Marius turned to look at John. "Yeah, that's right. If you could please, bring out all the wine you can out onto the deck, and one of you guys, if you could, bring out about ten shirts and find a pair of scissors." He turned back around. "I have a plan for getting around them, but we need to move to that soon." The son of Hermes pointed at the speed boat that was on the yacht. It was used in place of a life raft. "This guy most have been loaded."

John rolled his went below deck and carried the bottles of wine by the armful. He probably made a good twenty trips up and down the stairs with all the wine. He stopped at the door frame and leaned against it with his last armful of wine. "Erryn," he said between gasping breaths. He was not used to all of those stairs. "Can you get the shirts and scissors? I'm dieing." And he emphasized this by putting the wine down with the others and collapsing on the ground trying to catch his breath.

Erryn rolled her eyes and walked down the stairs. She walked into one of the bedrooms, opened a dresser, and pulled out ten shirts. Then she walked to what she assumed was the kitchen since there was food there and scoured around for a little before finding scissors. She scurried up the stairs and dropped the shirts and scissors on the bottles of wine. "There. Got the shirts and scissors. Now how exactly is this going to help us?"

"John, come take the wheel, and listen to Shogun he knows the way." Marius walked up to the huge pile of wine bottles. He grabbed one of them and emptied half of its contents onto the floor. The son of Hermes repeated this process for more than half the bottles. "Okay Erryn, I need those shirts cut into strips about this long and this wide." He held up his hands showing two different lengths.

John flinched when Marius emptied out the wine bottles. "That was good, expensive wine too," he mumbled to himself as he got up off the floor. He took the wheel of the yacht and the monkey pointed him in a vague direction. He rolled his eyes as he steered the boat in that direction. "We'll be lucky if we don't capsize," he mumbled some more. He glanced up at the monkey. "And we trust me to do this?" The monkey only nodded his head as he grinned. "Stupid idea. You guys will probably regret it."

Erryn nodded picking up the scissors. She picked up a shirt and started cutting it in pieces the size Marius said they needed to be. "We trust John why? He doesn't even trust himself." She said after John complained. She picked up another shirt and started cutting it.

"Because I trust him even less around the wine." Marius said with a laugh. He waited patiently as she cut the shirts into strips. The son of Hermes collected them and began to stuff the strips of cloth into the wine bottles. He made sure each one he stuffed had a section of cloth hanging out of the bottle neck. "Umm..... We should be approaching Charybdis and Scylla soon. You three head to the speed boat, okay?" Marius looked at each of them in turn.

John rolled his eyes at Marius's comment. "Like I could even drink the wine," he muttered to himself. He kept steering the yacht and was surprised that they hadn't capsized, yet. Then Marius said they were approaching the monsters. John gulped as he took a step away from the wheel. Shogun jumped on his shoulder as he made his way towards the boat. He looked down at it. "Are we sure we want to use this? The yacht has food..."

"Yeah, we want to be fast if we wanna get past Charybdis." Marius said. "This is the plan. You three will follow behind the yacht in the speed boat, but make sure I can see you." He emphasized the last part. "I'm going to drive this right into Charybdis, and well..... blow up the boat." The son of Hermes wanted to laugh. "While Charybdis is injured, you guys will need to drive that boat as fast as you can past her."

John raised his eyebrows at Marius's comment. "Then what about you?" he asked. "How are you going to not get blown up? Unless..." His eyes widened. He wanted Valeria safe more than anything, but he hated to see her upset over something like this. "No," he said firmly as he stared Marius down. "I refuse for her to get hurt because you're playing the sacrifice."

Marius scoffed at him. "I'm not going to sacrifice myself. This is why i need to be able to see you. I can teleport, remember?" He looked down at the floor. "Do you really think I would abandon Valeria, again?" The son of Hermes turned around suddenly. "We Hermes kids aren't that good at the noble hero thing. We keep surviving."

Erryn chuckled getting on the boat. She listened to John and Marius talk or whatever they were doing. "John hurry up and get on the boat before I leave you here to get blown up." She said walking to the wheel. She wasn't kidding about it. She would leave him on the yacht if he didn't hurry up.

John nodded curtly as he crawled into the speedboat next to Erryn. He looked at her. "Are you driving or me?" He looked at the controls. They looked more complicated than the yacht. He glanced over at the monkey on his shoulder. "You know how to drive this?" The monkey nodded his head as he jumped off John's shoulder and onto the controls. John rolled his eyes as he walked over to the controls. "Great," he mumbled to himself. "I'm taking boating lessons from a monkey..."

Marius walked back over to the yacht controls. His face set as he pulled out his lighter, an essential tool for any thief. He grabbed one of the molotov cocktails and sat down in the driver's seat. "WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?" The son of Hermes shouted at the others. Charybdis could be seen now. "GET GOING!"

"Fine, fine," grumbled John as Shogun showed him which controls to use. Soon enough, the boat was away and following behind the yacht. The monkey kept pointing to the controls to use. Surprisingly, they hadn't capsized, which was a plus for John. Usually, any sort of animal wanted to see John's doom and taste his blood. John glanced up at the yacht then at the monkey. "Is he really this crazy?" The monkey just nodded his head in reply. "Lovely..."
