Luckily the hit to his hip didn’t actually hurt too much for him to notice it but the temptation to be as fast as I could against Lucas was beginning to become hard to ignore. However Jay wasn’t going to do that, he’d end up forgetting Lucas is a lot younger than him and he’d probably never hear the end of it if he hurt him. ”Speed isn’t everything in fights. Use your brain.” Jay said with a smile, he hadn’t fought much and definitely wasn’t the most knowledgeable but he had some useful tips for fighting.
Jay grinned as Lucas Skywalker stumbled a bit but pulled his spear away quickly as it got deflected. ”Losing your balance can be bad, think of Obi and Anakin’s duel, when they were above the lava. Have a balance like theirs!” He announced encouraging as he decided to thrust his spear forwards to attack Lucas’ feet. He went for the front this time, just in between them just in case it wasn’t deflected and so it would hit the floor, rather than his feet.

phoebe Blackstone & Jay - Obviously since these two are siblings they are bound to have had run-ins spoke, so i quite like the idea of these two being close! Jay gets along fine with Lucas and he's a lil terror so I see no problem with these two getting along. Besides it'd be nice to have a 'sibling' he was quite close too. He'd look out for her but more so if they did become close.  jack Dracan & Jay - Jay isn't very musical, yet at least. However he is a son of Apollo which does mean he can play instruments but he hasn't actually discovered it yet. So i feel like Jay could stumble across Jack being musical and then totally lie his way into getting him to perform and Jay being like "Come on i'll play for you whilst you sing/play" And then afterwards being like "Just so you know, that was the first time i played." But he didn't want to knock his confidence so he left it till the endXD. dimitri Vaskoveti & Jay - If he's a gentle giant jay would have no problem getting along with him^_^. I feel like a thread with either Phoebe or Jack would be the most interesting!

”Woah that’s deep.” Jay said through a laugh as he leant to his side slightly, slipping his hands into his pockets. His eyes found their way down to her lips as she smiled, Jay found it captivating and he was sure his heart skipped a bit when the words ‘cute newbie’ then came out of her mouth. ”Cute newbie?...” He stuttered out a bit, he wasn’t sure how to deal with this compliment. Sure he’s had compliments before but this was from a girl he had just met and not from a friend who would feel inclined to compliment him. Be cool Jay. Say anything, don’t leave her hanging. ”Your face is good too, you know.” He said out, putting a smirk to go with the words but it disappearing after what he just said processed in his mind. Your face is good. How had this girl took away any sense of flirtyness Jay had? Talking to new girls was obviously a lot different to flirting with his friends back at school.
Now back to the ninja ideal, this girl seemed pretty badass if she could joke around about being a ninja and actually have Jay somewhat believe it but for some reason even though they had just met, Jay knew the trust bit was a lie. ”You seem trustworthy. A ninja wouldn’t tell secrets.” He said smugly, smiling to himself as if he was proud of what he said, which he was. He found himself hilarious even when others didn’t, always being the first to laugh at his joke. As soon as she mentioned being stabbed in his sleep over candy he knew exactly who she was talking about. ”Young Lucas is a hand full to say the least…but he’s a good kid.” Jay said with a small smile, nodding to himself, most people found him annoying but Jay found him amusing.
Hearing her say that his father was the god of the sun came across strangely to Jay. He still couldn’t get used to the fact he had the blood of a god and even had powers, he knew he could control light because he used to play with the lamps back at his old house and never used to need a torch when he was on his own in the dark but it sounded weird. ”Yeah…” He mumbled as he took another glance at the lava before turning back to the pretty girl. ”I’ll keep that in mind. Feel free to come to my ‘crib’ too. If you want to risk your life.” That was better than his ‘touch your face’ reply earlier. He actually sounded pretty cool; a cheeky smirk appeared on his face. ”I’m Jay.” He said as he extended his arm out, offering his hand for a shake. His mother told him to be a gentleman at all times and he planned on doing so.

It was safe to say, the food that was supplied here in the Mess Hall was a far stretch different from the regular left-over Chinese food Jay received from his mother’s restaurant. He missed the chicken chow mein and egg fried rice, he missed the sweet and sour sauce but he was stuck with what he was given. They say the food they supply was meant to make you ‘strong’ and ‘rich in nutrients’ but it was definitely not good on the taste buds. Well…food is food and it’s better than nothing was the mind set Jay developed during his time at Camp Half-blood. Maybe he’d learn to love the food?
He scanned around the mess hall and frowned, he couldn’t spot anyone like Tabitha anywhere so far so it looked like he’d be sitting on his own for the time being, unless anyone wanted to join him that was. Sitting on the end of a row, Jay plonked himself down on the bench and slid his tray onto the table. It was quite hard to adjust to this new way of life but it was pretty fun at the end of the day, a lot different to boring English lessons back at school. As he swirled his fork around in his food Jay watched the people lining up to get their own food, wondering if any of them wanted to be Jay’s company but most of them seemed to already have reservations, which sucked.

