[Marius Rodomonte]

Marius chuckled when she asked what she would have to do. "I just want your help with a project of mine, and as for the rules, I was thinking of playing a quick game of memory." His eyes seemed to smile even more than the rest of his face was. "Now, Shogun go play with Kad, so she doesn't think you helped me." The monkey looked at Kad, stuck his tongue out, and ran off. Marius began to place the cards, faster than most people could keep up with.

[Harper Jones]

Harper smirked as she tried not to laugh at him. A memory game? That should be easy enough. Shogun's so going to be mine for a day. She looked at Marius as she popped a hip. "Sure," she said with a shrug. "I'll help you with your project. Now can we play? I'm ready to win."

[Marius Rodomonte]

Marius quickly flipped over the cards revealing them for five seconds. The former thief didn't even bother to look. He flipped them back face down. A grin on his face. "Ladies first." He motioned to the cards waiting for her to pick her first two.

[Harper Jones]

Child's play... Harper smirked some more as she grabbed two cards from the deck. Queen of Hearts and Ace of Spades. She glanced at her cards and back up at Marius. "What now?" she asked him. She was impatient to win.

[Marius Rodomonte]

"The object of the game is to get matching pairs right? Well, since you didn't get a matching pair it's my turn." Marius grabbed two cards. The four of clubs and four of spades were in his hand. "Looks like I got my first pair." He chuckled as he saw the look on her face. "Looks like I get to go again." He picked up two more cards. This time it was six of clubs and eight of hearts. "Your turn." Marius said with a smile.

[Harper Jones]

Harper raised her eyebrows. Only a matching game... should be easy enough... She smirked as she drew two more cards. A two and three of diamonds. She showed her cards. "Count as a pair?"

[Marius Rodomonte]

"Nope, but that's just because there isn't an even number of each suit in a deck." Marius smiled at her. "I'm sorry about that." His eyes scanned the cards real quick, and he pick two more. Jack of diamonds and jack of spades were in his hand. "Looks like I found another pair." The son of Hermes went through the game getting only one pair each turn, but he got a pair every turn.

[Harper Jones]

Harper watched wide-eyed as Marius got pairs every turn. She stood there cross-armed as she glanced between the deck and Marius. She couldn't believe it.
"You have to be cheating," she declared putting her hands on her hips. She stared him down. "There is no possible way you're getting pairs on every turn."

[Marius Rodomonte]

"You checked the cards yourself, and I don't have long enough sleeves to hide anything up them." Marius pulled on a t-shirt sleeve to emphasize his point. "I don't cheat. I just have extraordinary good luck. I didn't aim one of those knives from before." He looked her in the eyes. "But I still believe I'm being unfair, so how about this. You can come and play with Shogun whenever you like, and if he agrees he'll even leave with you sometimes." Marius grinned, "but you still have to help me with something."

[Harper Jones]

Harper rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. She just got outsmarted by an Hermes kid, something she wasn't too happy about. And he was... flirting with her? Yep, he just got himself removed from the Which Hermes Boys to Flirt With for L&J list. She glared at him some more before sighing in defeat.
"Fine. You win. Now what is this something you need my help with?"

[Marius Rodomonte]

Marius smiled at her. "Yeah, I need flour and lots of it." He looked around. "If you can get it, put it over in the ampitheater." The son of Hermes pointed in the direction of the building. Shogun came running back from the other end of the arena, where he had beem messing with various people who were practicing. The little monkey jumped on Harper's shoulder, and grinned at her.

[Harper Jones]

"Flower?" Harper said with a smirk. She knew he said flour, but she felt like messing with him. "Sure." She held her hand wide open and a rose started blooming in her palm. "Here you go. How many do you need?"

[Marius Rodomonte]

"About six, ten-pound bags." Marius raised an eyebrow at her. "Shogun is trying to show you something." Sure enough, the little monkey had moved from her shoulder to the ground, and was jumping up trying to grab her hand.

[Harper Jones]

"That's a lot of flowers," Harper said with a smirk. The one rose multiplied in her hand to a dozen. "How about six dozen roses?" Then she looked at the monkey at he grabbed her hand and looked back at Marius. "What's his problem?"

[Marius Rodomonte]

"He wants to show something." Marius grinned at her. "He probably found another treasure of his, and he likes to show them off." The monkey was pulling on Harper's hand. "You're the first person besides me, he likes enough to show them too." Shogun was making little sounds now, getting more and more impatient. "You might as well follow him. He's a prankster, and will get you if you don't follow him."
