With the knife so near his throat he waited a second before she placed it away and spoke. As she did he let go of a breath he had been holding subconsciously. This girl, is a little too quick to stab for me I'd think. But I can't just back down from a challenge like that. Reaching up, he rubbed his neck a little on the side and gave her a bit of a nervous smile. "Well I would say I value my live highly, but I've got a few friends in Iraq that would disagree after I took some bullets for them." Hearing the venom in her voice after she chuckled a bit riled him up just a bit. His face hardened as he opened his mouth, "What do you take me for, some kind of coward? To just run away because you pointed a knife at my throat? I might have, if you were the first woman who did something like this. As it stands I've seen things far worse then you, and done deeds that still haunt my dreams at night. Come back to me with your venom once you've killed a child no older then 13 just because if you didn't, he would kill you."
Looking away from the girl, he got lost in his memories for a moment. His mind flashing back to his time in Iraq and the things he did just to survive. Not to mention, his time as a POW. Shaking himself from his mind he looked back down at the girl before him. "I came here to ask for a spar, and I still will. Hopefully so long as you don't kill or permanently maim me, we'll get along just fine." He tried to smile a bit as he said that pulling a seemingly simple bronze wrench from the side of his pants, and sliding a weapon off his back to prop against the side of the arena. He still had no ammunition for the rifle so it was, for now, just a massive paper weight. Twirling the wrench around one hand he faced the girl again. "My name is Leon, and I'm still quite new here. Don't go too harsh on me." With one final flourish the wrench turned into the Celestial Bronze War Hammer it was meant to be. He settled it over one shoulder while looking at the girl expectantly.

Leon grunted softly as he pulled out the set of jacks he used to work on his car with, and his full set of tools. He quickly pushed the tool set into the forges and marked it off as his to use, grabbing a few tools he thought he may use before going back out to his car. He took off his orange coat and laid it in the drivers seat before starting to jack up the car. In a few short minutes he had finished up and was ready to dive under and get to work. He laid out all of his tools and the oil pan slightly under the hood. After grabbing a roller from inside the forge he placed it on the ground in front of his car before he slid into place under the engine. Even with his technomancy powers he still preferred to mix it up under the car instead of just allowing that power to do all of the work. Putting on his headphones he got to work on changing the oil to the tune of "Baba O'Riley" by The Who. His car, the magnificent piece of work of 20 years of combined effort between his mother and himself was a 1969 Chevy Camaro Z28. Colored a bright orange with two black racing stripes running the length of the car, she was a mean machine.

Leon stood at the edge of the arena watching as a girl stabbed a dummy with a very surprising amount of knives she seemed to keep, somewhere on her person. "My gods, where does she keep all of those knives?" He whispered to himself under his breath. She seemed to be stabbing it to the beat of some song known only to her. What was most shocking to him was still the fact that it looked like she wasn't about to run out of knives any time soon.
All too soon she had actually finished stabbing the training dummy with her considerable amount of knives, stepping back to admire her own work before chucking softly to herself. She then started to remove her knives and that was when he decided to try to talk to the young woman before him. He walked up to her, making sure she could hear his steps well before he got close to her, not wanting to startle her and get stabbed. He called out a greeting to her as he stopped around ten feet away from her, "Hello there! What has this particular dummy done to deserve your ire today? Should I expect the same treatment if I asked you for a spar?" He asked her in a joking manner.

Leon was looking around camp for a nice quiet place to do a little bit of relaxing. Wandering away from the cabins, he found himself on the edge of a beautiful lake. Normally he would avoid such a place, but the lake looked shallow enough for him to be comfortable in so he decided to relax on the edge of the water for a short while. He walked over to the edge of the water before he sat down, taking off his shoes and socks. He then rolled up the legs of his pants and dipped his feet down into the cool water. He released a sigh of contentment at the feeling of the water and leaned back against his hands to look up at the sky. Suddenly remembering his iPod, he pulled out the headphones and placed the set over his ears and head. Shuffling though his music he eventually settled on a song by Billy Joel, titled, "The Piano Man." Nodding his head to the music he sat there and relaxed, wondering if anyone was going to come say hello.

After parking his car down by the forges, Leon slowly walked up the steps towards the building Chiron had told him was the Hephaestus Cabin. It was a brick building, with some smoke stacks coming out of the top of it. Standing on the porch he looked at the large round metal door in front of him before sighing, "Well, it looks like this will be my new home for awhile. I guess it's time to say hello to my brothers and sisters. Here goes nothing." He knocked on the door before opening it and stepping inside. Looking around he shuffled over to what he assumed was an empty bunk as there was nothing around it, it was also furthest from the entrance to the cabin. Setting his rucksack and bag on top of it he began to unpack his things. At the foot of his bunk he found a foot locker similar to the one he used at basic and while deployed. He swiftly unpacked all of his clothes and hygiene products into the locker before locking it up out of habit. He placed a picture of him and his mother on his sixteenth birthday beside his bed, along with a small metal sculpture of his car that she had made for him. Tucking his wrench into a loop on the side of his pants he pulled out his M26-IAR and wondered where he should place it. Not knowing anyone else in the cabin yet, he decided it was best to keep the rifle on him, so he pulled out a sling for it and swiftly attached it before securing it onto his back. He then sat down on the bed to think for a short while.