Lucas seemed to be the type of kid to get ahead of himself very quickly but he was a kid and that was normal. ”Right, Jedi knight.” He said with a laugh, humouring the young ‘jedi’ in front of him. It was probably best for Jay if Chiron didn’t know that Jay and the rest of the cabin let him come here but Jay decided to convince himself that it was for the best that he came to the arena to train. Besides the big grin on Lucas’ face was adorable and it actually made Jay pretty happy that the kid was enjoying himself and not having a strop.
Jay had to think about how to handle this battle that was about to go down, he didn’t want to hurt Lucas so he definitely couldn’t use the bladed side of his side but the bottom of the hilt would also at least wind the boy. Since he was only 7 years old. Seems like the side of the spear would be the safest option to keep the battle as real as possible for Lucas. ”You’re quicker than I expected.” Jay let out, pretending to be startled as he got hit on the hip by the toy lightsaber. ”Good hit, but can you dodge a few?” He questioned as he stepped to the side, a distance away from Lucas as he spun his spear towards Lucas’ legs.

Jay & Charlotte - THESE TWO ARE SIBLINGS obviously and Jay is a nice guy who likes to make people laugh! He plays pranks on people here and then if they annoy him but also some tame pranks, which are just a bit of fun. He's quite laid back and doesn't argue at all so I think these two would definitely get along. Jay doesn't consider his cabin sibling but he does consider them more important than the other members of the camp (other than friends) so he wouldn't refer to her as a sister.
Jay & Logan - Just like Logan, Jay likes making people laugh lots and lots. So I think these two would be good to have in a thread because once Logan realises that Jay doesn't want to pester him to get him to talk and just wants to be friends, they could get along well and have a laugh. I can just see these two being jokers together and having a full on laugh-fest when they're both in a jokey mood.
These are just kinda rough ideas that may sound a bit cliché but I thought the actual relationships would develop better in a thread. These two stuck out for Jay but if you think a different character would have a good plot feel free to add on anything.XD <3

Jay raised an eyebrow and gave the girl a playfully suspicious look. She replied to his joke, with more humour. The girl was funny and pretty, he was in heaven. However if she really was a ninja he should probably choose his words wisely unless he wants to get impaled with a sword. ”Yeah but if you were a ninja you wouldn’t be having this conversation. You’d have killed me. Otherwise you’re an amateur.” He replied to her with a grin, throwing in a shrug with the reply as well. ”Mad skilled might be the correct term, I agree.” Jay decided to continue on as well, softening up the girl just to certify his safety.
Once again the girl had disappeared, causing him to let out a small groan. This time he didn’t get scared luckily so he still had some dignity towards her. ”Stop disappearing.” He said in a mumble, letting out a small huff as well. But not a kid’s huff, a manly huff or so he likes to tell himself. He noticed she was eyeing him quite a lot during their little meeting and Jay wasn’t sure how to react to it, was it a good eyeing or was it a ‘who is this creep’ type? ”Daughter of Hermes, nice. Got it. But yes I’m new, friendly neighbourhood son of Apollo.” He replied back to the girl, but in reality he wanted to say I like your face a lot. Good job on it. Following her gaze, Jay looked up at the climbing wall and evaluated it a bit more, along with the lava at the bottom. ”Oh yeah no biggy. Just a pit of lava.” That was literally what it was, a pit of lava. He didn’t understand how she was trying to soften this up like it was a bouncy castle, a bouncy castle would have been good right now.

Jay watched as Lucas pummelled into the dummy with as much force as possible. It was a valiant effort for a young padawan. ”Nice nice, the dummy got destroyed. Looks like the young padawan is not so much like a padawan anymore.” He replied with a laugh, using his free hand to itch the top of his head and brushing his hair slightly. Realistically he should be training right now but Chiron wasn’t around so he figured a talk with one of his cabin members would be nice.
He didn’t quite expect Lucas to challenge him because of this short conversation however. Was Jay even allowed to accept the challenge? Lucas shouldn’t technically be at the arena anyway and it was through sulking that he is even here. With a quick glance around Jay shrugged, lifting his spear off the ground and giving it a quick spin before extending it out towards Lucas. He tapped the toy lightsabre lightly with his spear. ”Go easy on me okay kiddo?” Jay teased with a grin, there was no way Jay was going to take this seriously but he would at least let Lucas believe it was real. Build the confidence from an early age.

