Accalia shook her head with an apologetic smile, "It's not that big of an issue really..." she said a little hesitantly. "But there are a lot of younger campers, little kids, so it probably isn't the best idea. But hey, it isn't a big deal. I could-we could just talk to Chiron about designating an area or something," she was starting to babble now, her mind was getting ahead of her. Everything she had said was true, however, at least in her eyes. The younger kids couldn't handle secondhand smoke as well as adults. Granted, this was a pretty large area, the smoke wouldn't hang in the air for long.
When she realized he was sort of joking she blinked, but her smile didn't widen. She glanced at the blonde, "Lotus. Wait brings you to the Athena cabin?"

Great, now Accalia felt bad. Well, she deserved to. She was acting so bi-polar, it's no surprise that the boy was confused and felt a little bad himself. Accalia sighed, "It's okay... I just worry about the plants, you know-" she tried to come up with some lame excuse as to why she was acting so callous. She kept her arms crossed but started rubbing them a little as she tried to soften her tone, "What I mean, is, I'm Accalia. Daughter of Demeter, and obviously bi-polar," she tried for an apologetic smile.
The tension broke due to a girl randomly approaching them. Accalia cocked an eyebrow at her, "Uh no, not really." Accalia wasn't really sure what else to say to the girl, so she just turned back to the guy she had been tormenting with her attitude a moment before. "But really, did you need help with anything? You must be new here," she asked him--trying to remember her initial concern.

Accalia laughed a little has he repositioned his hand on Fredericks head and laughed himself. "I know, they're very slobbery and quite dreadful," she chuckled again. But the moment of laughter quickly disappeared as she looked into his eyes and thought about what he had said a few moments ago.
He was right, of course. Just like it was stupid to look through this damned telescope, it was stupid to consider looking without coordinates. She groaned, nodding her head as she did so. "I know, I know. This is a big waste of time," she snapped. Not necessarily at him, mostly at life in general. "There is no reason to get hopeful, right? I mean-everything and everyone else has left. Except for Fred here, but that's all I've got. That's. All. I've. GOT." On the last word she proceeded to knock the telescope over with one fell swoop of her hand. She took a deep breath

Accalia was a little surprised to smell cigarette smoke as she started to walk by the Athena cabin. That was new. She turned to face whoever was doing it to tell them to give it a rest, but then she stopped. She had never seen the guy before, and she looked really upset... now what? She looked away from him for a second, trying to decide if she wanted to try and be nice to the guy or just stick to her bitter, hard-hearted self. She sighed, knowing what she was going to do no matter how hard she tried to be a tough guy.
She walked over to him slowly, "Hey um... do you need any help?" Um? was she really reverting back to that bumbling fool of a girl she used to be who let people walk all over her? No. Not today. She crossed her arms as she stopped a few feet in front of him. "I mean, this isn't really a smoking area," she said, sterner than her initial greeting.

Ethan Marsters is the Hades cabin leader, though she doesn't know that they are related yet. I think that he probably wouldn't take notice her at first. I think he'll be really important to her when she does get claimed. OR maybe he'll notice her showing traits of a Hades kid and figure it out, or at least guess. What are your thoughts? Ebonie Hazle is the future oracle and often has mini visions about people. She's also pretty childish and loves to just goof around. I think these two could actually be friends, and maybe Ebonie can even have visions about her? If you want. lemme know!

Accalia nodded at the explanation that Xenos was not here nor did he know that Harper was here. Good. Let him stay away. It wasn't wise for her to be here let alone her traitor of a boyfriend. Granted, Accalia could respect Harper for sneaking into camp without his knowledge. It showed that she really did care about the camp and about... about her siblings. Still, Accalia didn't show any sign of respect on her face. "I see. He's probably worried about you," she said with a lighter tone, but not by much.
Accalias eyebrows knit together in thought as she contemplated Harpers question. "Well... Dawn left. Charlotte seems to be doing well. Jacob left," she felt her voice crack just a little on that last one, "but... people are happy, I guess. I've basically been running the Demeter cabin while you've been away."

Accalia rolled her eyes at the thought of any Poseidon kid wearing a big feathery hat. "Yea, I think you're right, I don't want to be caught up in that,"she returned a smirk as she spoke. This kid was extremely easy to talk to, and that was starting to irritate Accalia. She wasn't supposed to be making new friends right now, not after the happenstances with all the old ones. New friends just made things more complicated. Still, she couldn't help but talk to the guy. "Maybe I'll look into air travel instead?" she suggested with an eyebrow raised.
Accalia nodded at his question about Fred, "Don't get me started. He could stand like that for hours if you kept rubbing his ears," she leaned down and let the dog lick her face. "He also loves kisses!" she said while a giggle, and actual giggle. Well, dogs can have that affect on you. She'd never turn her back on him.

