Save Me (QUEST)

John grabbed Erryn (because she got off the boat and didn't die in the explosion, right?) and they backed away from Marius when he said so. John didn't like the way the situation was escalating. He had one hand in his pocket with his fingers curled around his comb. Then the flaming centaurs appeared and he whipped his comb out of his pocket and with a flick of his wrist, it transformed into a sword. But he didn't trust Marius with that ring. That stupid piece of jewelry that put his sister into this situation. He noticed one of the flaming centaurs was close to him and he decided to act. He attacked it with a swing of his sword.

Marius had started moving before he had even decided what he was going to do. He disappeared only to reappear in mid air in front of one of the monsters. The son of Hermes was curled up into a ball with his feet pointed at the monster. He grinned as he kicked the centaur thing's face. The strength from the ring more than enough to knock the monster back. Marius landed on his feet with a thud and turned to face another monster.

Erryn looked at John when he pulled her back and then stared at him like he was crazy when he attacked a flaming centaur. He was going to get himself killed. She pulled her dagger out after 1 five second delay and looked around. She saw another centaur that was headed towards John and quickly blocked the centaur before it slashed John's head off. She blocked most of the centaur's attacks till she got an opening and attacked the centaur. True she wasn't the best when it came to close combat, but she was okay. She stabbed the centaur and blocked a strike stepping to the side of the centaur and stabbing the centaur again, this time in the back and deeper than before. Right as the centaur burst into dust she felt something stab her forearm and grabbed at it while cursing in Greek. She felt something in the spot that got stabbed and pulled it out. She looked at it and cursed in Greek again. It was a fang. And there was no telling whether it was just a fang. She walked over to John and pulled him away from whatever he was doing before he could get himself into more trouble. "We need to find a way off this island. NOW." She half whispered to him. Her arm stung and she could swear it was starting to swell. Usually that was never good, so she wanted to go before they were stuck on the island permanently.

John managed to kill the flaming centaur before he felt himself getting pulled away by Erryn. "Yeah, agreed," he said as he looked around the island. The boat was up in flames, so that couldn't have helped them. The could've built a raft with the trees, but he doubted Hecate was going to be like You need to build a raft? Here, I'll stop attacking you for a few minutes to build one. Long story short, they were screwed.

John happened to risk a glance down at Erryn's arm. "That doesn't look too good," he said as he motioned down to her arm. "Uh... We should probably leave, like, now." He continued glancing around. The centaurs seemed to have left them alone for right now, which was good. Then an amazing idea hit him. "Make sure nothing gets close, alright?" he said as he closed his eyes. Woody vines started popping out of the ground and weaved themselves into a boat raft. It would take another five minutes before it was ready to go back out into the water.

Marius growled as he launched himself at another flaming centaur thingy. His sword cutting through it like butter. He wanted to attack the goddess herself and demand to be told where Valeria was, but he knew that wouldn't work. The son of Hermes turned to see how the others were doing. It looked as if Erryn was cradling her arm and John was doing something. Marius couldn't tell what. "How you doing?" He called to the others.

Erryn nodded not worrying about whatever John was doing and looked around. There didn't seem to be an abundance of flaming centaurs anymore. Which was good but there was no telling if anything else was going to be attacking. She looked at Hecate from the corner of her eye before she answered the question she heard Marius call out. "We're doing okay over here." She answered back. Mainly because John is doing something productive for once and we should be able to leave soon. Otherwise we wouldn't be doing so well, she thought.

"And done!" John cried out as he opened his eyes. The boat was finished and while it didn't provide any luxuries like the yacht, it would help them get off the island. He grabbed Erryn's arm while he motioned Marius over. "C'mon before she changes her mind!" He pushed the boat out to sea a bit before climbing on. He looked over the side of the boat at the other two. "C'mon! I swear it's not going to sink on us!" But I rather drown than get attacked by Hecate again, or Andrew for that matter...

Marius snarled. His eyes seemed feral underneath the mask. "Just go! I'll catch up!" The son of Hermes called to the others. He charged another monster, keeping an eye on the others. He tried to make sure that they would make it out to sea. After they were far enough away, Marius teleported himself onto the boat. His breath heaved with the exertion of using his powers so much.

John was figuring out a steering/motor mechanism when Marius popped onto the ship. He barely raised an eyebrow. "About time you got here," he mumbled to himself as he tried to figure something out. The best he could think of was paddles made from vines, but John doubted it would get them anywhere. "Any ideas on how to get this boat going?" he asked his fellow quest mates.

Hecate growled at them and slammed her staff on the ground, with that the wind picked up speed as a huge explosion was seen. Hecate then disappeared, leaving trails of destruction in her wake.

The windstorm that Hecate created gave the boat just enough momentum to start moving really fast away from the island. "I guess that answers that," he mumbled to himself. He glanced up at his other quest mates. "The next time we go to an island, can we make sure some crazy goddess isn't on it first? I'd like to see my girlfriend again, thank you very much."

Xenos grinned at the questers as he appeared next to them. "Hello, people." He leaned back and watched their various reactions of surprise. The son of the Night raised his hands and shadows rose up as a barrier between them. "I need to talk to you."

John's eyes widened as he stumbled back a few steps. He almost went overboard if he didn't grab the railing at the last second. "Wha-who?" He was stumbling through his words, not sure what to say at the moment. "You're dead! Well... supposed to be..." He flinched of the memory of his kidnapping. That was one painful experience he wished never to repeat.

Marius jumped when the creepazoid appeared on the raft. He looked over at John and saw what could only be called fear. "Hey, John you know this weirdo?" The son of Hermes looked at the newcomer and only one word could describe him, greasy.

Erryn flinched a little when someone appeared on the makeshift boat out of nowhere. After a five second delay she realized who it was. She glared at him and crossed her arms. "What do you want and how are you here?" She said holding back a growl. She didn't like him one bit. Especially since he beat up John, even if she didn't like John either.