Today was a training day for the Apollo cabin and Jay was looking forward to releasing the stress of being away from home out on a dummy. He needed to let it out somehow and it was either this or by screaming loudly into his pillow, not preferable. Besides Jay wanted to try out his new spear and how well he would actually do with it, he already knew that Apollo children were meant to be pros with a bow and arrow but he thought that was too main stream and Jay preferred a more hands on option. A spear would help him be a lighter footed fighter and would utilise his speed. Not to mention a spear is totally bad ass.
Clutching his spear in one hand, Jay chose a dummy on the far end; he was going to swing his spear into the side of the neck but was distracted by a loud whine-like noise. To his left was his little ‘brother’ Lucas, with a toy lightsabre in his hand. This made Jay grin to himself as he dug his spear into the ground, leaning on it. ”Easy there kiddo. You’ll poke your eye out.” Jay said to him in a soft voice, a hint of sarcasm inside his words. He knew this kid, everyone in Apollo cabin knew him. He was a terror to deal with but for some reason Jay didn’t hate him, he wouldn’t want his company for longer than half an hour but Lucas did make him laugh from time to time and that was all Jay needed to have respect for someone, as long as he didn’t annoy Jay too much Jay would have no reason to prank him and hide every single sweet he has before setting fire to them.

The climbing frame was weird to come to terms with. There was actual lava at the bottom of it and Jay couldn’t help scrape the thought of someone falling in and completely singing their whole body…Like a Christmas turkey. Was that even legal? Would the child’s godly parent sue the camp or would they just consider it as their child’s fault for being weak enough to fall in to begin with. Either way it was putting him off of attempting to climb the obstacle even more. Climbing was not for him as a son of Apollo, he’d rather stick to his basketball courts and swimming which he doesn’t do too often but he wanted to start more. It was a good skill to have in life and it kept you fit. Besides water was refreshing to Jay.
Jay would much rather continue to look up and watch the pretty girl complete the task, that way he doesn’t have to worry about toasting himself if he fell or ending up embarrassing himself in front of anyone. So he gets to watch the pretty girl from a safe distance and relax a bit, besides it was a nice day today so Jay didn’t want to spend it cooped up in his cabin of people he didn’t really know, let alone wanted to call ‘siblings’. That was weird. As he got out of his deep thoughts Jay realised that the girl had turned her head, he was pretty sure she was looking at him. ”Oops…” He mumbled to himself as he took a quick glance away, pretending that he was actually looking at all of the campers that were currently climbing and not just her.
After about a minute of pretending to look at other camp members, Jay looked back at the girl to see that she wasn’t looking anymore and let out a sigh of relief. That was until she disappeared. His eyes widened and an eyebrow rose. ”What the-“ He said before he was interrupted by a voice to his right, accompanied by a tap on the shoulder. Jay jumped to the side a bit and looked to see the girl was now beside him. How was that even possible? ”How did you…?” Jay stuttered out before narrowing his eyes curiously, ”are you like… Mad skilled or something? Like a ninja?” He continued on, taking a quick look of her up and down – just to make sure he wasn’t imagining this. Hopefully the fact the girl would ignore the fact he jumped and would focus on the fact he asked if she was skilled or a ninja, would be embarrassing for a first impression to be ’guy who stared at me once then got scared easily.’

Jay hadn’t been at the camp long but had managed to explore a good length of the camp; he learnt that the stables smelt terrible, his cabin is full of drama and that the beach is so big it confused him how no one has ever stumbled across it. One place he hadn’t been so far was the climbing wall, he had heard a lot about it from all the competitions people have between each other but had never been. So today was going to be the day where he went to investigate what all the fuss was about.
He left his cabin and made his way down to where he was told the climbing wall was, to his surprise there were a few people there already – even though it was just before midday. No one from his cabin were here so he definitely didn’t recognise anyone but they all seemed focused on getting to the top so they didn’t notice Jay. He found a small wall to lean back on and watch everyone climbing, it really was quite high. Jay definitely would not be climbing it anytime soon; he hated climbing in general let alone climbing that…thing in front of him. There always seemed to be something resting on getting to the top and winning as well and Jay was not one to gamble much. He preferred to prank and this wall did actually strike up a few ideas to prank someone.
Most of these people looked like they had been in the camp for a lot longer than Jay had been however, so pranking them would most likely end up with Jay getting a bloody nose or being isolated from everyone in the camp for months. Something he’d prefer to avoid right now. That was when someone stole his attention. A brown haired girl, about the same age as him, was here as well and she seemed to be experienced in climbing so she’d obviously been there a lot longer than Jay. But boy was she good looking. Lifting his hand up from his side, Jay pushed his fringe back before continuing to stare watch the girl. He didn’t know who she was or what cabin she was from but he was eager to find out. Meaning he’d have to find some way to get her attention. Maybe a small prank? Climbing up there was off the table so maybe he could just stand at the bottom but a prank did seem easier, he just didn’t have any materials nearby.

