Hailey was completely asleep when Vincent wrapped his arm around her stomach and pulled her closer. She sighed lightly as he nuzzled her neck as she just cuddled in closer and continued on sleeping. It wasn't long after the sunlight crept into her cabin and slowly flooded over their faces.
She let out a sound of protest as she woke up. She wanted to sleep more. She just felt so... comfortable. It took a couple of moments before she figured out why she felt so comfortable. She was in Vincent's arms... she was never in Danny's arms for too long, not even after their first time... so it was forever. Please let me stay a human a little bit longer, she thought to herself as she moved around in his arms so she was facing him. She studied his face while he slept. He looked so peaceful and cute in his sleep. "Morning," she finally muttered to him after a couple moments.

Hailey smirked as he called her by her nickname. She never liked being called redhead... but from him... it was nice... "Okay," she said as she watched him yawn and tried to stifle back a yawn herself. "Once upon a time," she whispered to him as she watched him fall asleep. She paused for a couple of moments as he kissed the back of her hand once more. "There was a girl named Callisto and she was one Artemis's hunters. One day, Zeus saw her..." she went on with her story about the hunter who got turned into a bear before she noticed that Vincent was asleep.
She yawned before she relaxed in the bed and closed her eyes. "Night," she whispered to him as she drifted asleep. A couple of hours later in the middle of the night, Hailey rolled over towards Vincent as she cuddled into him.

This was probably going to be the biggest mistake that Hailey wasn't going to regret making. Yeah, come tomorrow she was probably going to be a jackalope and she had to readjust to a completely new life. But now... she was just living in the now and not really remembering that she made a vow to swear off all men.
He moved to lay down on the bed the normal way and she did follow suite, but left a little bit of space between the two of them. Oh how she wanted to cuddle and snuggle and all physical forms of contact since she swore off men. But... there was a little fire in her that was almost smothered that craved it. But she remained good as she laid next to him, before she giggled and blushed even more as he kissed the back of her hand.
"Are you going to sleep well now?" she asked him as she rolled onto her side to face him. "Don't need me to read you a bedtime story or anything?" she teased him as a slight smirk crept onto her face.

Hailey glanced down at Vincent's lips a couple of times as she waited for him to crawl into bed. If they weren't in her cabin... Artemis's cabin.... she would totally kiss him a lot more. His lips felt so good... especially against her own. But she couldn't, not now. Not when she could still be turned into a jackalope.
But he finally sat on the bed before he tugged on her hand and made an interesting proposition. "You want me to sleep with you..." she said slowly and softly. She didn't want Artemis to hear in case she listening. She glanced around the room before she looked at him and nodded her head. "Okay," she said as she moved to sit next to him. She just hoped that Artemis would just give her one night before she got turned into a jackalope... even if that one night was with a drunk guy.

Hailey's heart fluttered as Vincent didn't say anything to her. Instead, he reached out to rest his hand on her cheek and that caused the flush to grow a little darker. And he leaned in and her heart raced until his lips touched hers. She kissed him back softly as she forgot for a couple of moments why this was a completely bad idea. The thought that she'd be turned into a jackalope crossed her mind a few moments into the kiss as she pulled away from his lips.
"You really need to sleep," she whispered to him. She could taste alcohol in her mouth. His alcohol. She was so screwed. "Especially with how drunk you are right now." She prayed for a moment that her lady wouldn't come in and turn her into a monster.

He finally allowed her to walk him over to the bed made up for him. He would hopefully forget about Wolfie and everything else that happened tonight. At least he hadn't tried to make a move on her in her own cabin. If he did.... she was pretty certain that they'd be jackalopes by now. And hopefully he wouldn't have that horrible of a headache in the morning, because she wasn't sure how long her fellow Hunters were going to be out of the cabin.
Once they got over to the bed, he did something she wasn't expecting at all. He grabbed her hands and looked at her. Her heart fluttered. She was going to get kissed and turned into a jackalope. She was pretty certain about it before he said something that caused her to knit her eyebrows together. "I'm not going on patrol tonight," she said slowly and calmly before she heard the rest of his statement. Her face heated up more. When was the last time that a guy wanted to see her? Not since.... Danny... but not even him either.
And a side of her popped up in her. A side that she'd be suppressing for so long. "Don't worry," she said softly as she squeezed his hands. "I'll stay here tonight and I don't have patrol tomorrow. So I'll be around."

He glanced back at the bed and Hailey's heart skipped a couple of beats. He was really considering it. If he just considered it a little bit harder, then she would get out of this mess without worrying about showing him Wolfie. Then she hoped that his alcohol intake was bad enough that he would blackout this entire event and forget about her stuffed wolf in the morning.
But he did something she wasn't expecting. He grabbed her arm for balance, but her face really heated up, even more so thanks to her damn red hair, and her heart fluttered. She looked at him as he was close enough to smell the alcohol on his breath. She was going to tell him no. She never looked back once she made her pledge to Artemis. She was a good hunter. She was going to stay a hunter too.
"Sometimes," she muttered to him as she moved to grab his arm to balance him and use it to walk him over to his bed. "C'mon. You need the sleep." She was hoping he was actually listen to her this time and not try to complicate things further.