The eye contact was almost as hard for Accalia as she was sure it was for Harper, but Accalia held her gaze. She refused to look away, and look weak. She was done with that sort of thing. No, she was going to stand up for herself, the camp and the Demeter cabin against their leader. In fact... no, that thought would have to be addressed later. First, she had to hear her sisters explanation.
The excuse was valid enough, missing everyone. Accalia nodded, but only once, as she contemplated what to say next. Truthfully, she didn't know how she felt about that comment. "You... were in Cali?" Accalia finally asked. Then, she was suddenly reminded of who Harper had run off with. Accalia looked around a little, "Is Xenos here, too?" she said this harshly, for Xenos was not good in Accalias books.

Accalia couldn't help but smile a little as he basically said she'd make a good pirate. That wasn't a bad idea. "You know, I've thought about asking those Poseidon kids, but I don't think they'd ever let me do the driving. Let alone help me steal a boat. Though, I could think of a few of them that would love to wear pirate clothes," she nodded. She wouldn't ever really do it. Actually, those Somalians were a pretty good reason to stay put.
"Yeah, I get it," Accalia said, and she did. She understood that all you could do was try. Though, she wasn't really trying lately... but what did that matter? She had other things to worry about. She couldn't trust anyone to treat her with kindness, could she? Well, except for this Charlie, apparently.

"Hey, Hey. I didn't promise that you wouldn't die of plants. It could still happen," she glared at him but with a smile on her face. Truthfully, she was pretty deadly with her plants. She had recently discovered a way to create a bow and projectile arrows on command out of plants nearby. She was still perfecting it though, and the arrows usually ended up spaghetti like... but it was a start. Strangling was always a good tactic though. She had never used it against anything but monsters, however.
She looked over to notice that his hands were suddenly balled into fists. Had she said something wrong? She waited as he composed himself and answered her, an intriguing answer. "Where was it? If you don't mind my asking..." she spoke slowly. She had heard of the Lotus Casino or Calypsos island. But there were other places too. Granted, he said it was a great place, so her two guesses could have been right.
She found herself suddenly taken aback when his eyes suddenly found hers again. He didn't seem like the got mess son of Hermes that she originally took him for. However, he was still a male. Her face softened a bit at his next words though. Someone was actually interested in hearing about her life. Someone who was here and not lost at sea, betraying camp, or growing up on their own. Now she had gotten lost in the past.
"I have an idea. You ask a question and then we both have to answer. Then I'll ask a question and we both have to answer. Make sense?" She cocked her head to the side, "Like this: What's your favorite color? Mine is blue," she looked at him expectantly, curiosity burning in her eyes.

Accalia glanced in the direction he pointed, and she was aware of what he was implying. It was a nice thought, really, the fact that he was trying to offer his opinions in order to help. "Thanks..." she still sounded discouraged though, and there was really no helping that. "What I really need to do is high-jack a ship of my own and just go out there and look for myself," she chuckled, but it was half-heartedly. Scratch that, it was quarter heartedly.
Accalia was a little taken aback by his comment about how people should be more like dogs. She knew that he was right, and there was a time when she would have said something very similar. It was an old fashioned concept, innocent until proven guilty, but she was intrigued by the way he presented it. He really seemed to believe in what he was saying and that was impressive. Accalia nodded, "That's a good point. Do you treat people that way?"

Accalia did see her sister flinch, and she also saw the look on her face as she rolled over and took Accalias hand. Accalia lifted her and quickly dropped the hand, dropping her arms to her sides. As Harper brushed herself off, Accalia just watched, waiting for Harper to make the first move. What could Accalia say to start to conversation? All of the thoughts swimming around in her head were just confusing her, and she wasn't pleased with that feeling. It was clear that Harper was also trying to avoid speaking first, but Accalia didn't mind waiting.
Soon, Harper mumbled a greeting and suddenly became very interested in her feet. Accalia waited a moment longer, letting the silence sink in, before speaking. "What are you doing here?" she asked. The question wasn't necessarily as harsh as it could have been, seeing as Accalia tried to take on a bored tone as she spoke.

Accalia saw as Harper struggled. She really wasn't expecting that. She should tell the plans to pull ba- too late, a branch knocked Harper to the ground. Accalia caught up and stood over her sister. About a million things rubbing through her head. She could feel her heart pounding in her ears.
She could just leave her down and have it out. But... Was Harper crying? Her eyes looked misty and wet. Accalia couldn't kick her while she was down. That just wasn't fair. Plus, she must have guns back for a reason and she had to at least hear her out... Right?
Finally, she held a hand out, "get up." she said.

Seriously? She was running away? Accalia had a split second to decide. Should she run after her and demand to know why she was here, why she abandoned her cabin and her duties as cabin leader, why she left in the first place (though, Accalia did know a little about that) and why she was running like a coward? Or did she just stand there and let her run? Who needed her anyway? Accalia felt a tug at her heart. She loved her sister, somewhere, but Harper was also one of the reasons Accalia had been so bitter lately.
Accalia decided to will the plants around Harper to try and slow her down by wrapping vines around her legs or swinging branches at her. Not enough to really hurt, but hopefully to slow her enough for Accalia to catch up. Granted, Harper could easily counter the plants, but Accalia hoped she caught her sister off guard. Accalia began running after her.