Jay & Tabitha - THIS IS JAY. He is a prankster and loves making people laugh and smile. He's pretty energetic as well since he loves sports so he's hardly ever actually in his cabin so he's bound to bump into Tabitha. She seems like a lot of fun for Jay to hang with and he will probably prank her (nicely) sometime or the other. He's quite intelligent and will probably always try to greet Tabitha by coming up behind for and making her jump, a simple 'hello' soon to become a strange occurance for the pair. Jay's single as well, never having a relationship or holding hands with a girl etc but he does flirt with girls, using his 'banter' a lot more and probably being a lot more cheeky. I can see him being quite cheeky towards Tabitha and I feel like if these two do get close he definitely wouldn't mind and would grow fond of Tabitha. This is just some rough stuff, if you have any ideas feel free to add.xD

Jay & Michael - Right Michael is a bad boy who as you said, will sleep with anyone xD so I feel like this whole bad boy attitude would not work with Jay very well.. Jay is slightly the opposite to Michael in my opinion. Only slightly however xD. Jay would probably see Michael as a target for pranks if Jay ever got bored or had a run in with him which could lead to a fist fight here and there in the past as Jay would probably be sarcastic if Michael confronts Jay about a prank. I'm not saying Jay would hate him, he just wouldn't like his company very much. Jay & Melanie - Melanie is sweet and kind, Jay is nice and a funny guy. I can see these two becoming friends for sure! I don't think Jay would end up developing feelings for her in that sort of way but he would definitely see potential of being good friends. Since she is antisocial and depressed, Jay would probably try quite hard to try and get her to talk more and make her laugh by being an idiot with his jokes. These two are pretty similar personality wise in the summer though but I think these two would bring a nice friendship to the table. Melanie possibly trying to get Jay with being more careful with pranks because there is no doubt, he will get punched.XD Jay & Tadhg - I mentioned about pranking earlier on the cbox but now I look over Tadhg a bit more I'm really not too sure if these two would even come into meeting each other. I feel like Tadhg would just be the type of person Jay avoids because of the potential drama that comes with it. Jay is basically the king of chill so does not like drama and will probably walk away from it. Which kinda contradicts his jokester ways but he does it for the fun! Just some rough ideas so if you have any ideas feel free to change anything/add anything!

Jay Sun Keon This here is my boy, Jay Sun Keon; 'Jayce' or 'Jay' for short. He is a son of Apollo and has the face claim of Brandon Soo Hoo. He's a loveable prankster who will continuously find ways to prank people or cause minor mischief. Even if it's as small as making someone jump or hiding something of there's for a moment of time. He's a very competitive as well so if anyone challenges him, he is 95% to accept said challenge even if there is no hope of him winning or completing the challenge. Ball is life.
Friends - Being a nice and polite guy with a decent sense of humour (or so he likes to think) Jay has been known to have quite a few friends but prefers quality over quantity. This means that rather than having a load of friends he will prefer to have three or four close friends that he can get along with and trust completely. He will be loyal to these friends and will be quick to defend them, not backing down if someone begins to throw shade towards these friends or goes as far as hurting them. These friends will be an important part of Jay's life.
Enemies - Jay is a chilled out guy, he loves to relax and take everything laid back, using a 24 hour rule with people who annoy him where he usually forgets it after a day. I can't see him having many full on enemies. The only type of enemies I'd see likely for Jay is anyone that beats him at his beloved basketball, turning them into a sort of competitive enemy or a 'rival'. However, Jay will completely dislike anyone who hurts his friends/upsets them and will initiate a 'prank attack' on them as he likes to call it. This will be where he will carry out a series of pranks on the person he dislikes until he feels he has got them back.
Lovers - Jay has never had a girlfriend in his 16 years of life and despite the fact he will flirt quite a lot, he has never kissed a girl or even held hands with one. He's had a few cuddles with friends from his old school friends but never actual interests. Sure he's had crushes and tried to flirt with them more than usual but because of his jokester nature, the girls tend to consider it just as his usual 'banter'. This spot is open but it will probably take a while as I think it'll take a bit of time for Jay to flat out tell a girl he likes them as deep down, he's pretty shy.
I've only really covered the basic spots for Jay but if you have any other plot ideas feel free to post a reply and let me know what you see happening for Jay and your potential characters.^_^ I'm open for all ideas, so don't feel like there's a plot to crazy as I'll probably reply with something crazier!