Current Love Interest: Harper Blitz Gash

He's generally pretty easy going and doesn't mind most company.

Lovers: The only woman Blitz has ever been around, technically is Lupa. He's not too sure if they are going to be interested in him, but he's going to try his best to flirt with at least a few of them. Who knows, he might even find true love on the way. Duncan McLeoudFriends: Duncan is a pretty easy fellow to get along with. Provided that you like drinking and don't rat out his secret base to the big cheese. He loves to party hard, and will hang out with anyone who's down to party.Enemies: Duncan is bound to make a few of these, he's just not quite sure how yet. He knows it will probably be just bad luck, but he's never really been the luckiest guy around.Lovers: This man, this man will probably have a good deal of these. He's a party animal and loves to get in the mood with a good glass and a good woman.

WHAT'S MY OFFENCE
THIS TIME
HOMETOWN: Dothan, Alabama
HISTORY: Leon was born during the night on March 30. He was a strong healthy babe. His mother Morrigan was the owner of a small local garage that was frequented by many types of people. It was her skill with machinery that drew the ancient god to her. Hephaestus courted the woman for many months before he wound up impregnating her. He informed her of the ancient laws that would bind him once the babe was born, how he could no longer see her or his own child. She wept as he spoke, wishing with all her heart that he could stay. In the end she was left to raise him alone. She set up a crib in a corner of the shop beside the sink so she could wash her hands before taking care of what he needed. So life continued on, day in and day out. Hephaestus occasionally stopped by, hidden under a disguise, to see the woman he loved and his son. Slowly the boy grew older, with each year his motor skills increase he slowly found his love for machines and building things. By the time he was eight he had build his first engine, and at ten he built a functioning robot. From then on he helped his mother in her shot after he got home from school. People came to like the excited little child who worked in the small shop, he brought a small measure of joy to their lives.
When the boy turned sixteen, the unthinkable happened. He came home from school in his mom's car to find her trapped under a car. The lift the car had been on had failed due to an electrical problem. He thrust his hand at the car and it deconstructed under this strange power that his hand unleashed. He called 911 but he knew it was too late. Rushing back to her side he cradled her head in his lap, after gently moving her from where the lift was. She brushed his cheek with her hand and softly told him of his heritage, and what it meant to be a demigod. He just cried harder, blaming the gods for this injustice. As if answering his cries, a small light enveloped the space beside him and a bronze monkey wrench appeared beside him with a note. He picked up the note, reading it quickly before throwing it away. Pulling on the power he had earlier he put the car back together on the broken lift so when the paramedics arrived they wouldn't be suspicious. His mother looked up at him and said one last thing before the light left her eyes, "I love you, my son. And I'm so proud of you." Shortly after she died the paramedics arrived, they ushered him away from his mother and went to work to try and save her. After several tense minutes, they looked up at Leon and shook their heads, "I'm sorry son, she's gone." This led to a fresh torrent of tears from the sixteen year old, but he nodded his head sadly. Soon the police arrived and he answered the questions they had before the paramedics took the body to the hospital for it's autopsy. Over the next several weeks, everything with his mother's death was taken care of. He fought being placed into the foster system and got himself emancipated as a minor and continued work at the shop his mother owned. By utilizing his new found power he was able to keep up the work that was taking the two of them together. As for the bronze wrench, it turned out to be a magical object that could change between being a wrench and a massive war hammer. The note explained how it worked and why is was given to him.
After two years on his own he hit his eighteenth birthday, once he finished school a few months later, he was shipped off to basic training with the US Army. He closed up the shop for good and packed away all of his possessions before leaving out. After the grueling months of training, he was deployed out with the 501st mechanical brigade to Iraq. He served 4 one year tours over seas before he was medically discharged due to taking three round from an AK-47 in the chest. During his four tours, he was captured by enemy agents for a period of three months, being tortured and beaten each day for information until he was found and rescued by his unit. After his medical discharge and being forced to be a civilian again, he was at least allowed to buy the rifle he had been using for all the years he served. The M27 Infantry Automatic Rifle, a light machine gun. Along with ten 30 round STANAG mags and three 100 round BETA mags. He did not purchase any ammo for it, mostly intending to display it in his home, before realizing something he had put off to the back of his mind for all the years it had been since the death of his mother. Upon arriving back to his home, which was dusty and dirty, but still home, he pulled out the wrench given to him by his father. With but a though it transformed into a war hammer with a three foot handle and a foot wide hammer head that turned into a spike curving downwards on the other end. It was a heavy instrument, but nothing his hard years training with the Marines hadn't prepared him for. Eyeing it up he pushed it back into it's wrench form before tucking it away into his rucksack. In a few weeks his old high school was having a five year reunion, as soon as it was over he was planning to move up to New York, and that place where his mother had told him about. Camp Half-Blood it was called.