Hailey never saw the point in drinking even when she dating a Dionysus boy for a brief period of time. However, she could say that Vincent was a funny drunk. And an annoying one. Her face heated up as he did see her stuffed wolf and wanted to know about it. "I'm not hiding anything," she quipped back at him as she tried to sound more confident than she sounded at that moment. He was inebriated and she wasn't. She had to have the upper hand on this situation.
She sighed as he leaned against the wall. The alcohol was doing him no good with his balance. "Go back to bed," she ordered him as she pointed to the bed she made for him. "If you go to bed, I'll show you what I have under my pillow." She wasn't sure if he was going to fall for it. She was more hoping that he would go to bed and then pass out before she had a chance to show him Woofie. That was her one prized procession she had from her sister before she cracked and terrorized the camp. "So what do you say?"

Hailey tossed her towel onto her bed as she walked over to the girls. She rolled her shoulder trying to loosen it up. It was still hurting from all that physical therapy that the Apollo kids were putting her through. She started helping out Janessa with the making things visible on Emily's bed before Emily pulled out something.
Hailey stopped what she was doing as she walked over and knitted her eyebrows together. "Wow..." she muttered as she looked over the bear with her eyes. "I'm surprised that it has lasted this long." She looked up at Emily as she smiled a bit. "It's sweet your brother got you something." She didn't have anything that Hannah gave her. At least, not before she left for the hunt.

Hailey wasn't expecting for Vincent to grab the bedding out of her hands. He was drunk and she was surprised that he hadn't fallen over to the side and passed out by now. She raised her eyebrows when he commented on her eyes. "And you're drunk," she said as she reached over to start making up his bed since he didn't seem to realize that he needed to sleep. If they weren't in her cabin, she might have responded to the eyes comment differently, but they were in Artemis's cabin. She needed to be on her best behavior if she didn't want to turn into a jackalope.
Once she had the bed as made up as she possibly could, that's when he decided to take off his shirt. Hailey's face heated up a bit as she adverted her eyes. "You need to sleep so your hangover isn't so bad in the morning," she said as she risked a glance over at him. Damn, he had a nice chest. She quickly looked away as she pointed to her bed. "I'll be right there if you need anything or you can call for me." Her bed was simple. She used the bedding she came with to camp and that was a soothing mint green with a floral print. However, there sat a stuffed wolf on her bed. Hailey's face really heated up as she quickly walked over to her bed and moved her wolf underneath a pillow. Vincent really didn't need to see that side of her at all.

"They're not going to be there," Hailey replied as she kept pulling Vincent towards the edge of the forest. "Emily and Janessa happen to be away from camp tonight, so the cabin is going to be empty." She glanced over at him to give him a warning glare. "And don't think about trying anything while we're in there. My lady will surely hunt you down."
She finally dragged him to the edge of the forest and kept walking towards her cabin. It wasn't long before they were in the cabin and Hailey directed him to an empty bed. "Go sit over there," she said as she pointed. "I'll get some blankets and pillows so you can sleep this off." She walked over to a cabinet and pulled out a couple of blankets and pillows before walking back over to Vincent and dropping on the mattress. "You're going to have one nasty hangover in the morning," she warned him.

Hailey just stood there wide-eyed as she watched Vincent pick a fight with the trees. He had to be completely drunk off of his ass to do something like that. She froze as she watched the words flew and him trying to show the trees who was boss. She had half a mind to drag him to the infirmary, since she was pretty sure that this was something that was not normal with drunkenness.
Then he stopped as he told her off for taking him back to his cabin. She rolled her eyes as he rambled off about someone she didn't know nor did care about at that moment. He questioned her being on patrol once more and that's when she made an executive decision. She grabbed his arm and had a firm grip on him as she dragged him to the edge of the forest. "Change of plans. You're staying in my cabin until you sober up."

Hailey just stared at Vincent for a couple of moments as she blinked a couple of times. She never in her entire life seen anyone so drunk off their ass. She was surprised that he was still standing. "How many did you have?" she asked, even though she had a pretty good idea what the answer was, especially since he was looking for his cabin when he was a long way from it.
"I'm on patrol to find drunks like you." She reached out to grab his arm to start pulling him toward the direction of the cabins. "C'mon, I'll take you home." She paused for a moment as she heard the laughter of the party. Mentally, she debated whether or not to bust it, but decided against it as she caught Vincent hushing at the trees out of the corner of her eye. "C'mon," she repeated again as she tugged on his arm leading back to the cabins.

Everything was a blur to Hailey since the masquerade. She could honestly say that the night held more for her than she anticipated. She kept herself busy after it and threw herself into her Hunter duties. And one of those duties tonight happened to be patrolling around camp helping the harpies do so.
She walked through the forest as she kept her bow and arrows on her back and her dagger in her holster by her hip. Her shoulder was finally better that she could actually do patrols. She was growing so frustrated being cooped up in her cabin. She glanced over her shoulder a couple of times to make sure nobody was following her.
However, she whirled around once she heard her nickname. She scrunched up her eyebrows as the guy approached her. "Vincent?" she asked as she looked him over and took a step closer to him. "What are you doing here?" Then she caught a whiff of him. "Are you drunk?"

Hailey took her time with her shower. She even let a few tears out, which was rare for the hunter. She was just frustrated with the healing process of her shoulder. She just wanted to get out of this hellhole she knew as camp and go back out with Artemis. She didn't need to be around the guys that caused her to leave or made her question her vow.
However, she had to leave as she could tell that she was using up the hot water. She turned it off, dried herself off before getting changed once more. She stepped out of the shower as she saw Emily and Janessa were still there. Part of her wished that they weren't there, but she forced a little smile. "How much stuff did you bring, Emily?" she said with a slight tease in her voice. "Do you need an extra hand?"
