[Harper Jones]

Harper cocked an eyebrow at Marius. Then she shrugged. "Okay, Shogun, take me away." She started to follow the little primate. Then she realized how stupid this looked. A girl following a monkey. I've seen crazier things happen...

[Marius Rodomonte]

Shogun smiled as he pulled Harper along, dragging her to the other side of the arena. He stopped when he reached a pretty big crack in the wall of the arena. Too small for a human, but Shogun could easily get in the crevice. The small monkey quickly climbed into the hole in the wall, and returned holding a silver bracelet. Shogun held it up to Harper waiting for her to take it. "Be careful, Shogun's brought me some pretty dangerous magical items, and that looks magic." Marius being a thief was able to expertly gauge most items.

[Harper Jones]

Harper took the silver bracelet in her hands gently. She inspected it in her hands. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary as she turned it over in her hands.
"Are you sure?" she said as she straightened up and turned to Marius. "It doesn't look magical to me." Then she messed with the charm on the bracelet. The bracelet emitted a blinding light. "Oh..." she said as she looked at what the bracelet transformed into.

[Marius Rodomonte]

Marius watched as the bracelet transformed into a long gauntlet extending all the way to right before her elbow. It seemed to give off a white light. Harper could tell that it wasn't meant for offense, but for defense. The son of Hermes walked up to her and reached a hand to the gauntlet. He cursed as his hand was burned by a shield of light that suddenly appeared. "Well, that looks pretty." Marius muttered.

Harper looked at the gauntlet that now adorned her arm. She wasn't sure how she felt about it. If she used it, it would be difficult to use Weed Whacker. She looked down at Shogun. Part of wondered what went through his little monkey mind. "And is there a specific reason you decided I needed this?"

[Marius Rodomonte]

Shogun put his hands over his mouth. "He's not going to tell you anything." Marius said with a laugh. "I don't know why he thought you needed it, but I would hold onto it. Shogun has never steered me wrong before." The thief looked at the gauntlet. "I think that thing can actually be used with any weapon though."

[Harper Jones]

Harper inspected the gauntlet some more. She pressed a button and it turned back to a bracelet on her wrist. She wasn't quite sure how she felt about it, but she would hold onto it. Just in case. She looked down at the little monkey and smiled. "Well, then, thank you Shogun. That was very thoughtful of you."

[Marius Rodomonte]

Shogun smiled back, and jumped up onto her shoulder. The little monkey giggled at the bracelet. His tiny head bobbing up and down. "He definitely wants to play with you again." Marius chuckled as Shogun started to whisper to Harper. The little monkey would look over at the crack in the wall every now and then.

Harper smiled as the monkey jumped onto her shoulder again. If she didn't have Pip, she would totally get a monkey instead. She watched as the monkey whispered in her ear and then look at the crack. "I think he's telling me there's more in the crack. I don't know what." She smirked. "I don't speak monkey."

"If, he's not going to get it. Then, it means one of two things. Either, there is something dangerous to him in there." Marius rubbed his chin, pondering, "or he can't lift it himself." He walked over to the crack and reached in. The son of Hermes pulled out a dark silver ring. It had a skull with amethyst eyes, and chain connecting the different sides of the skull. Marius put on the ring and twisted it. The son of Hermes was soon covered in a black cloak. It had a white lining, with red thread designs on the back. It also covered his lower face with a black cloth. "Well, this is interesting." He spluttered when he heard his voice. It seemed deeper and more malicious. Shogun moved to behind Rachel's shoulder, shivering.

[Harper Jones]

Harper raised her eyebrows as Marius suddenly transformed in front of her. She looked at the monkey that cowered behind her shoulder. "Do I want to know what else you have in that crack?" She looked Shogun in the eyes getting her answer. She looked over at Marius. "We don't want to know."

[Marius Rodomonte]

Marius took the ring off. "Hey, Shogun it's all right. I'm fine. It's me your friend." That felt strange. It felt as if the ring was giving me power. Marius was lost in thought. He knew that Shogun wouldn't lead him to anything he didn't need, but it felt like that ring was way too dangerous. "Let's get out of here." Marius pocketed the ring, hoping Harper didn't notice.

[Harper Jones]

Harper looked over to Shogun as he finally climbed back onto her shoulder. "I don't want to know what else you have inside that crack of yours," she told him. The she picked him off my shoulder and handed him over to Marius. "I think your owner wants you back." Inside she was dieing a bit. She'd make sure that she'd hang out with Shogun more. Maybe Marius was back on the list...

Marius tried to sooth the small monkey as he took Shogun back. "It's okay, little buddy." His eyes seemed troubled. Shogun has never brought me something so dangerous, but he also has never been wrong on what I need. He leaned against the wall of the arena, wondering what was going on.

[Harper Jones]

Harper tilted her head to the side as she watched the two. Something seemed... off about Marius. Then again, she barely knew him, so how would she know? But still... she couldn't just walk off on them.
"Is everything okay?" she asked straightening back up and raising an eyebrow. She motioned towards the monkey. "Is he going to be okay?"
