would have done something by now or at least caused suspicions to rise but there was nothing. Just a few normal people sitting and eating their food. "You know you're safe with me, right? Even if there was some dragon or something attacking us, you'd be safe." He then continued on to her with a smile when she nudged her leg against hers, his other leg coming round and gently linking behind hers slightly. Luckily he was tall enough for this to not be uncomfortable and the booth wasn't exactly big. |

"That's true, food is just good." He replied back to her with a grin, enjoying the feel of her squeezing his hand. Food really was just too good for him to not enjoy having. Even when he was eating, he still wanted more food until he physically couldn't have anymore. Once he had the munchies, it was hard for him to stop eating. It was a wonder he wasn't morbidly obese considering the amount of food he did eat.
Jay sat down on the opposite side of the booth, shifting along the seat and taking a glance around before landing his eyes back on Daven. It seemed as if she was in her own little world, looking out into the diner as if something was standing there ready to kill her...which was understandable considering the circumstances but this was different. He looked up at the waiter as she seemed to snap out of it and then focused back on Daven, giving his order soon after. Once the waiter left to give the duo a couple more minutes to figure out what meal they wanted, Jay stretched his leg out slightly under the table to lean next to hers, brushing it gently. "You okay? Looked like you saw a ghost." He asked her curiously, his tone of voice quiet and soft. Just in case there was any monsters nearby. |
