[Marius Rodomonte]

Marius grinned as the knife hit the bulls eye yet again. "All right, pay up." He said to the disbelieving Ares kids, while pulling off the blindfold. "I can't believe it. Twenty times in a row, and blindfolded. He wasn't lying." They talked among themselves. "Umm... We don't have enough to pay you right now." Marius grinned. Well, I found the Joker's next target. "Oh, that's fine." The son of Hermes laughed. "I'll collect from you later." He walked away from them, and saw the girl he had pranked before. Marius walked up to her, waving. "Hey, I'm Marius." Shogun jumped from somewhere to land on his shoulder and waved at her. "And this is Shogun." He smiled at her. "Who are you?"

[Harper Jones]

Harper looked up from the dummy she was maiming. She was mad from the other night. Her cabin got pranked under her watch. But at least this guy was cute and from Hermes. She could tell by the monkey that climbed onto his shoulder. They were the only ones that seemed to have monkeys. She'd need to remember to flirt with him the next time she'd needed supplies for L&J.
"Harper," she said with a smile as she put down her sword. "Nice to meet you, Marius and Shogun."

Marius grinned at her. His eyes sparkling. Good, she doesn't recognize me. Shogun pointed at Harper and grabbed Marius' ear, making little sounds. The son of Hermes laughed when his friend did this. "Yes, yes I know Shogun." He pulled the monkey off his shoulder and set him on the ground. "Go say hi." Shogun dashed at Harper, and jumped onto her shoulder.

[Harper Jones]

Harper looked at the little monkey that suddenly jumped on her shoulder.
"Why, hello there," she said with a grin as she looked at the monkey. Then she turned back to Marius. "This is going to sound weird, but have we met before?" Something about him seemed familiar. Especially in his voice. She knew she'd hear it from somewhere, but couldn't remember where.

"I don't believe so." Marius put a puzzled look on his face. "I don't usually forget a face, and definitely would not forget one as pretty as yours." He flashed a smile at her. Shogun started whispering to her this time, and pointed at Marius. The little monkey shook his head, and stuck his tongue out at Marius. Shogun smiled at Harper after that.

[Harper Jones]

Harper smirked. "Easy boy. You lost your chance. I have a boyfriend." She looked over at the monkey. She smiled back at the monkey. It was adorable. Now she realized why the Hermes preferred monkeys. Then she turned back to Marius and tilted her head as she looked at him. "There's just something about you that seems so familiar, but I can't put my finger on it..."

"Well, I don't recognize you at all." Marius shrugged. "Maybe you saw me talking to someone else?" He gave a puzzled look, and looked up at sky. His eyes looked as if he was trying to figure something out. He suddenly grinned. "Hey, wanna make a bet?" His eyes sparkled.

I walked into the Arena "I heard someone say a bet, who's the lucky lose.... I mean gambler" I smiled then saw a new guy and Harper. I walked up to the guy "hey, nice to meet you. My name's Kad Mariano, son of Poseidon" i smiled at him

Harper raised her eyebrows at the guy. A betting was a stupid thing to do and was completely irrational. Good thing Harper was always rash. "What kind of a bet?" she asked. If it was the knife-throwing bet, she'd decline. She'd already seen him in action.

Marius gave a small frown at Kad. Though he hid it so fast no one noticed. "I'm Marius." The smile on his face looked completely natural. "And as for the bet. I think we should name the stakes first." His eyes once again gaining the sparkle from before. "I think it's unfair to let the person who decides the bet to name the stakes, so I'll let one of you two do it." Shogun jumped to the ground and started hopping.

"If I win," started Harper with a smirk, "I get the monkey for a day. And if I loose..." she shrugged. "How about I leave that up to you." Whatever the bet was going to be, she was going to win. She'd practically fell in love with Shogun. And spending a day with him would be awesome.

Marius grinned at that. "Are you certain?" His eyes giving off a amused look. "I can ask for a lot." He said with a chuckle. Shogun jumped back onto Harper's shoulders, and covered his mouth. The little monkey bobbed his head like he was chuckling also. Marius laughed again, and smiled at Harper. "Are you really okay with that?"

Harper crossed her arms and smirked at Marius. "What?" she said a bit cocky. "Is there a problem with that? If I wasn't okay with it, why would I suggest it?" She looked at Shogun on her shoulder. "Am I right?" I'm so going to win this.

Marius reached into his pocket and pulled out a deck of cards. "Ok, there are a few ways we can do this, but first off I want you to check the cards, and shuffle them." He chuckled. "People don't trust cards when I handle them." The son of Hermes handed her the cards. "After you've done that I'll explain the rules."

[Harper Jones]

Harper raised her eyebrows as she took the cards. She flipped through them quickly. Every card was in the deck and there were no duplicates. She shuffled them back up and handed them back.
"So... what are the rules? And you didn't mention what would happen if I lost."
