Hades, Twenty, Camp Half-Blood:
Seth, for the most part, is considered to be what one may call a man with a ball and chain. By this, it means that the young man traverses life afflicted with the case of unnecessary burdens on his shoulders. He, more times than less, feels as though everything in life must be handled solely alone, and therefore, Seth can be regarded easily as a lone wolf type of character and NEVER wishes to rely on another person, or thing. He tackles through issues and problems as the "loner" and carries the weight of all responsibilities unto himself. Because of this, Seth has developed quite the ability to break through obstacles and problems with his flexible mind and thinking and has thus proven himself to value good old fashioned hard work ethic. Truly, this is a trait that he has inherited directly from his father, the Lord of the Underworld and the master of the afterlife, Hades himself.
Seth has always felt that the treatment towards his father was unduly, undeserved, and unfair. In fact, Seth's devotion and loyalty towards his father is amplified by the the apparent honesty and sense of duty that his father Hades displays. For instance, Zeus and Poseidon have proven on many occasions to break the promises made between the three, yet, his father has always, in his eyes at least, carried his promises and duties as master of the underworld with honesty. Hades' duty and priority to keep his realm in check left lasting impressions in Seth's life. It is because of this that Seth himself has developed a sense of code and duty, to uphold the very things that his father has stood for for millennia and to give full throttle effort in his own endeavors.
For one that carries himself from an emotional distance from others, Seth has...surprisingly good social skills. Be it a facade or not, Seth doesn't quite know himself, but he has found himself capable in carrying idle conversations with people, even diving into the nitty gritty of things far past the simple surface level small talk. However, Seth generally reserves his heart to hearts with those he values as family. For the longest time, this simply meant his mother, and occasionally his father, however, once Seth had learned about the possible existence of...siblings, he immediately put it upon himself to don the mantle of caring brother to any sibling that he should come in contact with. His concern for them is always true, and he does his best to look out for their best interests. For those not so regarded as family, Seth tends to emotionally distance himself from them. As stated, he can get along, and play along, but most of the time his heart is not fully there to commit, at least yet in this point of his life.

Seth isnt' one to really stick out his neck thus yet to really make friends. Of the many traits that he has inherited from his father, Hades, the most prevalent, it appears, is his aloof attitude towards relationships (platonically). For the most part, Seth is mainly interested in pursuing a sibling relationship with other children of Hades, and wants to act as the older brother to those them to the best of his abilities. His social skills are not inept, but he rarely puts himself in situations where they are necessary. [/style] |
